I decided to give this place another try and ordered a pound of shrimp with Boss Sauce (spicy), which comes with corn and sausage--a definite plus. I added potatoes, and also got sweet potato fries and wings. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The sauce was perfectly spicy and extra garlicky, the sweet potato fries were delicious, the wings were huge and super crispy, and the service was great and fast. I'm definitely coming back!

Don't come here if you're a saucy girl. Been coming here for quite some time, recently noticed the sauce doesn't suffice the amount of shrimp I order. This last order, I asked if they can add enough sauce since prior times there isn't enough. As I picked up, I noticed the sauce was still not enough for the 3 pounds I ordered. I asked if I can buy extra and I was denied. Not sure why they limit you on the sauce. Only complaint with this spot.

As a seafood boil fanatic, I have been wanting to taste test this place for some time now. Walking in it's not your average boiling crab / decorative ambience but don't let that fool you! The guy working cashier was super nice & they do have a lot of TVs around so it's perfect to watch live sports especially with all the drinks they have. Now as for the food, we ordered the Family Special #1 Company Cajun Sauce Extra Spicy lvl with a side of fried calamari. Now let me start by saying the amount of food we got was CRAZY they really stacked it up for a good price. The food itself was super delicious, well-cooked and seasoned. BE WARNED I loveee spicy things but the Extra Spicy had us all almost in tears!! I usually get that lvl at other seafood locations and can handle but this one was INSANEE. They really brought the heat so prepare yourselves on that one. I will DEF be going back but ordering the reg spicy one instead haha this is a good hidden seafood spot for sure!

My family frequently purchases the Family Special which perfectly feeds our household of 5! I called the establishment to ask about the sausage used, because it's such a savory burst of flavors in my mouth! I also wanted to inform them that the overall tray was exceptionally spicy! We've never had a problem with the level of heat before. Let's put it this way, our meal was not an enjoyable experience after five minutes we were sweating so much, we called it quits!! We even ordered a side of The Boss extra spicy sauce. Ohhhh no! That was mind blowingly I was told a new cook was trained. I advised his hand needs not be so heavy with the spices! I hope he gets those measurements correct for the next time we order. Look at their drawing! They clearly warned us

Shrimps were really mushy and literally fell apart between my fingers. I never had shrimp this bad before so I did some research. People say if the head on shrimps are not fresh it will get mushy. I never bought raw head on shrimps before so I don't know how old they have to be to get mushy... but I would hope a restaurant would know better not to let their shrimps get mushy and not to sell mushy shrimps... read more

Great food and kid friendly! We frequent some of the other Boiling Crab type restaurants, and this is my new favorite. Each bag comes with one ear of corn (which is always my favorite part) and 4 pieces of sausage so it's a better deal than the other places, and the mild cajun is just the right level of spice. I had 1/2 pound of shrimp that was fantastic. They have lots of flat screen tvs and kept one tuned to cartoons so my toddler was happy to hang out there as long as I wanted. read more

This place is one of my favorite places to take out or dine in. The staff is wonderful and even though they are always busy the are attentive and very polite. Everything is good there. I come here often and have never had a bad experience. The shrimp is amazing and so flavorful. The seasoned fries are a must. If you haven't been here and you live in the SF valley you are missing out. read more

Delicious and Affordable family specials for shrimp. I get the family special number one and it comes with 2lbs shrimp and slices of sausages. You have to get the Cajun spicy sauce and add three baby potatoes. read more

Soooooooo good!!! I have always been a huge fan of boiling crab. My favorite for years!!! But this is by far 10 times better. The owner is so kind and welcoming. No lines, self serve lemons, clean, spacious, excellent flavors, loads of TV mounted on the wall, ample parking, friendly staff, 3 lbs for $29.00 shrimp deal and it's in the valley!!!! What else can you ask for?!?!?!? This place is $$$$$$$$! Husband and Bestie in tow, we chowed down and forgot to take pictures. Definitely coming back for sure! read more

This place is excellent! The owner/s must have researched what patrons dislike (poor service, over cooked seafood, overpriced food etc) from this type of establishment and eliminated it from Crawfish Co. The prices are great, the service is excellent, the crab is steamed to perfection, the sauces are delicious and most importantly the place is very clean. A true gem in Sylmar! I'm thrilled that businesses like this one are coming to my city, thank you! read more

This place used to be so good, for some reason since the 2016 crawfish season started, they are not as good anymore. What do I mean by not good? The live crawfish taste bland, and the sauce seems to just stay outside and not soak in. Also, too much garlic in the sauce. read more

