The neighborhood craft brewery takes on a whole new feel and meaning with The Craftroom. First time to opt for a Cider instead of a local brew. The Craftroom has a really good selection. Bartender walked me through a mini tasting to find a taste I liked; I landed on the Pear Cider. Outstanding! The pizza was good and very affordable. They also have a "build your own" CRAFT sandwich menu that looks really good. Lorenzo, one of the owners, took me on a tour of their brewery and told me about their Las Vegas (NM) roots. Ciders are excellent but it's hard to get past the attitude of the servers. Had to ask where my salad was after everyone at my table got their food yet I had ordered at the counter before everyone else. Server told me, "I'm sure it will be ready soon" not without a bit of attitude. Took 10 more minutes to get a very plain salad. Nothing to cook so I'm guessing she never put my order in. When I finally did get it I didn't see the turkey or toppings. I asked and was rudely informed that it was on the bottom???! Never had an upside down salad where all the toppings were under the lettuce. My friend and I enjoyed the beer and cider, too bad the staff doesn't care about customer service. First time checking this place out. I admit I thought it would be bigger but luckily it wasn't too busy when my dad and I arrived. Our server was very friendly and got us our drinks promptly. I was a little disappointed that they didn't offer a selection of their own brews. Our server mentioned all they had of their own was mainly ciders. I am not much of a cider kinda guy unfortunately so that was disappointing. On the bright side they had my favorite Santa Fe Brewing 7K IPA. They offered a good selection of brews from other local breweries so at least they had that. The atmosphere was pretty relaxing. If I hadn't have eaten that big ol fatburger burger I could've had a second beer but I was so full I ended up taking awhile to finish my 7K. If you like cider, there are more than enough to choose from. If you don't, there's still plenty of beer. The food is light-years beyond what is was when they first opened. I always get their tacos, some opt for sandwiches, and some go for a pizza. Though the pizza gets mixed reviews. Apparently that may depend on the toppings choice. If you think the queso & chips is pricey, notice that they are also unlimited. Great for a large table. Though the queso could use a kick. Luckily if you throw some of the salsa in there, it's just about right. The one thing I'd say it needs is better air conditioning. Last Wednesday there was rather uncomfortable. The place was welcoming and offered outside seating which is good if you have kids!! That's exactly where my kid wanted to sit. The staff was on point and got our order going right away, and they had a decent amount of people already there. Their gluten-free pizza was good and filled me up, which is highly odd. It could have been the combination of the cider's peach, and Sandia were my favorites. Then I mixed them and wow and was the perfect mixture of sweet and tart. The place is so open-minded they allowed me to have a half and half growler with no judgment!!! The other great thing about it is you can through axes, and there a smash room right by. We came here right after the opening, and boy was it crowded. The location is relatively easy to find, had both indoor/outdoor seating, and large windows to view the monsoon thunderstorms from. My cousin's band was playing that night and his sister (my other cousin) wanted to have her birthday party here on the same night. At the time, I don't think the kitchen had started up yet, so there were a few food trucks outside. It was a little loud and a little dark, but we had a great time. My uncle had gotten a sampler with a few beers and ciders, one of them being the "sandia". Now I'm not much of a beer drinker, but it was sweet and tasted very much so like watermelon. My sister found this place when looking for a new place to try for a tasting, knowing that I do not like beer, but I do like ciders. I was very happy when she found the Craftroom. After a short discussion, we decided to each get a flight which then allowed us to get one of just about everything. That is teamwork! Honestly, I like everything. There was a cherry based on that was probably my favorite. There was a pumpkin cider which was honestly the best pumpkin cider I have tried. Luckily, there were some food options. It is not fancy, but it is quick and it was nice to be able to get some food. We shared some nachos and they were ok. We weren't there for the food though. I've been going to Craftroom since it opened. It's a nice place to go on a Friday after work to unwind from the long week. I don't care much for beer so when this cidery opened I was so happy . There are usually at least 8 ciders on tap and they rotate frequently. Recently they added the Hempberry with CBD and it's amazing. Sometimes service is slow but the staff are polite, the drinks and food are good. I like how they also let you try whatever mixes they suggest and sample the drinks before you buy a pint. When I heard that there was a spot serving up local ciders I was pretty excited. Really excited. Too excited. The Craftroom simply falls flat. The cider is super sweet, especially when you veer away from the classics. The cherry cider makes your teeth hurt and the watermelon cider tastes like you melted a bag of Jolly Ranchers into a pint glass. Obviously these options are not for me. There are a number of local beers which offer a departure from the saccharin-sweet cider. The servers weren't particularly friendly and bordered on hostile. The space was fine but nothing special - typical industrial park, cement floors, simple decor, bar seats and a few tables, several TVs. The food menu is a bit amiss. I support watering holes that don't serve food - that's perfectly fine. I appreciate those who can pull off delicious beverages and full menu - all in one! But I'm struggling to understand the gray area of the Craftroom which offers some loudly branded Boars Head sandwiches and a few other packaged odds and ends (You know that cheese from your high school football stadium concession stand? They have it). The bottom line: Super sweet cider. Some local brews that you could get elsewhere. And some food that is best left forgotten. read more

