I'm picky about how my hair is cut so it's challenging to find a place I like and I'm comfortable with. I walked in and sat down and had a conversation with a guy waiting on the two ladies cutting other customers hair. Before my previous Barber I've had some bad experiences at places that made me uncomfortable and kept charging more and more for a haircut. So I was checking this place out. The ladies Angie and Charlette immediately made me feel welcome although I had never had a lady Barber before I was willing to give them a try. Charlette began her magic with her scissors and boy was she great for someone new at this! She gave a first class haircut paying attention to the smallest details. She hot lathered and gently shaved my neck and around my ears. She listened and went out of her way to make me happy and do a Great Job at what I thought was a very reasonable price! These are great ladies that love their work and making their customers happy. I was extremely pleased with my experience and the great job Charlette did with my haircut. Very sharp and very talented young lady. Will definitely be going back and actually called a friend right after I left who was looking for a Barber also! Thanks Charlette you were great! Will

The staff at front made sure my son was seen even though they had trouble locating the appointment. They were busy but we did not have to wait. I bought the student package which gives a $10 discount on haircuts if you buy 6 and pay all at once. I love a good deal! They offered me a free water or budlight which I thought was nice. He asked for a blonde buzz cut, which online "starts at $150," I would personally assume it would be around $150 because dying a buzz cut shouldn't require that many products or time. First, he put the bleach on his long, very curly hair, which caused it to be patchy at best. He then gave very specific instructions for his haircut of "2 on the side and 5 on top." He left the salon with an uneven haircut, and patchy/uneven blonde going all around his head. I really can't believe they allowed him to leave like that. In addition, he paid $205, for a second bleaching service that he didn't get to get to his desired blonde, because he didn't have the materials and his color specialist wasn't in. When these issues were brought up, they offered to fix it, but at this point he, nor did I, trust them to fix anything. He ended up offering a refund for ... the service he was charged for and didn't receive. Since then, he has gotten no response. I'm posting this because it was something he was excited to do and a luxury for a man to go get their hair dyed in a salon, but he ended up spending more than he'd wished with a haircut and dye job that he had to get fixed elsewhere, which obviously cost more money. Not only do I think he deserves the refund for the service not recieved, because why was he charged in the first place, but a refund for everything, because letting someone leave with a clearly uneven job on all accounts is sloppy and unprofessional.

The location is a bare bones barbershop, and some decorating is still happening from her recent move across town. Gula welcomed me and asked what I was looking for, and then proceeded to exceed my expectations. Great conversation during my haircut, but not the forced conversation of a typical of a haircut. Was finished in no time less than 30 minutes (huge plus in my book), without trying to sell me any un-neccessary products. Cashed me out, thanked me for my business and off to cut the next persons hair! I will definitely be back, and suggest you give it a go to support local businesses in the area!
