By the time we finished the place was filled with small parties on couples on date night. The staff was attentive and reset tables quickly and got our drinks topped up. We got the special Cajun which includes one cluster of snow crab, half pound shrimp, corn and potatoes. We also shared the special fried oysters and fries (upgraded to garlic). Very flavorful seafood boil in a bag! We were a party of 3 and the family pack #1 was perfect for us. We doubled up on shrimp and mussels, it also came with 2 corns, 3 potatoes and 1 sausage. I saw this new seafood boil place opened by in Panorama and wanted to try it. It's located in a plaza with lots of Asian restaurants and a super market which is pretty cool. Parking can be kind of crazy sometimes. We got some micheladas to start with and they were okay. They tasted like just clamato but they're were still good. We also got some calamari rings with fries and these were just okay too. The best part of the meal was definitely the boil itself. Lots of flavor and the shrimp were pretty big. The service was also just okay, they were pretty short staffed and they brought me the wrong beer for my miche. Overall this place is okay. If you're in the area give it a try. read more

We've been wanting to try this place many times in the past as my wife loves cajun seafood and it never happened. So the day came and we're glad we dined in finally. Place wasn't busy so we were seated bery quickly and greeted by their lone lovely staff that time. She was very nice and pleasant. We ordered the 1 lb shrimp with 2 corn and a rice. Wow, their house special sauce was very very good. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, juicy and has a snap when you bite into it. Evn their rice was cooked perfect. This is the best seafood boil I've had! So good. We got the 32.99 special each which comes with 1/2 pound of shrimp, cluster of snow crab legs, 1 corn and 2 potatoes. We also added another pound of shrimp to share. Our waiter was Scotty and he was great. The other waiter also helped in between but I did not get his name, he was also great. We had such a great experience here! As soon as you walk in you get hit with the smell of spices and seafood. We got quickly seated in a large comfortable booth and our waitress was kind to explain the menu and help us choose the best option for 2 people. She quickly came out with our giant micheladas that were perfectly seasoned with Tajín. Our food came out next and the bag was so huge and was fully packed with all kinds of yummy crustaceans! Let me tell you, IT WAS SO GOOD! The sauce was incredible, the king crab legs had lots of meat and the sausages gave it all nice smokey flavor. We enjoyed the meal with a cup of rice, tons of lemon and went through many napkins. Luckily our car was parked right out front in a shared parking lot making it easy to head out after a giant feast. Since we had never been here before and don't eat seafood boil too often, they took the time to walk us through the menu. But I'll tell you this- after coming to Star Crab, we will be eating seafood boil more often! My husband and I got the shrimp star combo and holy cow. It was HUGE! Probably best for 3 people but we went to chow town. We got shrimp, green mussels and crawfish. The shrimps were big and juicy and the mussels were a good size! It's nice you can choice your flavor and heat level. It comes with corn, potatoes and sausage too. That corn was so good. We got medium Cajun and it was the perfect slight heat. It's so fun to eat with your hands and make a mess on the table! They provide you with bibs, gloves, and a bucket for your shells etc. So don't expect plates and silverware! We also ordered the lemon pepper fries and these might be my new favorite fries ever. They were so well seasoned, the perfect thickness and just crunchy enough. My dream fries. I'm drooling just thinking about them. This place is no frills, situated in a busy strip mall. I did think the nautical decor was cute! Very family friendly. Lots of parking! Big shoutout to Carolina for the amazing service!! She helped me book a reservation for 8 with no problem and was incredibly kind and attentive the whole time. The food was amazing, and they even surprised us with ube cake, which was such a nice touch. During dinner, my mom and I had to step out for about 30-40 minutes due to an emergency. When we came back, Carolina brought us additional shrimp so we wouldn't have to eat cold food. Such a thoughtful gesture. She truly went above and beyond and deserves recognition!! read more