Not a full service restaurant, but the staff is super friendly. The Company Cajun (spicy) has a perfect spice, I had a tapatio bottle nearby and didn't have to use it because the flavor was really good. I liked seeing actual chunks of garlic on the sauce. Cajun fries are great! read more

Omg! Crawfish Co is the bomb! Just had some Cajun shrimp, Snow crab, corn, and spicy fries. So GOOD! You order then sit and its delivered to the table! Napkins on the table. Bibs, utensils and condiments available as you need them. Nice choice of refillable fountain drinks, or bottled, and clean establishment. They have unsweetened ice tea!!! That's hard to find in other places! Staff very friendly and helpful!! They also have gumbo (with shrimp, sausage, rice, and okra) homemade and to die for! read more

The attitude of the people here is fucking terrible! The guy was so rude because I went to sit down and he said we couldn't! Because the family that ordered were there. Just as good if not better then boiling crab, the quality of the seafood is A+ and the corn and sausage come with each order. The Gumbo is homemade and you won't be able to stop eating it. No need to go to boiling crab anymore! read more

First time here and defintitely not the last. If you're looking for Cajun shrimp, dont' drive to Alhambra, Reseda, or even up the street in Sylmar. This is the place to go. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The Cajun shrimp arrived in just a few minutes followed by the raw oysters which were fresh and scrumpuous. I had to order more. They were that good. I'm definitely going back and taking more friends with me. read more

Had a job site nearby and yelped for local restaurants. Turn's out they just opened...Clean place, Great Food and a really cool staff. We tried out the King Crabs Legs, Clams, Crawfish and Shrimps. All was good but my absolute favorite was the Shrimp. Very juicy and flavorful. Give them a shot and I'm sure you'll become regulars! read more

I went for the 2nd time to this place. I ate here last week and liked it so much I came back again. The quality of seafood is top notch. I actually think it's better than The Boiling Crab. I was pleasantly surprised to be eating Alaskan king crab legs that was fat and full of meat. The shrimp was also really fresh and not overcooked. I really liked the sausage and corn that was mixed in with each seafood bag. It's a good place to eat with a group of people so you can try different things. They are also kid friendly since everyone makes a mess eating but they provide plastic bibs and gloves so you can really dig in. The sauces are really tasty especially if you like garlic. The butter garlic is good but their house sauce is even better. If you're like me and can't handle spice, ask them to make it mild. Since it's new, it's not overcrowded yet so you don't have to wait for a table. read more

Literally the only good thing about this place was the family specials. The "Cajun" sauce was overly lemony, and not enough Cajun seasoning. The lemon flavor even over powered the tremendous amount of garlic that was used. Watered down sauce, was not thick enough, just tasted plain honestly. Do not come here. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! But even that couldn't bring me back. Won't ever come back. I've had a looooooottttt better down the street.. save your money. read more

Have to say I was kind of skeptical by the outside looks of it.. But I saw a good amount of people in there eating. And usually that's a good sign. But mannnnnn it was so yummy and flavorful. Finally a good spot to eat in sylmar than driving down to northridge. Owner was very nice and so was his fiancé. And! Prices were reasonable. Not at all expensive. Crab legs were great and I loved the corn!!!! read more

This place is awesome, so much better than the basics. Great price for the amount you get, and lemme tell you it's a lot. If you do decide to the try this place, I would recommend to get house sauce and garlic butter with a kick. Date of visit: August 11, 2016 This place is amazing! I think it's possibly the best Cajun seafood place in the valley! Something I really like is the option of ordering shrimp without shell because I dislike having to peel and work at it for a few bites and then all over again; so this was absolutely amazing! Their sauce was really good it gave the shrimp the kick I needed and overall the place was very clean and the service was outstanding! I'll be returning often; I wish I had discovered this place sooner read more

I'm from Louisiana and I am always very disappointed by places claiming to be Cajun and Creole. Is it really Cajun or a watered down California version?

Not watered down at all. They are well known for their great sauces especially the Cajun one. They also have Lemon Pepper, Butter Garlic, Butter Garlic with a Kick, and their Boss Sauce which is a mixture of all of them.

