Huge parking lot in the front, saloon like on the inside with bar on the side and booths lining the walls and tables in the center. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Raw oysters were fresh. Had to ask for salt each time. They're not on any of the tables and the servers don't automatically bring them unless you ask. Their Crawfish Etouffee is amazing. You can taste cajun heaven. Had it for lunch and went back the next day to get the dinner portion. I like to add a few dashes of tabasco sauce for that extra spiciness. The Fried Oyster was just okay. Have had better. The batter was in bits and falling on some parts. Didn't feel like they were cooked properly or something.

Seated and greeted quickly upon arrival. Drinks took sooo long but at least we had water. Place seemed clean and well lit. Appetizer was just okay. Entrees tasted pretty good! When the drinks got to us they tasted great!

Came for Happy Hour on a Friday. Lots of bar seats or tables available. They have a special on the pig chips, oysters, and shrimp and of course half off the bourbon flights which is the best deal!

Ambiance is incredible. Service was impeccable. I believe his name was Matt. Ask for the guy that looks like Lou diamond phillips. I had the coconut shrimp and it was awesome. My fries were Luke warm at the most and cold by the time I was through 3 shrimps. Hubby had the prime rib and lobster and he said it was great!! Mash potatoes had the same problem as the French fries. Bread was delicious, but my coleslaw was a Nono! Too much dill and dry. Hush puppies were good, spicy. Would I go back you ask? Yep!! Just for the shrimp!!

Trappers Fish Camp is one of my favorite restaurants, the food is always fresh delicious with an excellent presentation. I love the fried onions on the house salad with their delicious blue cheese dressing. I ordered the whole chicken, which is a small chicken marinated for 24 hours and Cajun deep-fried - the skin was crispy flavorful and the chicken was juicy and very delicious. My hubby ordered the Cuban sandwich - pork roast, andouille sausage, pepper jack cheese, sliced pickles, mustard on a grilled hoagie. The prime rib with crawfish andouille was delicious as was the gator and tilapia. The blackened chicken pasta was also a big head very flavorful. The hostess was not friendly, but our server made up for it - Excellent service.

The food was good , the service was amazing. I'd comeback and try their pasta . The coconut shrimp dinner was my favorite. The place is nice and clean . Good spot for lunch

Great customer service. Great food but I think portion size has gotten smaller. However the taste is great!

If you want the BESTS Prime Rib in OKC, then you need to get to Trappers!!! The chef KNOWS how to cook. On Tuesdays they have a special on oysters on the half shell All day!!

Wow - this place is truly an experience and I can't believe I had no idea it existed here in OKC! As soon as you enter you see stuffed bears, deer heads, fishing boats and trouts on the wall - a lot of cool decorations that creates a magic hunting and fishing expedition atmosphere. The food is also excellent - a wide array of different seafood plus prime rib selections - healthy ones too, like their Hawaiian mahi mahi with a light lemon seasoning and grilled vegetables; you can also order other side dishes like mushrooms and broccoli. Excellent service as well - and other hot sauces like Cholula available upon request. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was very pleasant. The servers were very friendly. The food was delicious, but it was a bit too salty. Overall, it was good.

This was a cool looking restaurant to be in-lots off stuffed stuff including a shark (yep). Seriously I liked the inside, it was fun like a beach restaurant with their kickbacks is. The service was excellent and our waiter was very helpful to me! The food was ok. I had a fish dinner. I would probably take a visitor there for the fun of the restaurant, not necessarily for the food although to be clear it was not bad. 7/10?

Trappers is like a warm Cajun hug, one of the most consistent restaurants I've visited. Super relaxed and comfortable vibe, a come as you are kind of place. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and the place was hopping, and so was our waiter. Even though he was responsible for a very large party along with our 4-top, our service did not suffer. We started with fried gator bites and each picked seafood--the Okie Ponchartrain with fried catfish served over spicy crawfish etouffe for him and gilled rainbow trout over dirty rice for me. Both also came with a garden salad which means they also came with a box because it was more than we could finish! Pro tip: always ask for extra remoulade!

Trappers has been around for a long time, but I haven't been there in over 10 years. Tonight's meal was outstanding! We started our evening with a perfectly prepared old-fashioned and the alligator app. I wasn't in the mood for pasta but the crab topped salmon sounded good. I subbed out the linguine for green chile grits - it was a weird it delicious combo. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the grits were delightfully spicy. My husband really enjoyed the Cajun pasta. The service was good and the music and rustic decor were very enjoyable. We will be back.

This was the best meal I've had in OKC in a very long time…read more My wife and I did a little date night. The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside--just a tiny little white and blue building. Sitting right off 10th, parking is tight as well. Inside isn't fancy, but that's my vibe. There is an outdoor patio I didn't get to check out, but the road noise from 10th is pretty noticeable even inside. Overall the atmosphere feels small town coastal, local, and not pretentious, but does suffer slightly from its location. Service was friendly, and paced as expected for fine dining. Honestly, it's refreshing to not feel rushed at a dinner service. We enjoyed our conversation over a bottle off their (small) wine list instead. We ordered the spring pre fix and it was just ALL hits, no misses. I wrinkled my nose at the menu a bit because I don't particularly love fennel or mint or lamb or hell even salmon but I I have been converted. The food was amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. The bread...the bread was the best bread starter I've tried. My wife hates oysters and loved the oyster (she tries everything cos she's not a child). The gnocchi was pillowy soft and amazing, not gummy or dense or mushy. The asparagus?! Amaze amaze amaze. 5 perfect courses (6 if you count the 2x different items for the table) for $77 a person?!?! Yes. We're going back asap.

