Their food was good. The pizza was very filling. Fried fish was really good. And you have to try the cheese curds

Located 1.6 miles off I-10 In Anahuac sits The Crawfish Place. As soon as your foot steps inside you're greeted with genuine "Hey Yall"s and "Welcome in"s by the staff. The decor is laid back sports bar with elegant rustic designs in the restrooms. Neon signs decorate the walls along with multiple TVs playing different sports from drag racing, water sports, football and more. Very family friendly environment during the day. At night I can tell it's a relaxed feel with lots of indoor and outdoor seating and pool tables. They offer a good variety of beers on tap from domestics to IPAs. When coming to eat make sure you come hungry and ready for a to go box. My burger was almost a full pound cooked to perfection. It was piled high with all "the fixins", and I opted to add bacon and fried egg to mine. They definitely don't skimp on the bacon! I got mine served with hush puppies that had just the right amount of seasoning without being overly spicy. The staff, the atmosphere and food make The Crawfish Shack one of those places you come back to time and time again.

Had the pimpin burger, it wasn't bad at all, I asked for medium and the patty was more well done so that sucked but besides that everything was good and portion was more then enough. The service was great and the place looked clean and sanitary. They do charge a 3% fee for using card which is a little absurd since we're in a day and age where people hardly carry cash. Would've been a 5 star if the burger was cooked right but besides that would come back again.

Exceptional catfish light fluffy perfect. Staff extremely attentive. Had cheese curds for 1st time and loved. From NH and enjoyed TX hospitality. Even the side salad was incredible with boiled egg and the homemade ranch dressing was the best

I don't mind paying $18.00 for a dinner when I get my money's worth but this is the second time and last that they overcharge me for small portions!! I suggest not going here if you want your money's worth

What an excellent dive not far from the 10. From the outside, this would not have been a place I typically would have tried. Seriously, I sat outside and debated going into the older rundown building. I am so glad I did. We had fried crawfish and blackened shrimp that was excellent. We had tons of nicely seasoned appetizers. The fried green beans were great. There were lots of locals and many local beers on draft. While there is no ambiance in the bar/restaurant, check out the bathrooms. Both the women's and men's have different styles and if the restaurant was taken care of as thoughtfully as the restrooms, it would be an upscale experience. If we ever find ourselves driving through again we would definitely stop.

I never would've expected to find food this good in Anahuac, especially for the prices! Huge selection of beers on tap and the staff is really helpful with trying to help you get a beer you'll like. The fried gator is some of the most tender I've ever had and tastes amazing too! Between our table we also had fried shrimp, fried catfish, blackened catfish, boudain balls, fried cheese curds, bacon wrapped jalapenos, and fried crawfish. Everything was delicious If you like it spicy, ask for a side of their Sriracha powder for your fries, onion rings, or anything else you want to give a little kick to.

Was not busy on a Wednesday morning 11:30 AM popped in and was greeted and seated immediately. The waiter took our drink order on the spot. We kept this first visit pretty simple wife got a cheeseburger, plain and dry as she always does with a side order of tater tots. I went with the old-fashioned cheeseburger all the way and added bacon, and my side order was the thin onion rings. Everything came out fantastic and fast. The tater tots were cooked exactly like I like super crispy. I rarely eat tater tots out because not every restaurant cooks them properly. The thin onion rings were fantastic. Had a very nice little flavor to the batter came out hot and crisp. What I like the most about the burgers were the buns. Almost a buttery texture to them and they did not fall apart like you get on some burgers. The wife got a strawberry shake to go, and it was insanely rich. It was a meal in itself. We will definitely be back again soon to go a little deeper into the menu. I hear that their chili dog is fantastic. That's what I'm gonna try next week. This is a great little family owned restaurant in the Friendswood Webster area. It's a gem for sure.

Nice surprise. After finding out that another Hispanic owned taco truck was closed (ICE raid?…read moreSelf-deported?) I went to Hughstons after reading Yelp reviews. I ordered 4 breakfast tacos, bacon, egg and cheese on flour. Most tacos You get Need heavy seasoning After you have picked them up but these All we're spot on with saltiness. The salsa was tomato forward which I like on a bt. The women inside who helped me with my TOGO order were polite and quick. The place is definitely filled with locals who like to fish early in the morning. The interior was very nice, plenty of seating in large tables. You cannot go wrong as I was looking at other plates coming out and everything was absolutely delicious. I was looking over their lunch and dinner menu In the thought of a blackened redfish po-boy for $16 sounded freaking delicious.

We arrived at 11:30 and were told it would be an hour wait for food due to a backlog of call in orders. They had 2 tables of 4 each inside - so call ins were overwhelming them. They ended up closing to walk ins not long after we got there so they could catch up. That was a good decision. Like I said, I think sometimes it takes a bit of time running a restaurant to get staffing and kitchen capacity balanced out. Anyway, food was excellent. Most of our table did breakfast (idk what the sausage brand is but everyone raved about it) and my SIL both ordered a BLT and split a side order of sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. Wait staff was excellent and working hard. We'd definitely come back for breakfast all day!

Anyways, this DQ is in the middle of nowhere, Anahuac, Texas. With the number of workers they have and the total population of this small town, you would think they would be a lot faster then these city DQ's I have been to, but no. I have been going to this location for years now and it has always been a wait. No matter what it is, you want a Blizzard, you want tacos, you want a Hunger Buster, you better sit your butt down and wait cause this is not fast food... (According to them it's "Fan Food not Fast Food" but c'mon, who are you guys kidding, its fast food.) If you are willing to spare time, then by all means pick a spot and sit your butt down. Their food is fatty and delicious. The workers are nice and smile but that doesn't excuse their slowness - but how can I be mad at them when they are nice and smile at me... Ugh! That's why I continue to go back, pick a spot, and sit my butt down. Oh, and of course for their famous, thick and creamy Blizzards.

There is outdoor seating but if you want to dine indoors, you are welcome to do so in the bagel shop even after the bagel shop closes at 2pm. We've been here twice and the first time we ate in the bagel shop (it was chilly outside). Nothing fancy. Nice and clean and a decent amount of seating. 2nd time, we took it to go. We ordered the "Brown Bag Special" (pic attached) both times which is only available from 2pm-5pm daily )believe they're closed on Sundays). It is only $10 and includes a single smash burger, a small fry, a chocolate chip cookie and a can of soda/fountain drink. Food: Let me tell you that this is one of my favorite burgers of all time. I got it with cheddar cheese, pickles, mustard and bbq sauce. Delicious! The fries and the cookie were also good. The first time I came, I opted for the fountain drink. I don't know if this was a one-off, but it was awful. Sickeningly sweet. I ended up throwing it away. Second time, I chose the canned soda (coke). This is one of the best values that I have encountered in a long time. I suggest that you eat it here. My to-go order was good but I really enjoyed it hot and fresh off the griddle. Full disclosure, when I got it to go, I did take it all the way back to the West End (about a 25 minute drive). I really recommend that you give this place a try. They have another a newer location on Broadway, but the reviews I read, prefers this location over the Broadway location. Service here was good and friendly.
