The bakery staff were friendly and helpful, and not at all phased by our group of six. Each member of our party raved about their choices. We ate in the newly renovated upstairs level where we found several people enjoying brunch/lunch while working quietly on laptops. We love the new menu and the bright seating on both levels. I have been eyeing the Banana Cream Pie with Banana Buttercream. The gentleman in front of me in line ordered what I thought was the last one and apparently Ashton noticed my shoulders slump . When it was my turn, I ordered half dozen cupcakes. She had one more Banana Cream Pie! I was estatic! Got that, Boston Cream Pie, Cookies and Cream, Red Velvet, and Dark Chocolate with Vanilla Buttercream. Ashton is very friendly and knows her cupcakes! I have been wanting to try these cupcakes for a while now so perfect timing! When I went up to the door it was locked. Thankfully Ashton promptly opened it up for me. Since it was closed due to prepping for an event there were no cupcakes in the cases. I said I was hoping to try her cupcakes and she said she did have some in the refrigerator case. Just a day old. They did not taste a day old! My family and I ate them when I got home. They were very moist and delicious. Could not tell they were vegan at all! We will definitely be back. To top off the great cupcakes, Ashton is a very sweet person herself. She thought I was there to pick up an order of gorgeous looking chocolate covered strawberries and when I tried to pay for the 3 cupcakes I chose, she said they were on the house. Even after I told her I had not ordered the strawberries, she did not have me pay for the cupcakes! She has made a loyal customer with her generous act. All of the donuts on display were colorful and eye catching. We got 3 donuts the strawberry with sprinkles, the peanut butter Oreo, and a chocolate with whipped crème and all of the donuts were DELICIOUS! The breakfast bagel I got was fresh, delicious and big enough that I shared half with my son. Unfortunately I can not remember the name of the one I chose. I recommend visiting at least once when your in the area. I plan on coming back once more before heading home!
