Very special meal. My husband and I visited Seattle from the east coast and I booked this as our celebratory anniversary/bday dinner. We were there for Sunday dinner. The food and drinks were excellent -- sort of like simple home cooking done very well. Great fish spread followed by radiccio salad then pork w spaetzle and finally pear cake. Lovely composition to the menu, interesting and delicious. Wine which comes with the set menu was great pairing. Service was excellent -- perfect lowkey constant monitoring happy to have us there sort of service. Ambiance was very cool, 100+year old building created by Italian stone mason, gorgeous cozy lighting was romantic. I had almost switched the reservation out for something closer to hotel and very happy I did not. Would highly recommend this memorable restaurant. read more

We have dined here on several special occasions and alwsys have a fabulous time. The outdoor covered seating works throughout the winter thanks to good heaters, and allows worry-free dining. The food is wonderful and they are accomodating to any dietary needs or nuances tovtheir fixed menus. Services wonderful attentive without being over bearing. Such a lovely dinner! Booked it way in advance...like, a month in advance. Parking was a bit limited, kind of park where ever you can find a spot. The service was impeccable and is what made the experience so damn wonderful! And the food is so ridiculously unique and delicious. Perfectly cooked, all of it. Due to covid, dining is outside only still, but the weather cooperated, and their gardens are quaint and esthetically pleasing. Can't wait to return. read more

Kinda disappointed since I was very excited to try this place. The courses we had did not worth the cost. The flavors weren't always complimenting since there was always an ingredient that was overpowering. I would ask the chef to not have chunky praline pieces for the dessert. It was too hard to eat and made the dessert experience difficult. In addition, the heaters were too hot for upper body but not circulating enough to feel warm. read more

What a wonderful evening! We enjoyed the prix fixe menu on 4/24/21, to celebrate my partner's birthday. It was truly a magical experience, something we both had been missing during this pandemic. My partner enjoyed the wine pairing with her meal. We both raved at dish after dish - the amuse bouche was a tantalizing foreshadowing of the culinary delights we experienced throughout the evening! Our server (I don't recall his name) was pleasant and described each dish as well as the varietals in the wine accompaniment. We were also treated to a welcome cocktail upon arrival, a sparkling wine concoction prepared with homemade rhubarb syrup and lemon twist. Delightful! I found myself in a feeling of almost paradise in the back garden at the Corson building. We remarked that we'd love to have a special event here some day. CUISINE Antipasti - so delicious, would have been satisfied with this spread as a meal. Excellent Italian cuts and cheeses, a deliciously addictive hummus and tapenade, artfully house-made crackers, beautiful olives. Salad - super-fresh romaine lightly tossed with anchovy dressing, freshly grated parm. Pizzas - margherita, mushroom, sausage, pepperoni. Simple but well-fired pies. Fantastic pizza!!! This place is great, their pizza is wood fire but has substantial crust. I enjoyed the fennel sausage pizza, the margarita, and the Brussel sprout. The staff is very friendly and able to deal well with how busy they can get! read more

We went the The Corson Building last night 12/07/2023 and it was simply the best. The food is sourced as locally as possible, and the dishes are meant to be small bites that are shared. The menu is seasonal (and changes weekly), and every bite fantastic. You can tell the kitchen puts a lot of thought into what is going on your plate. My boyfriend and I split the salad, bread service, the lamb ravioli, the hanger steak and two desserts. This plus a drink each, and tip we were able to keep this at $200.00 (which can be really freaking hard to do now a days). We expect to be back many more times. On top of the great food, the staff is super attentive. We were waited on by Teriq, who was fantastic, but you can tell the whole staff was keeping their eyes peeled for empty water glasses, plates that could be taken away, etc etc. So service is 10/10, food was a 10/10, and even more is that the restaurant is stunning!!! Wow, what an incredible experience! Love how this beautiful building is tucked in the unassuming neighborhood of Georgetown. Went here for a friend's birthday last weekend. We sat at the outdoor patio and had our own personal heat lamp so we felt warm the entire time! As a table, we ordered the squash hummus, little gem lettuce, ricotta dumplings, smoked sockeye for appetizers and then the beef, fish (can't remember what kind) and chicken confit for dinner. Dessert, we had the panna cotta and what I think was a peach tart. Panna cotta was to die for! Their menu changes regularly so I won't go into detail on what to order, but the presentation was excellent and everything tasted very good. The food is delicious, very creative compositions, quite flavorful. Our service was ok. Not welcoming but also not unfriendly. A bit on the neutral side. Although the server smiled with other patrons. So, it might have been just us. The garden is very beautiful. However, the many, many tables they squeezed into the tiny space, the very loud freight trains rattling your table and the constant planes right above your head, make this space very, very challenging to relax in, not easy to enjoy their lovely dishes. We left saddened, reminiscing the old days in this restaurant when the magic would still come through. The fun we had, how much we used to enjoy ourselves here. We won't be back but we wish them all the best nevertheless, surviving as a successful restaurateur these days must be darn hard work. read more