From local food critic Jared Gleaton Eats full critique…read more Atmosphere and Hospitality: The atmosphere at Sedalia's feels less like a polished coastal seafood house and more like the hidden gem tucked behind a bustling boardwalk fishing restaurant--the kind locals quietly point you toward. We were greeted by Silvana, who warmly led us to our table while Becky guided the service throughout the evening. Plates were seamlessly swapped, water glasses never sat empty, and Becky demonstrated an impressive command of the menu and preparations. Throughout the meal, Zack and members of the kitchen team delivered several dishes themselves, describing each course in detail and offering a small but genuine slice of coastal hospitality. Food: Baked oyster, kent blanc, smoked trout roe, chive breadcrumbs ($35 1/2 Dozen) The dinner opens with a borderline transcendent bite of baked oyster, beautifully balanced and cooked to perfection, singing across the palate. A rich beurre blanc pairs seamlessly with the briny oyster while bursts of smoked trout roe punctuate each bite. The breadcrumbs on the back end provide just enough contrast in texture to round out an immaculate first course. Grilled focaccia for the table, salt cod butter, Szechuan oil, lime, chive, pecorino, balsamic ($15) The grilled focaccia is thick, fluffy, and fantastic. Notes of rich, airy bread give way to salty, buttery layers from the cod butter before finishing with subtle hints of char and acidity from the accompaniments. Barramundi tartare, kumquat, masa nachos, serrano & ancho chilies, spinach ($17) An excellent preparation, the tartare rests atop a thick masa nacho. The barramundi is soft yet slightly firm, its delicate flavor profile lifted by bright notes of kumquat and a subtle heat creeping through the back end from the serrano. Beef tongue anticuchos & la huancaína ($20) The tongue is beautifully prepared--tender with just enough structure. The anticuchos seasoning and huancaína sauce add a nutty, earthy depth that bursts across the palate with each bite. Duck confit pecorino crumble, pappardelle, alubia blanca beans, pecorino ($26) An absolutely beautiful layered dish. The rich duck confit is soft and rich with strong initial notes of pecorino giving way to middle notes of duck and end notes of tomato. Though presented in a tomato based pasta the addition of alubia blanca beans creates a creamy texture that surprises the palate, transforming what appears to be a brothy preparation into something far richer and more complex. Crispy fried hake, mojo rojo, aioli, potato ($23) A thoughtful take on fish and chips. The hake is fried perfectly, with an excellent fish-to-batter ratio. The aioli provides a creamy counterpoint while the mojo rojo adds depth and warmth. Grilled tuna collar with beurre blanc sauce (Special) This special was absolutely stunning and one of the finest bites of 2026. The rich, fatty tuna cheek is tempered beautifully by the creamy, tangy beurre blanc and fragrant tarragon. Each element complements the other, creating a layered, indulgent bite that borders on perfection. Potatoes a la huancaína, ají amarillo, sorghum, olive ($14) This course pushes firmly into transcendent territory. The soft layers of potato are draped in an ethereal ají amarillo sauce that delivers gentle heat while coating the palate in luxurious flavor. Each bite teases you into the next. Honey semifreddo, pomegranate molasses, meringue, citrus ($14) A triumphant end to the evening. The honey semifreddo melts effortlessly on the palate, cleansing and refreshing before giving way to the deeper sweetness of pomegranate molasses and delicate notes of meringue and citrus. A beautifully balanced and borderline transcendent finale.

Ambiance: Very loud live music and chaotic in general. More chaotic than a standard Mexican restaurant. One visit, tacos were being cooked outside on a Santa Maria style grill. Food: Birria Tacos are the best thing on the menu. Cheesy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Topped with cilantro and wonderful consommé. The white sauce is a great addition as well as the green sauce. The Pin Wheels are not the best for the salsa. The salsa is mediocre and also spicy. The Surf and Turf Quesadillas are cheesy and packed with meat. The same meal as a burrito is good, but not preferred over the quesadillas. The Ceviche is out of this world. A heaping portion of perfectly citrus and not too fishy. The only meal that was not good was the Marlin Quesadilla. It was too fishy and tasted like fishy BBQ.

My drink (Pineapple Martini) was delicious. My food was just okay. There were a lot of cons: 1. The front staff could've been a lot more welcoming. & Service was kind of slow. But I understand that it was Valentine's Day, so I'll give them grace. However, we had to ask for napkins and utensils twice. We couldn't eat our food and had to wait a few minutes until we had to ask the waitress who brought us our food to bring us some. More on her later. 2. I've had New Orleans food in New Orleans. Nothing compares to the real deal. This was honestly not what I expected. But this is also in Oklahoma, so I can't expect much. My food was a bit bland. However, it was still good. Just not "WOW". 3. The second waitress or whoever it was that brought our food to us (not Morgan). She also was a brunette with her hair curled. Listen, I am not an insecure woman. It's very annoying that I have to even call this out. Because there has to be boundaries and respect when you work in the service industry, you know? At least that's what I was taught when I used to work in the industry. My husband also noticed her vibe and mentioned to me that he felt uncomfortable. I felt invisible because every time she came to our table, she had her entire back towards me and was OVERLY nice to my husband. The first time I was like "not serious at all". This girl did it 3x. Literally only acknowledged my husband. When she placed his food in front of him and when she came back with our utensils it was quite obvious she was being flirtatious. Like OBVIOUS. The disrespect. On Valentine's Day too, when there are couples dining and celebrating the day. Wild. Our actual waitress was very professional. The other one? Not so much. I honestly don't think we'll ever return to this restaurant when we visit.
