Food is not well cooked , and the workers there are rude and always looks at people in a bad way.

Great stop on your way up to the grapevine

Incredible spot for great mexixan food.. I had a Breakfast burrito with Chorizo which was excellent. I saw their Chicken Fajitos looked great too. Fast service and quaint little stop next to the Shell station off of 210/5 freeways. Great selection and excellent portions make it worth the stop.

Super good mexican food, they use wood to cook so that adds flavor, they make menudo daily also very good. Definitely worth a try. They've been on busy for 10 years so they're definitely doing something right

1 taco for $5.48 !! Biggest rip off. So many better options.

$5.48 for one taco. Rip off. I don't care how good the taco tastes, no taco should cost $5.58..especially one this small. They call it a "large" taco

This spot is always hits the "spot". It's all in the name, "Fast n Fresh". Food is prepared fresh, made to order. Their Grilled Asada Torta is super delicious. I liked their shrimp and fish seafood fajita, as well as quesadillas. Employees are friendly and professional. I love my food made certain ways, with certain ingredients added or left out. I always get my food made exactly to my liking. They have a patio and in regular times, it's a delight to get your plate and sit outside to eat. With COVID, however, safety first. The patio is closed, and it's only pick up or delivery. Food, as usual, is being prepared fast and fresh, masks and 6 ft social distancing are reinforced, hand sanitizers are provided. It's a little gem, hidden right next to the AM/PM mart in a gas station stop. Check them out :)

    Fly on lettuce

I ordered a wet burrito on 12/28 around 7pm. I ate half of it at work and then put it back in refrigerator to take the rest home to eat. Upon microwaving the 2nd half at home I found a fly inside the burrito. I couldn't believe my fu***** eyes. I rigged the filling out of burrito and found a fu***** fly! This is winter season! How are their flies in my burrito! They literally have to try and lower their standards to have a fly in the burrito. I don't know what to do at this point. But I will never be eating here ever again.

Paso wine trip and what's an absolute must for our tradition. Getting gas and getting some delish mex grub at Fast N Fresh. Not gonna lie. I come here for the bean and cheese burrito. It's fresh it's cheesy it's hot and tasty. Wifey got the carnitas burrito and it's yummy as well. The beans make the burritos. Do your self and a local business a big favor and stop by. Trust me it not gas station food. It is good Mexican food.

What I received was corn on the cob, potatoes and sausage with a few pieces of shrimp and the crab. My family does not eat meat so I do not understand how they could make such a mistake especially when I was the only customer there. What if someone was allergic to one of the additional items? I'm pretty sure the sausage and vegetables were added to the shrimp to equal a pound. I am totally disappointed with this mistake and I see the reason why the restaurant was empty on a Saturday afternoon. There was no way I could have gone back to return the item since I live quite far and I made the mistake of not checking before I left since the girl stapled the bag and sealed the container inside. The shrimp isn't cooked well either. Some of them were cooked for too long while others seemed almost raw. Bad quality.

Nuzzled in the neighborhood of Sylmar ( yes you heard right ... Don't let it fool you it's worth it, fer real), you'll find this gem. Now I won't call it a whole in the wall but I will say this place knows what it's doing. It's hip in its own special way. Tucked next to the Sylmar branch library. Even better, go get a book and read and eat some delicious tacos. I'm not an expert at Mexican food but I am definitely picky when I eat Mexican food. Unless it's home made ... By my Brother- in-law's mom, I'm probably not gonna even try because I'm just not eating my calories in things I'm not sure I'll enjoy. It's my form of a healthy diet . You'll have to convince me otherwise. This is me convincing you that these are worth it. There's also a mural that will welcome you and put a smile on your face. Ambiance and seating: Day date worthy with a friend or whoever. Seat yourself either inside or outside. Parking: the lot is small but there are designated spaces. Street parking also available. everywhere you park just watch the signs. I can only speak of the Tacos as I only order these because they're so good every single time. Now it's not a small taco. For I think it's $5 now a taco you'll get a cheese lined flour tortilla open faced taco packed with so much meat of your choice and some semi spicy sauce that just makes you want more. Shrimp tacos: fave. The only thing I wish is that they deveined the shrimp but it is loaded with flavor that get over that quick. And I can also devein of I really wanted to lol Fish: oh this is so good. It's fried but not deep fried and it's a filet so I like the way it separates in each bite. I am full off two tacos but I always want to eat more lol. Shout-out to my coworkers for showing me this place cuz it's a go to in the Valley for us.

