Jim reprofiled my big condor blade for me after a buddy really messed up the edge. Before I took it to Jim I was really thinking that I was going to have to even get rid of the blade... Jim was able to re-profile it, and made it look brand new. In fact the profile he put on this blade I think is better than the way it came from the factory. When I I got the blade back it was hair popping sharp, probably the sharpest blade I've ever handled personally....did some cutting tests, and it sliced through really thick cardboard tubes, single sheets of paper, and ballistic gel no problem, and it still sharp enough to shave with. I was looking for someone to sharpen my knives in the SE area and found Jim. He had me drop my knives off in the morning and they were done that afternoon. He even delivered them to me. My knives are working great! I have to be careful when using and cleaning because I am not used to having them so sharp. You will be able to tell when you cut your foods...especially veggies. The Cutting Edge is truly outstanding both in the quality of the work and the customer service. My experience was great. Jimmy was responsive when I emailed him, communication about scheduling was easy, and he was able to sharpen 3 kitchen knives and a pair of shears while I waited. Wow! I had forgotten how sharp my knives were supposed to be. Jimmy made my 30 plus year old knives like new again for a fraction of the price of replacing them.