The cordon building was spot on. Food was delicious and we ate on the patio with our own private heat lamp. The elements didn't bother us at all. Our waiter was quirky and you could tell he was very passionate about the food. So fun to see this restaurant come together and make it happen during these crazy times. My wife and I came to Celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere and food did not disappoint. The lamb dumplings were our favorite, and their fish was perfectly blackened and delicious. A very interesting dining experience ! The ambiance, decor, service, romance and quirkiness were all 10/10 ! From the moment we pulled into the parking there was a big smile on our faces. The house is enchanting from inside out. It feels like you are in some rustic italian villa with a lot of character. The menu - although somewhat limited - is pretty seafood heavy and they were happy to make substitutions for us whenever possible. The main dishes run from $20-$30 and each dish on the menu is designed to be shareable. When they bring out the food - they will serve it family style and give you share plates. The cool thing was a lot of the dishes had ingredients fresh from their garden outside ! The only place where it lacked was the food itself. The menu was very craft kitcheny. And some of the flavors worked really well - whereas some were just odd. They need to work on this more - since you are paying a lot for this experience, I would have liked the food to be more flavorful and complex. Overall - since there is a lack of such places in Seattle, I would give it 4 stars. Great way to spend a date night ! read more

Celebrated a birthday on a warm night, which was perfect for outdoor dining. All safety precautions were taken. Outside patio had ample spacing between tables and offered a relaxing atmosphere. One benefit of dining during the pandemic is that the normal family style seating was replaced with individual platings. I feel this made it more special and guaranteed that everyone had access to all the dishes. Each plate was done nicely, portions good and everything was delicious. The moment you walk through the door you'll see that much thought was put into the design layout and menu, to ensure whatever your celebrating or even just wanting to experience The Corson Building, the staff and food will not let you down! A group of twelve of us were here celebrating a friend's birthday. Our table beautifully set, a lot of wine was poured and we were ready to start our dinner. Fresh burrata and heirloom tomatoes on their house made bread was amazing. We shared an apple, and fennel salad, pan seared coho salmon with black rice, morel mushroom, corn and tahini- amazing! We also had roasted quail with vegetables and cardamom cake was the dessert of the night- everything was stellar. The Corson Building is an absolutely phenomenal experience. I will however, preface this review by saying it's not a place for introverts. My boyfriend took me to the Saturday shared meal and it was fantastic. I was worried about the noise and group seating because of so many reviews I read complaining about these things... however, we lucked out! When we got there we met two really cool couples and ended up being seated with them. When you get there, you are greater with bubbles and are encouraged to explore the building and mingle with others. I thought that was really unique. After a while, you are seated, you meat the chef and sommelier and hear about the menu. From then on, food comes out family style and you chat with your new friends. While my boyfriend and I loved the experience, we're sure it had a lot to do with the people we were sitting with. They were engaging and fun... the other half of the table was not really talking to each other and a few times I wondered how awkward that must be... especially with how loud the dining room gets. I go to tasting menus often... the food was really good, but not the best I've ever had; however, I can't wait to go back because of how wonderful the experience was. 5 stars. read more

