I've been in and had the bug shrimp plate. I've had it delivered several times. The last 2 times it was delivered the shrimp was peel and eat style. It's always had the tail on but never full on peel. Even their photos show shrimp with no peel on them. read more

Fried Fish and Shrimp loved the breading. The meal was very filling and had leftovers for the next day. Really liked the service and how they walked us through the menu since it was our first time. Can't wait to try one of the boils. Two similar meals with an added tea spent less than $45. It has seating for inside dinning. There is sooooo much butter used in these plates. It's over whelming. Maybe people really love that much, but it was not a great experience for us. Wasn't a big fan of the young girl spraying the table with cleaner next to us while we ate. You could see it flying in the air next to us. I imagine we got some on our food too. read more

Google and Yelp reviews lead me here in search of good catfish and it did not disappoint. When I arrived I was very warmly greeted and the young lady explained their menu and specials since it was my first time there. I ended up ordering the fried catfish and shrimp combo with waffle fries. The catfish was well seasoned hot and delicious. I enjoyed it all but the fish was the star. Our first time here and we had the boil for 2. Spicy and bayou. Delicious. Only knocking a star for 2 reasons. 1. No PPE - I mean at least give me gloves. I guess I'll bring them from home next time because it was that good and less expensive than the others. 2. No crawfish option in the boil. Mercedes G was a lovely breath of fresh air. Great service. And now... The next candidate for restaurant impossible or kitchen nightmares! arrived at 6:30pm and placed our order for two, two catfish baskets, one with shrimp one with corn on the cob. The attached picture shows first, the order was half delivered to the table after 43 minutes, and then the rest of the food was brought at 48 minutes!!! Two fried fish baskets took that long to get to the table?!?!? HIRE AN EXPEDITER!!! Their job is to stay on the kitchen and make sure the tickets are worked start to finish, NOT PIECEMEAL!!! And if your the manager, and you see your restaurant getting busy, get off the ladder outside, get inside and EXPEDITE the tickets, get FOOD TO THE TABLES!!! Lots of people around us couldn't believe just how bad the service was. We all at one point (5 tables) we're looking and pointing at one another as to "what is going on?" Was the food good? Went for lunch. Several suggestions: Floors needed a good cleaning. Shrimp was overpowered by the crust which was removed. The shrimp was actually plump and very good without it. Prices on menu don't line up with what they charge you And also you pay extra for butter and seasoning. Yes they give you a lot of food but it's HORRIBLE!!! I've never preferred Quantity over Quality. The butter in fact was flavorless oil that leaves an after taste. The daiquiri was water down slushie. My husband ask the young lady at the bar for a michelob she asked what's that, he told her a beer.... her response "oh I'm not an alcoholic". Just don't waste your time.. Ya order at the counter and the menu is located on the wall. We didn't noticed but you pay xtra for the spicy butter seasoning and the mix dry seasoning as well, another way to milk the customer. Wife and I shared a combo boil with extra cluster of crab to the order and again they charged us for extra seasoning instead of adding to the combo--makes no sense. The sausage is whole sausage and was good, the shrimp was clean and already peeled. The crabs were cooked properly and not water soggy, crisp to break with sweet crab meat. I like that most platters come with 2 clusters. They feature to massive seafood boil menu & fried foods menu! I have been 6 times now & time to update my review! I like the butter sauces on the side. The lobster is juicy and great. I like that its split I feel you don't get all the butter seasoning flavors if you stack your flavors. So know that regular butter and a side of lemon juice will make a good dipping sauce. Any of the other seasonings are .79 each and are dry rub seasoning and not mixed in with the butter. The fish has to be fried crispy for me. I am a texture person. They use a high grade of Swai (catfish cousin or Asian fish) it's not 100% catfish. A lot of Oklahoman like 100% Catfish. But when fried crispy and hot crab and Catfish does a good job cooking it for what it is! They have great prices and the portion of food are great and very sharable. I enjoyed the week of crab pieces for $15.99 a pound. I love crab legs and didn't mind the broken up claws. I love the fried okra and the sweet potato waffle fries are great ! I like the $39 platter two catfish (swai) Two crab cluster and sides is a great bang for your buck. I love the soft small nugget ice Yes it matters to us ice lovers. Can't wait to try the frozen drinks whenever they get them. Oh the funnel cake fries are OK. Some server's are more attentive to guest than others. We live close by and have been wanting to try this place. Seafood options in this area are limited. The food was absolutely amazing. We got a boil as well as a catfish basket. The catfish was cooked well, very seasoned, and didn't taste muddy at all. The boil was very rich and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend based on food alone. However, while the service was friendly, it was clear they were overwhelmed. Our order came out missing an item. I viewed the receipt and realized it was never rung out. Just as much my mistake for not checking. However, the item that was rung up the first time came out missing half of the food from it. Another person in our party was also missing food. That said, they corrected course and brought us our missing food. We will be back! read more