We lucked out and got the last booth before the dinner rush. The place looked exactly like it did last time we came. Staff was still friendly. They don't accept cash, only cards/tap to pay. Their menu looked different. Wish I had taken a photo. You have an option to build your own boil by choosing your protein, sauce, spice level and add in's. They still don't allow you to mix garlic butter and lemon pepper sauces. You're forced to get the Kickin mix which includes Cajun even if you're not a fan of that flavor. They also have a kids menu with 2 choices, appetizers and family combos. Always intimidating ordering from a menu that doesn't disclose the pricing up front. That's the weirdest thing. Even restaurants in Beverly Hills have pricing on their menus. We got the family feast which feeds up to 4 people and had a combo of crab, mussels, shrimp, sausage, rice, potato and corn which was about $107. (Side note, they charge 50 cents for a pair of gloves and they do not provide you with a little towelette to wipe before or after your meal) This I have to admit was a pretty good deal considering it's a good amount of seafood. They serve it to you in a large metal bowl. We asked for mild since we had toddlers, but because of the Cajun in the sauce (that they force you to get if you want garlic butter and lemon pepper flavor) it was more of a medium, and the kids could not tolerate the heat. Which wasn't a bad thing since that meant more for us grown ups. Ordered them a side of truffle fries which was not too bad actually. We also ordered some of their specialty drinks which come in huge cups. We tried asking for two small empty cups so the kids could share our drinks, but they refused to provide that to us. According to the waiter, it's the restaurant policy that they can only provide water cups, but we have to figure out what to do with the water inside. (Insert face palm emoji) Also they do not provide buckets for your shells so we weren't sure what to do with all that water but drink it. The cups are thin paper cups to pair perfectly with those gross paper straws. By the time we finished the water the cups were pretty mushy already. Needless to say we couldn't finish all our food so we asked for it to go, reluctantly as we hoped they weren't going to try and charge us for those to go bags as well. Pro's: they brought the food out quickly. The food tasted freshly cooked. Con's: don't know where to begin. Parking lot sucks since it's shared with multiple other businesses. There is no place for you to sit and wait outside the restaurant. You'll need to stand outside by the parking lot and pray you don't get side swiped by some crazy driver. Menu has hidden pricing. They charge 50 cents for gloves and do not provide wipes for after your meal. They don't provide a bucket/container to place your seafood shells so it gets mixed in with your other food on the table. Can't even ask for an empty cup for kids. They don't let you customize your sauces your way. Sad to say after all this time my review for this place is still a solid 2 stars.

First Visit -- Disappointing Experience…read more We came in last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived--there was only one other party of two. Our party of 10 was the largest group there, yet the service was still very slow and disorganized. I ordered six seafood platters, and I was honestly surprised by the portion sizes. When I hear "seafood platter," I expect something substantial, especially based on my experience at other seafood restaurants. Here, each platter was served on a large oval plate but contained just about enough food for one person. Each platter was supposed to come with rice or fries, but our side dishes did not arrive until we were more than halfway through our meal. I also had to remind the waiters twice about a refill of water for our pitcher after I had already requested it. The temperature inside was another major issue. The restaurant felt extremely hot and uncomfortable. There were only two industrial fans blowing air toward the middle of the room rather than toward the patrons, leaving our entire party sweating in the corner. The bathroom was even worse--it felt like a sauna with little to no air circulation. The service continued to be poorly timed throughout the meal. We were already about two-thirds finished eating before the buckets that are typically provided at the beginning of a seafood meal were brought to the table. These buckets are intended for trash and shells, so by the time they arrived, we had already been managing our shells and waste without them. Then came the bill. A 2.5% surcharge was added to our check. This was not listed anywhere that I saw on the restaurant's website, and it was never mentioned by the waitstaff. I only noticed it when reviewing the receipt. The digital receipt states: "to maintain our food quality and to improve services a 2.5% surcharge will be added to every check." I found that explanation particularly frustrating. Why should customers be charged an additional percentage specifically to fund improvements to the restaurant's food quality and service? Those are things I would expect to be included in the prices already being charged. There was also a discrepancy with the large-party gratuity. The restaurant's website states that an 18% gratuity is added for parties of six or more, yet I was charged 20%. I took a timestamped screenshot of the website showing the 18% policy and have attached it along with a copy of my receipt so customers can see the discrepancy for themselves. Finally, they were unable to print a receipt. The waiter had to figure out how to send the receipt to me by text. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will be our last. We came in hoping to celebrate my daughter's birthday and enjoy a nice meal together. Instead, we experienced inadequate portions, delayed side dishes, repeated requests for basic service, an uncomfortably hot dining room, poorly timed table service, an undisclosed surcharge, and a gratuity discrepancy between the website and our actual bill. I always try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, especially when visiting for the first time. But with a party of 10 and a bill reflecting both a 2.5% surcharge and 20% gratuity, I expected a much higher level of service and transparency. I would strongly recommend reviewing your bill carefully and comparing it with the restaurant's posted policies before paying.
