We came here a second time the other day with friends for brunch. I had the eggs with veggies mixed in, super good. All their food here is delicious. My hubby is really into their fries, lol. Our friends have been coming here a long time and now this is kind of a thing we might start doing now here with them. Great place. We have been here a few times and each time it has been great. The staff have always been friendly, there are no kids allowed, and the food is excellent. If you like biscuits and gravy, I highly recommend trying them here. I usually gauge a place by that and it meets the mark for sure. I have also done the shrimp and grits, love it. Overall, you can't really go wrong with the food here. Portions are as you would hope. We went here as first timers. We were waiting to be seated and observing. We were to turned off by the behavior of the server who was the old lady with dark hair. The table close to us had some issues with their order, she put on a fake smile and rolled her eyes as she walked away. The guests then had to go fetch their own pancakes and was clearly irritated. We then witnessed the same sever making snarky remarks to the hostess as she was trying to seat guests. Witnessing such horrible customer service and open behavior was enough for me to walk away, but couple that with the food was taking forever to come out, thus we were waiting and waiting to be seated. We showed up right as they opened after we landed at SeaTac. We were the second party there, but the restaurant filled pretty quickly for a Monday morning. The restaurant is on the smaller size so service was pretty quick. We got the chicken fried steak and the brisket omelet to split. My husband wasn't a fan of the spicy hash browns (he's just not a fan of spicy food in general), but I thought they were a tasty addition to what is usually my least favorite part of any breakfast dish. I went here in a party of 5 to a full house and a somewhat packed and growing waitlist at 10am on a Sunday. Parking is very rough around the area; you'd be parking on the side of the street on rocks a little far out or using their very tiny and missable parking lot. As for the menu, they have many traditional breakfast foods with some twists. Our server was very attentive to everyone in my party and got more than enough water and coffee for us to enjoy. I got the brisket omelet, which had braised beef rolled up into an egg along with some cheese, and came with a side of toast and hash browns. The beef was definitely a weird part to the dish; I thought it tasted a little sweet when I had it, but that was probably the sour cream and onion. The many tastes worked out though, and I found myself enjoying every part of the dish and finishing everything. Hash browns came apart very easily and were piping hot compared to the rest of the dish. This place is for those 21+ only, so they do check your IDs before you dine in. I have recently been on the Shoreline to airport route many times. Picking people up, dropping them off. I miss them all. It is a measure of sadness that I come here. I am seeking to alleviate my sadness by drowning in carbohydrates. Breakfast is king here, so nice for my early morning drop offs. I'm bleary eyed and crying from missing my loved ones. I order the brisket omelet first. "Braised until fork tender, our beef brisket gets paired with cheddar cheese then rolled up inside a gigantic omelet. We finish it off with sour cream and crispy onions. This is an amazing dish, so many flavors in a tender egg shell. Served with crispy hash browns and toast." I feel some sadness abide. I love grits, so have to order these, with Hempler ham. Nothing better than grits and ham to make you feel better. Had to get the biscuit and sausage gravy too. The biscuits with gravy made me dry some of my tears, with the flakiness of the biscuit and the heartiness of the sausage gravy. From now on, I will commiserate my sadness at dropping off my loved ones here. The excellent food soothes my sad soul. I will look forward to any airport drop off, if I can come here afterwards. I got one of the specials and I'm not sure if it was overcooked, or what. But it was so dry, crunchy in a bad way, and the only flavour was salty. Hudson is located right on a major street heading down to Seattle. We stopped by for brunch today and it was delicious. The 6 of us all ordered something different and we were happy with our orders. We really enjoyed our meal here!! We arrived on a chilly, chilly Sunday after a 5k race. We came right at opening, and people were outside waiting. Boy, did it fill up fast, so I think it really speaks to the hotness of it all! We started with a round of breakfast Margaritas, which was delicious and went down too quick. I ate on the lighter side, so ordered the Early Bird breakfast sandwich. Hubs ate the usual, chicken fried steak, which was served with shredded hashbrowns, eggs & toast. I don't think I've ever had breakfast at a bar (and literally at the bar) until this morning. Cool concept of it being a breakfast and lunch only bar. We sat right at the head of the wrap around bar for the full experience of course. Friendly servers. My friend liked the seasonal cranberry Moscow mule. The presentation of the food was great, the toast even looked flawless. The service was amazing. It was busy on a Sunday morning so the servers were going a mile a minute and still had the most positive attitude. I love the concept of self serve coffee bar at the reception so you can enjoy a cup whilst you wait then can take it to your table and continue enjoying your coffee. Our server was a star. I forgot his name. He came to check up on us from time to time and did a great job keeping up with the crowd. The drinks are priced reasonably and tasted yummy with a punch. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and so glad I did! The biscuits and gravy had a sausage gravy, different gravy than the chicken fried steak. I preferred the chicken fried steak gravy. I ordered a Bloody Mary and was surprised when it showed up with a "shorty" bottle of Miller Highlife. When I asked the waitress about it, I was informed that it comes with the bloody "as a backup...". OK then. I ordered the Huevos rancheros. It was very good and came with a side of hash browns. It's been a minute since we've pilgrimaged to this excellent 21+ brunch establishment. On a busy Sunday, the staff was still cool and accommodating, despite being pretty slammed. It didn't disappoint despite a long wait (for 5top) it's easier if you're looking for seats at the bar or the smaller tables. It's just not a very large space. Hipster precious Rugrats do not need mimosa brunch, lol it's so great its 21+ only here! My husband and I love to order the spicy bloody Mary that comes with the Shorty beer. Great little place over in SODO! Went today for lunch with friends, and had a coffee and the shrimp po boy with grits. The grits were good (I'm from the south so it's hard to top my own grits from home, but it's the first place in the West where they've been done well) but the star was the shrimp po boy. Remoulade was perfectly spicy, shrimp were friend to perfection, and it was just genuinely done so well. Service was great for a busy Thursday lunch crowd, too! Fantastic spot! read more

Amazing food, great ambiance, and great service! We've had the pleasure of having Morgan serve us both times we've come here and she is just a doll. Probably one of the most unique bloody Mary's I've ever had in my life but man it was delicious and perfect on the spice. Fish sandwich was excellent fried cod, 2 pieces of fish perfectly cooked, the tarter sauce was excellent. The fries were fresh cut (not frozen), and I got a side of ranch, which also was outstanding and homemade too. When the sauces are that good, the rest is obvious... parking is easy, casual sort of bar/diner-ish atmosphere, clean bathrooms, it's a small place so you might have to wait, food comes out fast, everyone's is very friendly, prices are good. What wasn't to like. The food: We ordered the SODO and the Brisket Omelette. Both were amazing. It was so much food and such great food. You will not leave hungry or unsatisfied! The Ambiance: The music was bop after bop and not too loud. It was warm without being too hot. And super clean. We were right by the door. The Service: Flower was amazing, the bartender as well. You can tell it is a real team. Flower went above and beyond almost as if they were psychic to what we needed, bringing things to the table before we even needed to ask. So glad Hudson reopened post-pandemic! This is one of my go-to brunch spots when meeting up with friends who live downtown since it's a good halfway point for me. There's street parking and also a lot next door. Not 100% sure if the lot is open for public parking but I've parked there when street parking was full and had no issue. My favorite is the brisket omelette but all the food I've tried has been good. Portions are pretty big. They have a bar inside so you can get cocktails as well. For being in a random place away from anything really functional, this tavern has really great breakfast. We came at opening on a Sunday and there were people lined up waiting for the doors to open. We got seated and given menus straight away, and were enjoying watching the staff interact with the regulars in such a friendly fashion. Our reception was lukewarm, but it was fine for us. We ordered the Bowl of Grits and Francesca Scramble, and neither of us were disappointed. Both dishes had us all but licking the dishes clean. It was so delicious. Just don't bother with the toast, it was basically a cracker that is intended only to be smothered in jelly. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes which was awesome! read more

Parking down right stinks. Service was quick and they kept our waters and coffee full throughout our visit. I thought the breading on the Chicken Fried Steak was crispy. I want you all to know I love salt (and if you don't, I may give you an awkward glance out of the corner of my eye), but the eggs, gravy, and Chicken Fried Steak were all very salty. Atmosphere is cozy, but relaxed. The location appears to draw a more middle-aged crowd than the downtown places (which I prefer). The staff was very attentive even with being short staffed.