The restaurant is in a small plaza sharing its parking with other Asian and sea food business. Finding parking is never difficult. We came in and were immediately sat. There was only 1 other party already sat at a table so we had almost the whole place to ourselves. Their booths were so comfy and clean. I liked their simple furniture and sea themed decorations. Our waitress was extremely friendly and had been attentive the whole night. We did their #2 combo with spicy. The goody bag came out within 10 or so minutes... but In the meantime our waitress made my drink and I got to work! The picturesque presentation matched the taste for my type of tastebud! Yum. It was spicy tomato-y zesty and modelo flavor. I took big sips frequently. The food had all smelled/looked amazing.. my girl had competition. I had ZERO complaints on how the seafood and veggies were prepared. Everything was good size. The claws and crayfish fish were so meaty and tender. I LOVED their sauce. It was so buttery and savory with decent spice level! I always feel so unhinged on these types of meals given the experience of eating more with my hands, but, it's the blissful grub of a quality seafood boil such as this one that always makes me understand why I do it. Our server (Juliana?) was amazing -- super friendly and attentive! She recognized my brother Jon from his food review on social media and mentioned that his video brought in customers, including someone who came specifically for the garlic fries he recommended. Tried this spot for the first time the other night to celebrate my mom and my aunt's birthdays! Both sides of the family went so we had a huge party and basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It's a tiny place but can accommodate a big party + have room for smaller parties as well. My bf and I shared a Full House, Mild, bag of scallops, sausage, corn, and potato. What a crazy combo and was VERY surprised to see scallops as an option! The scallops were huge and absolutely delicious. The lady who served us was super friendly and always made sure to check in on us while serving everyone else. Seemed like it was just her and maybe the cook who were working there. We had a large party so she might've gotten a bit confused with some of our orders but that's ok. For the price and quality of the food, it was worth it. The spice wasn't too bad, just the right amount for me since I'm pretty bad with spice. Went in 2 days ago and had a great experience. We saw a sign outside for the 29.99 special it included a snow crab cluster half pound of shrimp 2 potatoes and corn. I got the seasoning which had everything mixed in and it was so fireeeee. I also ordered sweet potato fry's which were also good. Portion size was really good for the price. The snow crab cluster was huge it was the biggest I've ever from a place including boiling crab. The server was great and was promo and patient for our order since it was our first time. Not to mention but there is a red ribbon bakery next to it you can go to for dessert after that delicious Cajun meal lol. The crab was so easy to eat and the meat came out whole and not in little bits like other places. The shrimp were fresh. The corn and potatoes were good too. Came here on a Saturday at 9 pm. There was plenty of parking in the medium lot shared by many businesses. We have been to a few other of them before. There was only one group of four sitting inside the restaurant but there was enough tables for a few more. We decided to sit in one of the spacious booths that had views of multiple TVs. The woman working was very friendly and attentive the whole time. She took our order, gave us our food and drinks, and checked on us regularly. My boyfriend decided to get the michelada with a modelo. The woman said they were running a promotion that if he posted the drink on Instagram it would only cost $5.99 compared to $9.99. It was really delicious, before all the beer gets in the tomato flavor is very strong and savory. For food we ordered the mozzarella sticks for $6.50 and the #2 crab star family combo with all 3 sauces and spicy level for $88.95. The mozzarella sticks were ready first and came out piping hot. The melted cheese pull was perfect and the crunchy breading went well with the provided marinara sauce. I don't think they're made in house but they are a good deal for the amount. The boil came next with sliced lemons and salt and pepper. I only ended up using the lemons because the boil sauce was very flavorful. The snow crab was perfect! The legs and body were filled with sweet meat and were very easy to get open with the handy scissors and crackers. Very delicious and fresh! The shrimp were also sweet, fresh, and plump! The crawfish were absolutely delicious and easy to peel, and all the huge mussels were open and didn't taste fishy at all. All the seafood seemed very fresh and really good quality! The corn and potatoes were cooked perfectly and went well dipped in the butter sauce and eaten with the slices of sausage. They really make sure the sausage is soft which I love. Will definitely make this our go-to crab boil spot in the valley. Great price for quantity and quality of food, delicious flavors, fast and friendly service, casual and comfortable ambiance. Our group of three stopped in on a Friday around 8:00pm. The restaurant had lots of open tables and there were a few TVs all broadcasting different things. We decided on their #3 combo, all seasonings, extra spicy. The food came out quickly, and we were given the normal bib and gloves. My sister had forgotten a hair tie, and they actually brought a thin disposable one out for her, which was so cool. The food came out in a plastic bag, along with lots of lemon slices and some salt. The king crab and snow crab were so delicious. Not too salty, nice natural sweetness, and juicy. The slices of sausage were soft and savory. We had a bit of leftovers and they were quickly bagged up for us. We had such a great meal here; I'd love to go back sometime. read more