We recently had our wedding at The Corson Building and it was a dream come true. We knew we wanted a small, intimate event that highlighted great food and the Corson Building was the perfect place for all that and more. We worked with Stephanie and after 10 months of planning she feels like a friend. The rest of the staff the day of the event were equally as kind and all played a role in making it a special day for both us and our guests. A great aspect of the venue is that it's so incredibly beautiful that it didn't require a ton of decorations helping to keep our costs down. We would describe it as a little oasis hidden in Seattle's industrial Georgetown neighborhood. The venue also coordinates all rentals for plates, tables, chairs, dance floor etc. making it one less vendor to worry about. Finally, the venue allowed us to store decorations the night before the wedding and the night of, making set up much easier for our day of coordinator. Due to the small nature of the venue and the number of guests invited we had to have some guests stand for the ceremony and we had to split our guests between indoor and outdoor seating for dinner. While at first we weren't thrilled about either of these details, Stephanie told us it had never had been an issue and she was right. Everyone had a great time and the environment felt like an intimate dinner party with friends. The only other thing to be aware of is you don't get to taste the food before your wedding, but get to choose each course from a list of options. We'd eaten at the Corson Building a number of times and everything we'd had was amazing so were not concerned by this. We got rave reviews that it was the best food people had ever had at a wedding, and a number of local guests plan to get dinner at the venue soon. The Corson Building is the perfect place for a go with the flow couple who loves food and wants to treat their guests to a truly intimate experience. If you want overpriced poor tasting food, in a super loud building, while being forced to serve other people food go here. First of all, the staff is rude as hell. The have the whole awkward NW thing down solid. The place is one of these new age commie type places that gives your table(where you are forced to talk to complete strangers) a large platter of food and you have to do the waiter's job and serves yourself and others. The food was bad. Started with a boring salad thing, then a bread thing with a tasteless paste on top. We were served some type of red meat which was okay, however by the type the platter got to me there was hardly any left. You should have to share food with people when you pay a 100 bucks a person for dinner. They did serve a lot of wine. I appreciated that since being tanked was the only way to deal with this place. read more

We went here for our anniversary. It was a fun adventure and enjoyable. I do not think I would go again and I havent recommended it. Here is my take on the whole place, which could be just a load of baloney. I didn't like sitting with 8 other people I didn't know. It's not that I am anti-social, it's just that I wanted to be alone with my husband and when you are sitting with a group of people you dont know, its hard to be socially "on" the entire dinner. It was tiresome being entertaining and making small talk. I felt my whole experience was exhausting and a bit stressful. The food was great! It is served family style, so everything comes on big plates you hand around the table to each other. There was lots of food left over because I think most people didn't want to appear greedy or piggish in front of the other diners. Myself included. Plus its a chore asking people to pass stuff around again. I know it is completely on me for having made reservations here, but I thought it would be more relaxing and fun. I had very little in common with the other diners and so that made for awkward conversation. So I remember the food being great, the wine being great, but what I remember most is the anxious feeling I had most of the night. Spring is coming! And though Airport Way isn't known for its beauty and quaint gardens, the Corson Building on the corner of Airport Way and Corson is. My sweetie and I got a mad good deal for their Sunday dinner a while back: $45 for 5 courses that included a glass of rose to start your evening (me thinks the prices have since gone up). I had called in prior to let them know that I do not eat red meat - only poultry and fish - and they were happy to oblige me for their menu, which is created daily by them and depends on what is in season. The menu is not provided to us prior to arriving. Fun! Before we walked inside this cute little house, we walked around the small garden and admired the flora and greenhouse--their herbs for cooking are picked here. I looked for the chickens that roam around the yard, but since I didn't see any...well... Thank you, Chicken. I salute you and your tastiness. Once inside, we glided in and out the best we could in between couples as we wandered around the two small dining rooms and kitchen. (I loved their kitchen; you could stand in the doorway and see the chefs working on the meal!) Note 1: if you're claustrophic, this may not be the place for you. Later, we were asked to sit at the communal table we were assigned to. Note 2: if you would rather be licked on the inner eyelid by a cat rather than talk with strangers, you may not care for this arrangement. We loved it. A dish of fiddlehead ferns, chicken in wine sauce, and a rabbit ragu came out in nicely-timed succession (they accidentally tried to give me rabbit, but the chef whipped me up something else on the spot. Sweet.) I unfortunately do not remember the other courses they served us, the lighting was dim as evening fell, so the pictures would have been poor. My table was (luckily) lively and fun, so this experience could be hit-and-miss if you're not reserving an entire table for you and your friends. I appreciated that [they] would start each course at a different end of the table, because the portions were on the smaller side; and though I was lucky most of the time, my serving ended up being even smaller a couple of times. This review is for the Sunday Supper. I was really looking forward to eating at The Corson Building after scouting the location for a wedding. The promise of fresh ingredients prepared with passion and skill was quite alluring, like a downtown version of "The Herb Farm". The food was indeed prepared from fresh ingredients and seasoned well. However, the Borage soup with yogurt and harissa had some greens that were impossible to chew -- the texture was like chewing a plastic bag. Not sure what happened there. The clams stewed with fennel were wonderful. They were served with a very tasty house-made sourdough bread. The highlight of the main dishes was the scrambled eggs with morels and garlic scapes. Absolutely delicious. The next dish, a platter of black cod with porcini, fava beans & spring onion, went around our table of 8 and was gone by the 6th person, so I didn't get a chance to taste it. The "family style" presentation was definitely a problem here. To their credit, they brought me and the guy next to me a small piece of quail to make up for it - but it was just a tiny morsel. The next course was Lopez Island beef with raw turnips, cucumber and beets. I'm not sure what happened here but the meat was impossible to cut with the provided (non-serrated) knives. I was finally able to saw through it with my pocket knife and found it to be extremely tough and chewy, despite appearing to be cooked to a decent medium rare. Presented as the "main course", this was a disappointment. The meal closed with a a delicious Pot de crème garnished with sour cherries, rose water and pomegranate molasses. The custard was cooked to perfection and everyone agreed it was the highlight of the meal. I can see how the family style dining experience could be interesting. Getting seated next to strangers and learning about them over food and drink sounds great -- given the right people. I had the misfortune of sitting next to one of the most irritating people I've ever met. She was constantly complaining to the staff, making custom demands, and bragging about herself the entire meal. She is also the one who finished off the black cod leaving the rest of the table with none. I really wanted to like this place. However, between the un-chewable plastic soup, the black cod debacle and the impossibly tough beef, I can't give it more than 3 stars. Did I mention that the acoustics are terrible and it is almost impossible to carry on a conversation with someone two spaces away from you without shouting? I debated giving it two stars because of the irritating customer I was seated next to, but the staff clearly have no control over that. However, you should be aware that you're essentially playing Russian roulette on that front. I still really like the IDEA of this place. I'm sure that given the right evening, it's a totally amazing experience. But my personal experience did not make me want to return. read more

