I was impressed by the Gelato, the colors weren't intense (i.e. not using food coloring), it was a good indicator that natural flavors were used. I don't like a lot of pistachio flavored things because they often don't taste like real pistachio, this tasted of real pistachio (not almond extract that others use). I really liked it and I was impressed. The cheesecake was good and creamy. The menu was varied and lots of other things to try on our next visit. I should have known it was trouble when the menu had no prices and could not view the menu until close to the window. Didn't mind the drive thru line as that was another option versus going inside. I ordered from pictures online as there was a young lady walking to vehicles in line to take orders for digital payments. I thought this was pretty awesome as it could speed up service when vehicles made it to the window. There was not an option for a receipt with the clover machine though. I made it to the window where there were multiple friendly faces as the window. My order was made and handed to me. Issues with getting a receipt occurred when I asked for one. The young lady tried handing me a ticket that showed them filling the order. That was not a receipt. She tried to explain the prices were due to something increasing. I didn't care about what I paid, but I wanted my receipt from using my credit card. I tried the custard and it was good. There was not much filling in the generous mound of ice cream though. I was disappointed after making the trip, waiting in line and getting to try what was so hyped up by multiple bloggers on social media. I tossed 1/2 the cup of custard in the trash and I strongly dislike wasting money. It was not worth what they charged. Update- but the business has pricing on the board at Monroe location from the previous Yelp reviews in the last 7 months. This loaded, overpriced custard option is just a gimmicky niche. Suggestions: QR code to a digital menu to view while in line. It could be put on a stand or something. Why not have prices listed on the menu? Premium pricing for custard should at least have a price list and cost for add ons. Handheld system with option for printing a receipt if this is a permanent option in drive thru.

We stopped in with four adults and two children. The service was friendly and very efficient. The seating was limited but it was not busy. The facility provides a cozy, simple place to enjoy your treats. We tried the Salted Caramel Mini Pancakes, the M&M Mini Pancakes, the Chocolate Banana Nut Crepe and the Biscoff Bubble Waffle. They were all superb. While not cheap, these desserts were worth the expenditure. With tax and tip, the total was $50. At less than $10 per person (including the kids), I was not concerned with the cost. In fact, I can say we over-indulged as the desserts were huge. We could have gotten by with one less item.
