I had a full Cuban sandwich and their Loaded Frita Fries. Honestly one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I ate half and reheated the other half in the oven the next day and it was still an amazing sandwich with so much flavor. Food is fresh but flavor a bit bland for my taste. $14 for a sandwich with no fries or drink. Add their $12 fries and you'll be looking at close to $30 tax included with no drink. One hour and a half of a wait. I asked for loaded fries he charged me for two and then tells me he doesn't have enough to make 2. I ask for a refund of the fry, I noticed the refund is not for the loaded fries, he planned all along to give me the regular fries. I asked for the order to go, realized after I got home that my Maduros (fried banana) order is wrong. It's not there period. Service is terrible, food is not great. Waste of time and money. $60 for 3 people and my order is screwed up? No thanks. Never more. Should of gotten the BBQ truck instead. read more

Best Cuban Spot in Houston by far! People travel from out far for this truck. Some people are turned off by the prices but trust me, the amount of food you get is well worth the price! Ordered the Cuban sandwich, steak fries and my sister ordered the Frita, which we also tried. Steak fries are out of this world, must try! It's aight... Been here twice now and got the steak and cuban sandwiches. Both are mostly OK but kind of wear on you as you eat more of it. My husband just stopped by my office and brought me a Cuban and Tostones ( fried plantains) from The Cuban Spot. When I tell you that this is the best Cuban I've ever tasted, I MEAN IT! I cant even concentrate on work now! All of the flavors are well balanced and they come together beautifully. The Tostones were fried perfectly and seasoned just right. The portions are amazing. We shared a Cuban and I cant even finish my half! I feel like I am going to be obsessing over this sandwich now. To top it off, the owner is super friendly. This foodtruck is right outside my office but I don't plan on giving them business again. The staff was so rude through the whole ordering process. I got the Cuban sandwich which was good but I simply asked for no pickles (I genuinely hate pickles) and the girl gave me this shocked look like I was crazy and asked "are you sure?!" in a judgmental tone. Whatever, I brushed it off. I get it when someone is invested in their ingredients. When the cook went to hand me my food after my number was called he looked me in the eye and said "you're the princess?" And the girl that took my order stood beside him laughing. Love love love! The Cuban Sandwich is so goood and Tostones is a killer -if you don't like salty you can tell them to put just a little of salt on it. The lady is so adorable and they have positive vibes with music that will make you wanna dance! The boys cook but it's amazingly good. I modified my order to half Cuban sandwich with Tostones on the side which is not part of their menu but the lady had no problem at all. Love how they consider what a customer wants. THE BEST! I went the other night for the first time and last . It's overpriced and food was terrible . The half sandwich comes with fries however if you order full sandwich it comes with nothing . They don't tell you that . I spent 30 on two sandwiches that were awful . The Cuban sandwich was the best out of two . Not enough ham . The steak sandwich tasted like rubber . The meat was super dark, rough to eat and dried out . Not sure where they learned to make Cuban food . The girl taking orders is not very helpful and acts like you are a bother . Okay, Our community had a local event and these were the food trucks invited along with a few others. There was a super long line for this food truck, I waited an hour. I received a ticket after than hour, and then...waited another 40 minutes for my cubano sandwich. Now, a thing to know about the cubano sandwich, the pork is slow roasted and already cooked, as is the other meat in the sandwich, mustard, pickles, then panini pressed--These guys worked absurdly slow but made a good sandwich, I wouldn't wait that long for it again though. Omg I don't even know where to start... I had half a Cuban sandwich, fries, drink, and a pastry. My bf had the original frita. The Cuban sandwich is hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. The shredded beef was seasoned sooo well and it was sooo juicy you just want to devour the whole sandwich in one bite. The original frita is something we had never tasted before but being Hispanic I love chorizo and I enjoyed it very much. Now those pastries ... when I bit into the guava with cheese pastry it's like I bit into a piece of heaven. Soooo good I literally went back within minutes to buy 2 more. There's no exact way to describe the pastry it is flaky but a bit crunchy but the guava with cheese is a beautiful combo brought to us from the Cuban angels. I won't lie upon looking at the prices on the menu I thought it was a tad bit expensive for a food truck however after getting my food I truly understand why they price the way they do ... the food is simply amazing and I would definitely visit the truck again. Not impressed. We waiting for at least 20-25 minutes for our sandwiches. My wife and I both ordered the steak sandwich, mine had mayo, onion, steak and crunchy potato things, hers was high and dry with no onions. No consistency. I agree with the previous review, there is no flavor on the meat and for a $12 sandwich the meat was very tough. I was hoping for more but was left hanging. read more