The Corson Building is like no other restaurant in Georgetown (and maybe Seattle). When you walk through the well-manicured gardens and step inside the cute little European-style building, you almost forget that you're across the street from a soccer field. Or that there's a freeway directly overhead. Or that the restaurant is located right next some train tracks. Indeed, once you're under the spell of the Corson Building, watching a local raccoon scavenge for food outside the window seems charming, not gross. We came on a Friday, when they serve dinner a la carte. They offer a very small menu (that's handwritten!), but it's a great way to see if you like the food before committing to the multi-course Saturday dinner. Also, it's much cheaper. When we arrived, they tried to seat us at a space that was just too small (all diners sit together at communal tables). When we complained, they said they would move us as soon as some other people left. While we waited, they gave us complimentary glasses of sparkling wine, which was really nice and definitely made up for the inconvenience. We started with the rabbit + duck rillette spread on sourdough bread with pickled plums. This was my favorite dish of the night. I had to stop myself from just shoveling it down my throat. Another fun fact about the Corson Building: they bake their own bread! It was light and airy and I loved it. I had the roasted black cod with cabbage and grapes for my main course. The portion was a little bit on the small side, but the black cod was cooked perfectly and they even managed to blacken the skin in such a way that it was crazy delicious. And I don't even like fish skin! For dessert we had the crepes with plums, almonds, and cream. Wow. This was so good. I love really desserty desserts (you know, chocolate souffles, etc.) but these crepes were just sweet enough without being over the top. At the end of the night they brought us our check tucked inside a vintage railroad manual. It was a fitting nod to the Corson Building's location, but also another example of the many little touches that make this place so special. read more

We made reservations for their Sunday Brunch. As others have mentioned, it's $18pp. There is a buffet of a few different salads, cut fruit, fresh yogurt with mixin's (honey, nuts, jam/compote), bread, brie/a type of cheese. (Alas, the pate Mei-I F. mentioned was not present and I love pate.) Then you choose from the 2 entree offerings of the day. When we went, it was fish or pork. I did order a french press coffee like others suggested and it was wonderful! The buffet spread was light and tasty. I probably filled up most by eating their bread. One particular refill the bread was incredibly hard and they stopped refilling on the brie (I just took a small wedge, sigh). Since they do brunch at 10am and noon, I'd imagine they want to spread out their...spreads so that each grouping has the same amount of food. We shared a table with another group but didn't interact much with them. I'm not huge on communal dining, so I'm glad things worked out this way. The vibe was really laid-back and happy. People talked and ate and it wasn't too loud or soft. The room held about 20? people. Our entrees were quite small, and they had taken our buffet plates by then, so it was kind of like: Umm....But the pork w/ soft boiled egg was tasty as was the fish. Afterwards, we split the check and wandered the grounds. OOH chickens! This was a good introductory experience to the Corson Building without breaking the bank. I probably won't be coming back here though. There's so much more out there to see and eat, thanks anyway! Worth a shot to anyone new, and definitely make reservations. :) read more

