Omg! This place is like a miracle! I only wish I could afford to get a smoothie AND a bowl from here every day lol. But don't get me wrong, lunch here is the same price as any other lunch downtown, but it's truly healthy, tasty, and convenient! I definitely think the almond milk they make in house was a great option. There was no additional charge for these selections, which I was shocked about because that just seems to be the custom. I believe the smoothie had no added sugar. I forgot to ask, but I'm pretty sure it didn't from the taste and also I didn't crash after. The consistency of the smoothie was medium, not too thick and not too thin, which I really like. I personally don't like thick smoothies. The pricing was super fair! Because the smoothie was medium consistency, it was easy for me to drink it fast, and I realized about 3/4th through that I was full and had to put it to the side, so A+ for being filling! The menu was full of amazing options, and their fridge was stocked with good stuff as well. The prices were, again, fair and everything was in glass containers. Super win! Despite being in the business district, the parking wasn't bad either. I popped 70 cents in a parking meter which gave me 15 minutes, and was able to successfully secure my smoothie and get back to my car. Overall, great experience! read more

In a town full of absolutely rich artery clogging foods my smoothie from here was such an incredible relief. I loooove good food but truly just needed some veggies and fruit. I was stuck at a conference nearby and was so excited to find Antidote just a 7 minute walk away. Found this place while staying in New Orleans with friends for an extended weekend and this helped me stay a float for all the amazing food and drinks experienced! Daily I would get a form of a green juice and turmeric and gulp down a couple jars of alkaline water that's complimentary while I waited! For California standards Antidote Juice is top notch and prices are very reasonable. You pay for quality and to be quite honest if the same items say were purchased from a California health food cafe the food would be $40+. There aren't very many health food restaurants/cafes in New Orleans. Antidote Juice is now my go to spot when visiting New Orleans. Kinda off the beaten path, but worth the walk for us from Canal street. While on our vacation we ate a ton of sugar and fried food, by the end I was ready for something clean, fresh, and detoxifying. I got the Tropical Storm with it's activated charcoal-delicious! Really light and refreshing on a crazy hot day. The only downfall here is that our juices were $11 each. That's pretty insane. Great service with a smile, even offering a cool glass of water while we waited. The Cold Brew Smoothie was good but the bananas overpowered the taste of coffee. Small bits of cacao were tasty. My wife's Sapphire Skies tasted strange to me. Glad I didn't order it. LOL. My kid' said her smoothie (Mint Chocolate Chip, I think) all she could taste was bananas. The selections were plentiful, but I settled on the Love Speech smoothie (most satisfyingly delish!) while I got a parfait (with Bulgarian yogurt? Who knew?
