    Cheesesteak spring rolls.

We came here with some friends to watch Liverpool game. The inside is small so it's hard to accommodate a lot of people so some of us had to stand. Service was great. Our food and drink orders came out fast and correct. My husband enjoyed the Bloody Mary. Hummus: fresh and not runny. Served with pita bread and grilled zucchini and carrots. Highly recommended. Cheesesteak spring rolls were delicious too, not too greasy and had a nice crunch . Salad: my mixed green salad was served with goat cheese and candied walnuts with beets. Good portion size.

    Lamb nan

Been here many more times since my last review as it's become a go to spot. Food is great, the fries are other worldly and worth the trip, and the beer menu is solid. And I like that new things get rotated onto the menu on a regular basis. Eg lamb nan (so good). The only caveat for folks who haven't been here is that the inside is small with only a few tables and most of the seating is outside in their covered patio. Will keep coming back

There is a new bar/pub in town and as a passionate supporter of all things Havertown my first impressions are mostly positive with a few cautions thrown in. When you walk in the door most folks will be impressed. We're talking dark wood, ceiling fans, and a beautiful exposed brick wall. This is a tiny place. The bar seats about a dozen. Regarding tables; I spotted two four-tops by the window and four high- tops along the bar. That's it. I understand that there is an upstairs but it's not ready for prime time at the moment. So I sat at the bar and perused the beer list and the menu. They have twelve taps posted on a blackboard. They included Flying Dog and Allagash White. The menu is one page and there are no surprises. Most of the sandwiches are $8.00 or a little more. The standard appetizers are available. I ordered pot stickers for $7.00. Six of the little devils arrived nicely plated. They were accompanied by a spicy chili dipping sauce which is a good thing because the pot stickers themselves, while pretty, were flavorless. It's time to look into a new supplier for them. On this Saturday night I arrived just after 5:00 pm. I was one of six at the bar. After an hour the place was just about packed. To me, one key to a great bar experience is the staff. A super bartender is an expert at interacting with people. My guy didn't make the grade. There was no effort to interact with me. He never asked if my food was OK. I watched him with the other patrons and noticed the same lack of engagement. As these folks are new, I'll give him a pass this time but this need to be fixed. As I prepared to leave I checked out my bill. The prices are in line with the competition. That's a good thing because Peabody's, Oakmont and Lamplighter are within sight. It's great to have a new business in town. I plan on stopping back and hopefully watching them mature into a big success in our little town.

Do they have to give mediocre service and the stink eye to any patrons who don't go to St Denis? Next time I'll wear Orange.

My husband liked a beer and would've gotten a second one, but the waitress never made it back to us at that point. I, of course, came to a brewery and ordered their apple cider margarita. There was a lot of ice. Too much ice. Not much drink. Didn't hurt that much because the drink was just ok. My kids crushed the pretzel. It was huge and my one kid discovered a love of cheese along with it. My spouse got the Cuban, which is a little dry, but pretty in line with Cuban expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the pickle burger with double patties, enough meat that I also shared bit of it with the kids. My kid dipped the patty in the pretzel cheese. My spouse had read that it took a while for food to come out, but it came out pretty speedy for us. We also ordered the crab dip, but it came out at the same time as our main course so we didn't eat much. Taking that sucker home. Besides the pretzel, the variety of spaces here are the main highlight. Again, disclaimer being this is coming from someone who didn't come to a brewery to drink beer.

They could've stuck with the plan and probably make significantly more profit and it wouldn't have been a wrong decision. Their brand and reputation was more important to them, and they didn't feel that the transition would be a positive transition for them overall. I had a personal experience happen lately that affected their decision to continue. I wouldn't have liked them any less had they felt the best direction for them was to continue with that idea. This personal experience was borderline shame for my family. They are thinking why would I associate myself with so and so and this and that, but I try to be open to all places and environments- especially if I have a reason to be at such and such a place, etc. I used to be a teacher and probably had to teach some of the people's kids or their relatives or work with some of them, and ironically, my family wanted me to be a teacher at one point. While that experience was a struggle for me including not understanding or being okay with people being disrespectful, one thing that never changed was my heart for the kids, their families, and all the staff I worked with. They could see this and I never had to ask. I always worked on how I could mesh well with others very different than me constantly. I don't regret my teaching experiences despite how painful it was for me. Thank you, Craft Beer Store, for treating your customers like they are human and not just another number. Physical violence is NOT a solution to any kind of misunderstanding or conflict, and the Craft Beer Store will not stand up for such nonsense. I would've never thought communicating with a store could become such a positively personal experience for me. I plan to make much more effort to support them than just a casual let's try this or that beer now, and you should too. Thank you.