Found this place by googling "cidery" and saw they had a ton of ciders as well as beers. I called to ask about their Gluten Free food selection and I was told there was some stuff, so off we went. Great selection of ciders and they were all delicious. I asked where the apples were sourced from and they didn't know offhand, but had to find out. Come to find out they are from Washington( my hometown!) explains why the cider was so good. I had tacos with the brisket ( do yourself a favor and try it , omg it was amazing) and the stuffed criminology mushroom caps. Deeeeeelishus!!!! Nice place, good service, legit food. I.LOVE.THE.CRAFTROOM! They are by far my favorite brewery in town. If I could give them 10/10 stars I would!! I'm a regular here & have been for years with my boyfriend, friends, and anyone else willing to join me! I'm allergic to gluten and it's hard to find places to accommodate - but The Craftroom has made it a safe space!! They offer a wide variety of ciders to enjoy, along with gluten free bread for their sandwich options, and gluten free crust for their pizza selections! I usually get a flight because it's hard to choose just 1 cider they're all SO good (we even have 2 growlers for the house lol). My favorite of their pizzas is the Burque Turkey Pie on gluten free crust - an Albuquerque classic, love me that green chile! Tonight I tried their new addition, the Monte Cristo Sandwich with gluten free bread with a side Cesar Salad with candy nuts instead of croutons to make it gluten free! & WOW was I impressed. That sandwich hit the spot, I loved it so much & can't wait to order it again soon! Not to mention everything here is reasonably priced / affordable. Plus you can't beat the inviting, friendly, chill atmosphere. I also love how they've redone the inside with a modern look & I'm OBSESSED with all the plants everywhere!! What a great little local brew pub! Smack dab next to the AX ABQ where you can throw axes and be awesome. I had the Hefen... it was okay, but my group really enjoyed the ciders available. Samples are available if you have commitment issues. We also enjoyed some pizza. The 505 was the perfect meal after throwing axes and having a beer with friends. The service was phenomenal AND they offer a Yelp checkin offer of 20%. That's always a great surprise when business values patron opinions and feedback. Came to have dinner and try some cider. Ordered the flight of ciders. Very different cider as it is made with honey. Everything was good and tasty. Also had a sample of their Double Belgium and the Chocolate Stout beer. I'm not a big stout drinker and I throughly enjoyed it. The Double Belgium would be great on a hot day. We ordered the Burque Turkey, the Dagwood and the Craft Club sandwiches. All were ordered with green chile bread (must have!!!) and chips. Atmosphere is pretty chill and good music. Very enjoyable time... we were in ABQ on business and made a stop in to take advantage of a Groupon. The staff were very knowledge about the beverages and quite attentive. We had a taste flight and a pint each- very wide range of dryness and sweetness. The publike snacks were a bit of a miss... we ordered an enticingly beautifully pictured pretzel only to have it be delivered to the table 2-3 weeks after it had been cooked originally and reheated several times and the homemade salsa was prepared by Costco the Chef... So if you go read my old review things did not go well... that said I'd heard they drastically improved the place since my original visit and within the first 5 minutes I was already impressed. Both of the barstaff came to my table to see if I needed anything and Sean was particularly helpful and friendly. 7 bucks for unlimited (limitless) chips cheese and salsa is amazing and the Hawaiian pizza was delicious. Wednesday is/was a weird craft club and almost all the tables were reserved but I was able to get a table for the four in my party. The only issue I had was the music kept getting turned up, it started out fine but it progressively got louder and louder until we could no longer hear our server or the people at our table... the volume would get turned down then someone would go turn it back up. management needs to decide of they're going for a quaint cider house where people can drink and chill or if they're trying to run a dance club. if the music had stayed at a reasonable level I'd have given the place a 5... still a 4 is a vast improvement over my first visit. kudos Sean and Julian (nice meeting you and hope I spelled your names correctly) read more

This was our only visit here. They have a good selection of both ciders and beers. The staff were attentive and the energy of the place was relaxed. We also had a gluten free crust on our pizza and it was quite good. Often gf crust can taste like cardboard- but this was actually quite nice. The Craftroom and its wide variety of ciders was the place for me. I've matured since then, but still absolutely love The Craftroom for when I want a delicious cider and some awesome and cheap snacks. Two weeks ago they were doing a different flavor of cider each day of the week. As soon as I saw "lavender cider", I knew where I had to go right after work. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was easily the best cider I've ever had; I'm really bummed that it was only for one day, so here's to hoping that they bring it back. We went to The Craftroom for the first time Saturday night! I was VERY impressed. When we walked in it was packed and I thought it was going to take a while to get food or beer, but I was WRONG! We walked up to the side counter (and ended up finding a table) and we were able to order, start a tab and get seated immediately! I was super hungry so I ordered the limitless chips and salsa/quest and the burque turkey and my boyfriend got the pretzel and a beer. All the food was amazing and we got it within 5-10 min of ordering it!! Also... if you check out The Battle Axe Room next door first, you get $1 off a pint when you book an hour (which is totally fun and worth the $20). I must the food has improved over the last year including new menu items, such as the pizza. The pizza dough is made in house and was tasty. I would come back for the pizza. The BBQ Bacon with BBQ sauce was my husband first choice, I resisted. I must say the combination of bacon, cheese and BBQ was a unique flavor. The staff was friendly and gave helpful recommendations. I am not a cider fan but found the Eldorado IPA a great addition to the ciders they offer. Now if you LOVE ciders, stop here. The Craftroom has the most ciders with so many flavors watermelon, pineapple & pear flavors and these are only the ones I remembered. If you are looking for a bold red or man's IPA skip this brewery. Great place for date night take them next door to "Hit or Miss" for an archery practice. (They rent bows by the hour) Then take them next door for a cider and pizza. Major brownie points! read more
