Tostonias and Cuban w/ habanero aioli

We enjoyed everything very much so. The Cubans had a nice crunch from the bread, the pulled pork was juicy and tender. Tostonias where nice in size and not greasy at all. Habanero aioli sauce was amazing. I will say it would be nice if the Cubans had some kinda spice on them. We bought...a full Cuban, a half Cuban comes with fries and a full size of tostonias. It was $35, kinda pricey.

From Los Angeles, I travel for work a lot. This spot is fire. The meat, the first, the loaded fries. A must go and visit. Atmosphere and location is amazing. The croquetas were fire! The extra flavor and condiments

Takes forever (25 minutes)!! Their food looks way better than it tastes. They served people a few minutes before me with the same order who came way after me. The lady that works behind the counter has a bad attitude as well. Never going to eat their food again...

Let me tell you something!! Live at 5... the staff were so nice.. we chopped it up for at least hr drive talking about Miami. Ingot the opportunity to try a real Cuban. If you have never tried one this is the place to go. I love this place. I do recommend

The easiest way to rate the experience is "Meh". I was excited by the location and my unsolicited thoughts about food trucks. At the end of everything I ordered the half Cuban sandwich with fries and I was quite underwhelmed. I don't know if I just had a bad experience there or what. The meat was tough and the fries were average at best. It just seemed to me that it would be kind of difficult to mess up this particular sandwich and fries. We split a half sandwich and didn't finish it. Maybe your luck there will be better than mine....Even still...Life is Short..Get In....Get Out.....Enjoy

Oh....my downside is that I wish the menu had what the item was included or topped with. It would make the ordering process much smoother. At a food truck event, myself and a stranger both were surprised that our fries were topped chorizo instead of beef. It was no biggie, we both should've asked before ordering but the pics online looked like steak. But the fries were still good!

So this food truck came to my apartments today and it was really good! I tried the steak fries and half of a Cuban sandwich. The fries were so good! The Cuban sandwich was good as well but I like the fries better. The lady that took my order was very nice and she gave me some suggestions on what to order. I hope they come back to my apartments because I will be a repeat customer.

This food truck was parked outside of my apartment complex the other day and since it had CUBAN writing in big lettering on the side I decided to try it out. I knew what I was going to get before I walked up - the Cuban sandwich. One of the guys working tried to get me to get a burger, but if I'm going to try out a new Cuban place you have to try out the sandwich. Yum. It was really good! The pork was well marinated beforehand as it had a ton of flavor, and the bread was perfectly crispy. It even worked well as a lunch the next day (though the sandwich wasn't crispy then). I also got the tostones because I love fried plantains, and I'd say they're a 4 out of 5. Their crispiness didn't last so well as I walked home, but the jalepeno aioli that was served with them was so so good. The only complaint I have is the pricing - for a Cuban sandwich and tostones, I paid $18. I think they should figure out a way to make a combo for a cheaper price since $18 is a little high up there.

Amazing food. Found them at truck yard The steak fries are great and they streamed the fight !!

This place is so delicious. If I could give it 10 stars I would, the owners are so down to earth and cool made my experience spectacular. I will most definitely be back. Let Jose and Gorg know I sent you!!!!

One of the worst Cuban sandwiches I've had. Store bought deli ham and pulled pork don't make for a good Cuban.

I also ordered their strawberry lemonade, which had a thicker consistency for juice. It was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. Their drinks are solid. I tried the Cuban sandwich, which was okay in my opinion. As I dove right into it, the pork flavor was interesting & every few pieces of the outer meat were a tad bit hard. When I ate it later for dinner though, the sandwich tasted so much better for some reason. Lol maybe cuz everything was marinating and softening idk. It's good, but I wouldn't order this sandwich again. I prefer chicken. I tried some of my dad's fricasa de cerdo. Loved it! Reminded me of a stew, but I would not drink the whole bowl because it is on the saltier side. It was served extra hot, and the chicken was tender. For the sides, my dad got the fried ripe plantains (sweet and soft) and the fried yucca sticks (tastes like potatoes - crispy on the outside), which paired nicely with a garlic sauce. Service was great! They are very warm and kind to their customers. I highlyyyy recommend this place to anyone looking for good Cuban cuisine. It's never too busy or loud when we go. Plenty of parking!

Authentic Dominican/Caribbean food in Willowbrook. Who knew?…read more I remember this place from a birthday party decades ago. The space was a bit bigger (they've since redesigned it smaller), but the crowds were smaller. Success hasn't tarnished their food. It was a very rainy and soggy afternoons and the place was packed. We managed a table and ordered. Can't go wrong with the delicious shrimp mofongo. I honestly think the sauce is the icing on that cake, made all the more delicious with a squeeze of lemon. Whew! Service was fast and dinner came out at a reasonable pace. The owner is so friendly and stopped by our table to make sure things were good. Better than good! If you're in the Willowbrook area do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner. Prices are a little steep, but what's isn't these days?

I ordered the pollo guisado and moro, both were good and we have a little left over. My partner ordered the pica pollo and the fried chicken was decent. The food does take some time, and servers did not check in too often so I would recommend ordering ahead of time (unless you have a long lunch break), There are plenty of tables, but it is a little dark inside, 2 bathrooms inside. The juice was on the sweet side so just watered it down (wish they have smoothies), but they get 5 stars overall for the flavor and the price point. Plenty of parking as it's in located along other stores.