June 19, 2011: Sunday Supper, a.k.a. "Sunday's Spoonfulls" at the Corson Building. Truly delicious food, but not worth the price, as you must either eat before you arrive, or be prepared to go home hungry because they only serve 1 platter of food, family style, for each course, regardless of table size. For our 12 person table, this meant each guest only got a nibble of each course. I don't mind paying for a well prepared meal made with quality ingredients, but I don't expect to go home hungry after spending $80/person (including tax and tip) for a meal. Our "Sunday Supper" should have been called "Sunday's Spoonfuls" since 2 teaspoon were about all we got of each dish. This was especially maddening because 1) the food tasted so good, and 2) they were so cheap and cheesy that they actually made pairs of guests share a single duck leg. Our jaws literally dropped when the server set down a wonderful plate of braised and apple wood smoked duck legs, then told us "one leg per 2 guests. I like The Corson Building: the concept, the location, the building - the experience of dining - which is something that is rare in Seattle, and specifically what makes this place special. And while the experience and journey of a meal is an important part of dining for me, for the price (approximately $275 for two people), The Corson Building was a massive disappointment. During my latest visit, the peppers were unremarkable, the shrimp was bland, I bit into a small sharp piece of shell hidden within the crab dish (if I would've chipped a tooth...), the lamb was chewy, and the dessert reminded me exactly of something that would be served at the Dahlia Lounge (no - that is not a good thing). The presentation was weak and awkward at points. When the server presented the lamb, he said to me, "This is the lamb." I waited for him to continue, perhaps to tell me what it was served with, how it was prepared, but he simply walked away after a too long-pause as though he couldn't remember what he was supposed to say. I was luckily sharing this meal with wonderful company, and the setting is a good place to spend a few hours enjoying a meal with friends. And it is worth noting that the first time I came to this restaurant, I remember enjoying the food very much. However, for a place that is self-proclaimed to be "dedicated to food", the Corson Building failed to deliver. read more