Because of that great experience, we decided to go back after a long time, this time on a Sunday. When we walked in, we immediately noticed a big difference . There were a lot of empty tables. We ordered shrimp cocktails (cócteles de camarón) and sat down. Unfortunately, this time the food was not good at all. The juice in the shrimp cocktail was extremely salty,so salty that I couldn't eat it. I went back to the counter and explained the issue. The girl helping us was very nice and explained that they cure the shrimp with salt since it's not cooked. She offered to remake it, which they did, and I appreciated the effort. However, even the remake just didn't taste good to me. I like my seafood to taste fresh, with a natural seafood flavor not overly salty or loaded with condiments. This experience made me wonder if something has changed at the restaurant, especially since it was so empty compared to our first visit. The staff was friendly and did try to make it right, which I appreciate, but overall this visit was disappointing. Since it's also out of our way and we only stopped because we happened to be in the area, I don't think we'll be coming back. It's unfortunate because our first experience was so much better. The ambiance was pleasant. They had a couple of TVs playing football, music in the background, and the place was clean but the food just didn't live up to our previous experience.

The staff was super friendly and patient, and guided us through the options they have. As someone originally from the south, I approve of both the first and the fried okra, which I thought were super solid and flavorful. The fries were tasty too, and everything is cooked to order. Prices were reasonable - expect to pay 15-20 bucks a head, depending on how hungry you are and whether or not you want drinks. Drinks are in the can, so no refills. If we're in the area and jonesing for some southern style fish fry, I could definitely see us coming back.

Portion for the price was excellent. Definitely going to have to keep coming here just for this. Pepino con limon agua - Light, not too sweet very refreshing. Got all this to go all for around $22. We got the special Cajun which includes one cluster of snow crab, half pound shrimp, corn and potatoes. We also shared the special fried oysters and fries (upgraded to garlic). We got bibs and gloves but of course you will smell of garlic! Bathrooms are clean so you can clean up post meal.

I have wanted ethnic and exotic restaurants to move farther north and even come to the SCV. My wishes have been granted and we have Lebanese, Japanese, and Indian restaurants that rival the best in the southland. But, we lacked Ethiopian, one of my favorite cuisines. Not any more! Joy of joys, there is Ranch Side Cafe, just 20 minutes from Valencia and a stone's throw from two freeways. Ranch Side Cafe is sui generis. There is a stupefyingly broad and deep menu of American and Mexican fare (see my photos), but most and best of all, there is a very credible Ethiopian list too and that is what we visited for. A sunny cool day, bathed in golden light, this place just glowed warmth and welcome. It took a minute to appreciate all the little touches and the original artwork on the walls. There were ample tables inside and out, and a cheerful staff. The minute we walked in, we were greeted from across the room and invited to sit anywhere we wanted. I always choose a window (clean!) and then sat down to study the choices that were many. People think vegetarians eat rabbit food, you know, plain vegetables and non-gluten breads. If anyone is observant they will realize that we eat far more complex and seasoned food than meat-eaters. Ethiopian meals place a large emphasis on non-animal dishes, so it is a natural for me. Add to it that they have unique and elegant spices and the ordinary vegetable becomes a heavenly ambrosia. Also, it was full even on a late Sunday afternoon -- people streamed in the entire time we were there. Lake View Terrace (of Patrick Swayze fame) is a beautiful, verdant, horse-loving town, too, so the trip there was delightful as well. Our vegetarian platters were cooked to order. We enjoyed cups of delicious hot Italian coffee, a lovely server named Marisa who anticipated our every wish, and we took home half of the generous dishes we got. The tab was downright scandalously reasonable. Sunny, warm, cheerful, clean, delicious, upbeat and homey -- we are going to return for the Mexican menu next time. I am grateful to the gods for hearing my plea for Ethiopian food so close to home.

The sign is pretty small so keep an eye out but I would 100% come here again. My to go container came with lemons also and they do not skimp out on anything! Portions are great for the price - 5 tacos for $15

The food is delicious... if the shrimp bag had the juice.... I showed them the bag and there was very little to no sauce. I asked them please put some extra, but it's really not extra... and the girl came out from the back and said to me mainly NO. the service sucks. Buyer/eater beware. Oh and if I wanted some sauce that should have been In the meal first place... it would cost an additional charge of 4.00 plus tax on top of the money I paid... I ask why? Went to this place today. Was not happy at all. They charge for EVERYTHING ! Also the fried shrimp for adults did not come with fries and they were horrible, dry and tasted old. Not with it. Crawfish pounds are over priced considering its frozen crawfish. They don't sell half pounds of any of the boiled seafood other than the shrimp. They charged me 2.00 for potato's the size of a grape ! I would rather drive into the city where I'll get good food than to waste my money here read more
