Food was too delish...inhaled it before thinking about photo! Loved the TiniTuesday thing too!

Wow! Great service and excellent hosts! We sat at the bar and enjoyed sharing different things suggested by the bartender, who actually tagged us correctly as pescatarians. We were amazed! Anyway, they had some ran-goons and things that were fried in a dedicated fryer, so our pesky selves were quite satisfied! We enjoyed quenching our thirst with Fort Bayou and other Mississippi brews after a long drive followed by a gym visit. It was also TiniTuesday, so I was glad not to be a driver afterward!

We made a quick overnight stop at this Harvest Host location and we ate one of the best meals in our 4,000 mile excursion. The bartender suggested the fried green tomatoes which were the best I've ever eaten and the pot roast quesadilla with gravy on the side also delicious. She also made a very tasteful old fashioned for us. You won't be disappointed.

At first it was a great establishment, they have multiple games including Ping Pong, darts, billiards, Jenga, air hockey and bags all indoors so no matter the weather outside you get to enjoy them. which was the highlight of the night. now to get to the gritty part, if you're looking to eat here i cant recommend it! i ordered the "comeback Chicken sandwich" which is the last thing i will be doing, the chicken was cooked poorly, it was so tough the chicken had to be raised a fighter the presentation of it was great though very disappointing. The bread was soggy so therefore it didn't last long as a sandwich. I also ordered a the "Mini Bar Pretzels" turned out to be a pleasant surprise when they came out. the sauces were both mustard but not traditional on was supposed to be honey mustard but it was far from that lol. as for the drinks! definitely is what they should stick too, obviously they have to serve food but its just too risky to eat there. they have a full bar and i believe 24 taps, they only had two bartenders which doesn't work with the amount of traffic they have. They have a bar outside that they didn't use that night, which is odd cause it would have helped serve faster and not made us wait 20 mins even for soft drinks. well if you're looking to get drinks and play a few games in a great atmosphere then stop by this tap-house but if you're looking for the whole dinner and drinks it is a gamble and maybe you will get lucky.

They have 24 craft beers on tap and they rotate. Awesome place for great beer and conversation. A great place to meet new friends. They have started serving food and they will also have liquor soon as they passed their final inspection. I can't get the page to accept this web address: https://www.facebook.com/thecypresstaphouse/ Also Summer has written on their FB page: A mile north of downtown Ocean Springs is The Cypress Taphouse, a locally owned craft beer house, pouring some of the best brews in town. Take a day break on our gazebo overlooking the koi pond, spend an afternoon with us after work during happy hour, or bring your loved one to enjoy live music and a relaxing night tucked away from the commotion.

Our 25th Anniversary get away was a must stop at the Cypress Taphouse! Stacy our bar tender was a royal hoot! She is a keeper for sure!!! She is a great mixologist with beers and put on a little flare while making my Hemingway! We shall be back the next time we are in town!

Flight of Ft Bayou Brew and Fried Green Tomatoes w/ Crawfish Cream Sauce

Keith is an amazing owner and host who welcomed us with a huge smile, hand shake and true southern hospitality. I ordered a flight of the Fort Bayou Brewing craft drafts. I loved them all, with my favorite being Fiddlesticks (Peanut Butter Porter)! My husband and I shared a plate of Fried Green Tomatoes with Crawfish Cream Sauce -- oh my gosh -- no words can describe how delicious these were AND the presentation was impeccable! The Crawfish Cream Sauce was the icing on the cake -- they are the BEST fried green tomatoes we have ever tasted! Gotta love the Deep South with the amazing hospitality along with Cajun & Southern delicacies! Huge thanks to Keith for an incredible southern welcome!! We will be returning! :)

Food and service was awesome. Even had the opportunity to meet the chef. Chef Ron came out and checked on us.

Food was very good especially when paired with a rum punch. It doesn't appear to brew anything themselves anymore

There is a parking lot after hours otherwise street parking. It is an interesting establishment that is placed right within the community. Which leads me to believe that the restaurant is in an old school or maybe church... nicely renovated either way... the restaurant is spacious, with numerous board games to enjoy while enjoying local beer. I absolutely loved that there was Pac Man-- I probably spent 4 dollars there haha Our waitress was wonderful answering questions and making recommendations. We tried the pizza that in house made dough was delicious... I tried a few beers. I would have this pizza again and I'm glad the waitress was honest about the Heat Lover pizza, as I tried the pepper x sauce on the side and that is HOT! I opted for the Supreme without olives and so glad I did.

Was excited about the prospect of good sourdough pizza crust. I haven't found decent pizza in my town, New Orleans, yet. Salad fresh. Burger and fries very good. I ordered an artichoke pizza but server got it wrong and I was brought an anchovy pizza. He offered to fix it but honestly I love anchovy pizza but never get it because no one else does! But this was a 10" personal pizza so I said what the hell, I'll keep it! It was delicious!! Dough crisp and chewy at same time. Perfect size. Truly excellent pizza.

Loved the Rockefeller and Chargrilled but was not crazy about the Elote with the corn and and little spicy. Just a personal preference. We also ordered the Boogie Bombs that were so good with the pepper jelly. For entrees I ordered the Blackened Redfish which come which vegetables and grits. The sauce over the redfish was great! It complemented the Redfish. The only thing that I would improve on would be the grits. They were a little dry. My husband ordered the pepperoni pizza and Ashley recommended the pepper jelly with it. The lighting is a bit dim for our old eyes but otherwise it has the feel of a pub. We loved that. Our server was very nice and helpful. We ordered the bacon cheddar fries. The fries are like a cottage fries that are then cut into strips. Perfect fry on them. The bacon could have been crispier but great flavor and a good ranch. I had the KPauls pasta. We all enjoyed it. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. If you love a saucy pasta this isn't for you. It is nice and creamy but not swimming in it. Big plump shrimp that tasted great. Also has chunks of chicken breast and sliced sausage. Uncle Jim got the red beans and rice. Great flavor but barely warm. The catfish is a thicker cut and battered in a coarsely ground corn meal. Aunt Robin had the shrimp and grits. Those were the star of the show. So creamy and incredible flavor. Very generous amount of nice sized shrimp. Mike had the Keg Stand burger. He requested the sauce on the side. It's definitely a unique flavor. Nice soft bun. The meat was grossly over cooked but would have been tasty had it not been so dry. The onion rings that came with the burger were soggy. Overall, enjoyed it. We know what to get next time. Shrimp and grits and KPauls pasta!!