My fiancé and I came here for their Sunday night dinner - prix fixe meal for $75, inc. drinks (wine, then coffee). Overall, it was a delicious, unique experience! Dining was communal style, so we sat at a long table with eight other guests. Be prepared for a three hour long meal getting to know everyone at your table! It was fun but to be honest, I got kind of tired after a long day... so introverts, consider this a warning. Similarly, don't expect quality time or conversation with whoever you're going with - it gets loud with everyone talking to each other! The atmosphere is very intimate though, just three tables in the dining room and a kitchen that is open for you to go back to observe and see the chefs do their magic - pretty neat! The food was spectacular - amazing flavors and the greens (no matter what dish they were in..) were so so good! I don't think I've ever had such fresh tasting veggies before! All dishes come out family style, but there's definitely enough for everyone to have one of each food item, some two. I have to admit it's weird in that you don't know if you're getting a good/fair portion of each dish if it's just take some and pass it down though. We ended up designating one person to help serve halfway through which made it more equal I think? It wasn't a big deal though, just different from any other sit down restaurant. Also, you kind of go into the dinner not knowing what you'll be eating, since it's chef's choice and the menu isn't posted/always changes. We had (in this order, with minimal detail because I can't remember everything that was just told to us once): fried oyster, lamb tartare, salad, scallops with lentils, duck and apple cake with pistachio ice cream. As mentioned earlier, each dish was prepared very well and the food and flavors were delicious. I was pleased with everything! I left stuffed and satisfied with my meal, though tired. I would say with all the variety and decently portioned food, drinks and overall experience, it's worth the high price of the prix fixe meal and trying at least once. Really interesting communal dining here! This place was always mysterious for me. I rarely go to West Seattle, but I see amazing review at Yelp. I was curious to try this place, and brought my friend who visited Seattle. I made a reservation several weeks ago for Saturday prefix dinner. They kindly called us for confirming our reservation. There are some parking place around restaurant so you can get the spot if you are lucky. When we arrived there, some people were waiting outside of the restaurant. We looked at the garden area and look through the window. Chefs were busy preparing food and they opened the door 6:30 sharp. There were welcoming drink prepared when you enter. You check in and they handed us welcome drink. From there, people have to wait until they assign the seat. People started looking at this small mansion, walked around, introduced each other.. mingling.. one of the chefs bring out some little snack bite for everyone. When you sit down at assigned seat, chef will kindly walked around and check everyone about wine pairing. That day we went they had 5 glasses of wine for $40 (pairing- Good deal I think ) but we just came back from Woodinville after wine tasting, so ended up have single glass ordering from separate wine menu. It looked like the chef had a great understanding of wines they are preparing. He kindly explained about wine to people who did pairing. We might be the youngest one among our table people. Haha (Late 20's) Most of them were couple and were here for some special occasions to celebrate. We set next to married couple who had great conversation about Seattle dining :) Before you start meal, two chefs asked everyone's attention. They briefly explained about history of this mansion and started explain about course of the day. Seriously! it was a lot. Something something.. something... and it wasn't the even the start of the main course. I was really excited about this dinner. Our dinner started with toast with chicken river. Plate placed at the end of the table, and people start to pass around dish. At first I expect portion would be small for the one who get the last dish, but it wasn't. Everyone got great amount of portion. Meal continues with salad.. smoked salmon with avocado ... shrimp dish, fried shrimp head.. and for main course, we got scallop dish (per person) and lamp dish (to share) I think I must miss few more dishes since it was a lot, but that's about what I am remembering.. :P Dessert was prepare with coffee. Food was really good. Well prepared speed was nice as well. Servers are very diligent and professional. I loved it! Few things I would like to give feedback to them is the 'light' of the restaurant. When it gets dark, it was too dark inside for me. I wish there is some kind of subtle ambient light other than just candle. Also, since it's an old mansion, I felt a bit cold inside there. My friend and I were kept talking that the inside is little bit cold. However, seriously, it was one of my memorable and unique dinners I ever had. I had a great conversation with one of server there. He was very passionate about his workplace and food that they serve. I will try here for Sunday supper next time. We had a nice dinning experience. My husband and I came on a Saturday night. It is European style seating, so you it's important you feel comfortable sharing a table with strangers (unless your bring friends). The set up is 4 tables of eight and food for the most part is served family style, so one big shared plate passed around. A super cozy, charming little house. The staff was very friendly and explained the entire menu at the beginning. Food was good and creative. There were many courses with plenty of fresh vegetables. If your not a meat eater there was lots of items that you would enjoy as well. My husband did the wine pairing and he thought the wines matched the food quite nicely. My only complaint was I wish they had larger water glasses and left a water bottle on the table, I had to keep asking for my glass to be filled:( read more

It's funny, I read some of the poor reviews and wonder if they were at the same Corson Buliding as I went to. Last night I had the best scallops I have ever had in my life. Every dish was a complex blend of quality ingredients. Our server was a total sweetie pie and the entire building was full of the chatter of people enjoying themselves. This is one of the finest restaurants I have ever been to. I can not wait to go there in better weather so we can eat outside in the garden. read more

Delish food, beautiful Instagram-worthy setting and keen service. We had the Friday a la carte dinner. We ordered the cod entree which was perfectly cooked and yet charred on the outside - I loved it. The chanterelle fritters were delish and the smoked trout/clam salad was phenomenal. The server was very polite and attentive. More like 4.5 since we had to wait despite making a reservation. But rounding up to 5. Whoohoo! is absolutely correct. From beginning to end the experience was one of the best that I've had here in the PNW. In saying that, though, I'll practice some restraint in my review, as I feel experiencing the Corson Building for the first time is part of the allure. What I will share is the space is beyond charming, starting at the gated entrance, continued through the garden, and finally, into the building itself. I would suggest showing up a little before your res' and exploring/enjoying the grounds. Finally, I would implore you to poke around and explore regardless to if you showed up early or on time; There are a number of details that are fun to discover in and around the building. The food is uber seasonal, more accurately, it's whatever the chef found at the market and has been inspired to prepare for you and your new friends. Your new friends, yes, you'll be making new friends. It's family style serving, so when you finally sit down to dine, be sure to introduce yourself to your fellow dinning companions. It's really a great way to meet knew people, imo... after all, you were all drawn to the Corson Building for similar reasons! Finally, the staff and service is simply fantastic. Everyone is friendly and very helpful with answering any questions you might have about the food. Oh! Also, if you have dietary restrictions, for whatever the reason, let them know in advance and the kitchen seems to be more than happy to accommodate your needs. read more
