    Mediterranean salad with shrimp

Located on the second floor of an office building. Quick lunch spot with lighter fare.

    Yummy Chicken Cesar salad!

Such a great little lunch spot! Ran across it on Yelp while search for healthier options. Friendly, fresh, are reasonably priced. I love a great Cesar salad & they offer just that! Highly recommend!

Middle Eastern, not a good picture but it's loaded with ingredients

Located in the food court of Place St. Charles office building it's the best of all the outlets. Have been many times and everything is always fresh and staff is super friendly. Lettuce is never brown or bruised and portions are big. The Middle Eastern is always good loaded with feta, black olives, tomatoes and chickpeas and tossed in a lemon tahini dressing, but all dressing are very good. You choose Romaine, Mixed Greens, Kale or Quinoa and a couple others I don't remember. Picture of salad isn't very good because I turned container over on way home but it was loaded with ingredients. You also have choice of shrimp, chicken breast or grilled portobello that can be added and also can build your own salad, wrap or bowl

Oh wow this is good and healthy!

This place has an amazing selection of freshness amongst all the unhealthy choices I could be making for lunch. The soups are so delicious, I haven't been let down yet on a salad I have tried. I think I like the Baja the best. They are super generous too! I can split a salad in half and be satisfied and eat the other half later for dinner or the next day. I usually don't do that because it is so good, I usually inhale that delicious salad because I am always so hungry by the time lunch rolls around. I am in love with this place!

    Look at that bread!!!! YUM!!!!

Great soups and salads and wraps located in the food court at Place St. Charles. You have got to check them out!!! Such flavorful salad dressings & great, warm your heart soups!!! they have some very nice teas that go with your lunch!! Oh & you get a nice hunk of great bread and a real butter square as well!! I CANNOT wait to go back!! They have alot of Veggie possabilties!! SO YUMMY!!

Kale/Cabbage Blend "Baja" salad with pineapple and portobello mushroom added.

I've been eating here every couple of weeks since they opened in Place St. Charles in the corner spot facing the fountain where Cafe Zizi used to be. It's a walk-up kitchen with general food court seating as well as the outside balcony with smoking and non-smoking areas. I haven't tried their soups, breads, or pastas, but the salads/wraps and quinoa bowls are consistently and incredibly fresh and delicious, and I especially love that their greens are cut up small enough to get them into your mouth without getting salad dressing all over your face. The portion sizes are huge. It's a fast and super-healthy CBD lunch option, and usually runs about $10 ($13 with a drink). Another plus is that they're one of the few restaurants inside Place St. Charles that accept credit cards.

A bit hard to find. Is a small to go place. Seating is available as part of the four court.

Food was fresh and delicious. Quick service. This was a nice break from a lot of the heavier foods that Nee Orleans is known for.

With the recent rain, the usual…read morepotent French Quarter street smells were washed away, leaving the air beautifully fresh and the temperatures perfectly cool. Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.

The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our server and helpers were over quickly to drop off waters and greet us. I ended up ordered the salmon. With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.

My wife had heard about the Pimm's Cup so we ordered a sample flight of their 3 flavors (Original, Strawberry, & Englishman's). All 3 were excellent. My personal fav was the Englishman's but my wife preferred the Original. We started off with the Crawfish Flatbread as an appetizer. The topping was really tasty but the bread was a bit undercooked. I ordered a 1/2 Italian Muffuletta and my wife had a red beans and rice. I will say that unless you are starving and have a huge appetite, I don't know how someone could eat a whole Muffuletta. They are huge. My 1/2 was more than the 2 of us could put away. Looking at other plates as they were brought out assured me that you shouldn't leave this place hungry. Everything looked huge and very yummy.

My favorite thing we got was definitely the veggie red beans and rice. It was very balanced and cooked well. I was very excited to try their shrimp and grits, but it wasn't that great. The grits were quite grainy and didn't taste cheesy as described. They weren't creamy at all and really tasted like plain barely salted grits that could have been cooked a bit longer. The shrimp was flavorful and the sear on the outside was nice, but they were quite overcooked and tough. There was a much higher ratio of grits to shrimp and gravy than you would want, especially given the grits were not that good. However, my husband absolutely loved the chicken pasta and said it was one of the best he has ever had. They definitely can make good food but I would skip the shrimp and grits. The lemonade I ordered was also incredibly watery. The service was efficient and good overall, but very impersonal and bare minimum. Definitely efficiency prioritized over true dinner service. Not bad but not what I expected.

Entering through the tunnel you get the sense that you're stepping into a place you shouldn't really be and Sylvain seems to accentuate that with this secretive environment that feels almost like a cocktail lounge. The service was fantastic with the hostess seating us for our reservation right away and the waiter being incredibly patient and helpful during our dinner. We had someone in our party love the playlist here so much they asked the bartender for it as well. The menu is bold and complex but they were happy to strip it back to basics if needed. It was extremely cold in the restaurant though, so make sure to dress warm, especially in the colder months. We ordered their cast iron cornbread, chicken sandwich (no pickles or hot sauce), and their special of the night which was a pork-veal mix sausage on a milk bread bun and topped with sauerkraut. The cornbread was dry but the flavor was good. The butter they gave with it had cajun spices infused and gave it a nice zip although it was a bit too salty. Their fried chicken sandwich was delicious, light and crispy with salty shoestring fries that hit the mark. Lastly, their house special of the sausage was great. The sausage itself was well seasoned and the bun was soft and sweet. It was a bit salty with the added sauerkraut but the mix of flavors was still delicious. We also ordered a drink, just erotic not kinky, which was delicious. It's a bourbon with blackberry and lemon juice that was strong and refreshing at the same time. Sylvain is a culinary delight surrounded by an area that demands it. The food could be a tick better but it is still very, very good with fantastic service to bolster it. Whether you want a casual dinner or to drink cocktails in the French Quarter, this is a spot that is worth a look and your money, especially if you're with a big party.

The Apothecary was the cure. We grabbed seats mid bar and before we even finished settling in, there were waters waiting on the bar. That simple move already separated this place from the chaos outside. It's hospitality in its cleanest form: welcome in, take a breath, we got you. Inside is low light and old time apothecary mood, menus like a spellbook, but it's not gimmicky. The bartenders move like they've done the reps. Calm. Precise. No frantic showboating, no syrupy cover ups, no sloppy pours even with the parade energy banging on the door. We ordered two and they were both dead on. Alchemist Elixir: pea flower gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon. It shows up pale violet with an orchid on the rim and yes it's pretty, but it's also disciplined. Floral without tasting like perfume. Bright without being sour. A drink that makes you slow down. Plus a magic chemists surprise. Corpse Reviver #2: local gin, Lillet Blanc, Grand Marnier, absinthe, fresh lemon. Cold, crisp, citrus first, then the herbal edge and just enough absinthe to remind you what city you're in. Served in a textured coupe with a cherry skewer, details handled like they actually matter. Outside, the streets were selling amnesia in plastic souvenir cups. Inside, The Apothecary was serving adults. Let Bourbon Street keep the grenades. Give me the anecdote .
