Oversized t-shirts and tunics. Some denim. Big, chunky necklaces. Lots of bling. Not necessarily my style but I won't ding them for that. Was on the hunt for mother-of-pearl earrings for a friend. My friend had just purchased a beautiful mother-of-pearl necklace and since its her birthday this month, my goal was to find complimentary earrings. After going into all of the higher end boutiques - Twiggs, The Ruddy Duck, Chemistry Jewelry, Plenty - I decided to wander into Dream Street Boutique. Right on the counter were 2 displays of earrings and a beautiful pair with mother-of-pearl stones dangling over a silver teardrop. At $28, that was beyond reasonable and they are perfect! The right stone, a little dangle and classic silver. Sold! Was so happy to find exactly what I set out to get and can not wait to give them to my friend. While I was there another shopper came in and told the owner that one of the tunics she bought had pilled during the first wash. She mentioned that she shops there frequently and never had that issue with other similar tops. Without hesitation, the owner went over to the rack, picked a new tunic top, and handed it to the women without even going through the whole, "let me see your receipt and ring up an exchange" routine. She accepted the return in good faith and without any hesitation. Now that is customer service! So while the style of clothing doesn't match my personal taste, I still give 5 stars for the customer service, the reasonable pricing and the fact that there are women for whom this style does match, and they can have a great shopping experience here knowing the clothes are backed with a guarantee.

There's a wide selection to choose from including some shoes to handbags, PJs to coats, and glasses to belts. I especially love the pajama pants and got few for gifts! I'll definitely recommend this store and return again. I can't wait to see more of their fall collection!

Perhaps they had men's clothes at one point in time and they phased it out. Some stores do that. Or sometimes I bookmark businesses and the reason why I did that gets forgotten. But aside from that the merchandise is very nice and good shop situated in downtown Hood River. The clothing has kind of western style spin to it but in a classy, socializing way as opposed to western wear that is also work wear. Everyone that worked here was very nice and they had some very nice blankets that they had here for sale so that is also something to consider while out and about downtown.

Cannabis is a seasonal crop and what is available to sell in the store is dependent on lots of factors like where we are at the growing cycle, what farmers are growing and how much demand there is. Especially as a smaller store selling their own flower there will naturally be times when they have more or less flower in specific strains simply due to the supply and demand chains of cannabis. Still from my impression of going to this store every day for a week they do a good job of keeping high quality product in stock across the board and also provide excellent product knowledge and customer service. I'm tired of getting old house brands pushed on me for pre-rolls, when I ask the staff for…read more"something fresh" in pre-rolls. No less than 5 times in the last year have I gone in and asked what is good, and for something fresh in pre-rolls, the first 2 times stating exactly that, the last 3 times I have specifically told the bud-tender, "no older than 6 months". With my wife and my dog as my witness last night, I said those words and went off the bud-tender's recommendation. What did I get? Two house brand (Frontier Farms) joints recommended by the bud-tender as "fresh" that were 10 and 13 months old. I don't know if there is a locals handshake you need to give to make them listen to you or what, but the last 5 times I have said the aforementioned words, I have come away with some or all of the pre-rolls I purchased that were house brands at almost a year old, with my most recent purchase being over a year old. Yes, it's my fault for not being a condescending dick and saying, "read the harvest date to me" when they pull it out of the case, but I shouldn't have to if I've already told them "no older than 6 months". In the case last night, 12/1, my wife will back me up that the bud-tender said, "oh yeah, the Sweeties are super fresh." As you will see in the picture, it was not, and it was recognized as being old as soon as I lit up and took the first harsh drag; I then looked at the date of harvest. I get it, I don't stop in often or spend a lot of cash when I am there, but it is convenient and I enjoy the soda selection, not to mention, the staff is always friendly, but all they want to do is push old weed that is their own "house brand" on people. I know it can be tough to run a business from growing to retail with scale being the hardest balance, but pushing your own stale weed that your ag side of the business over grew does not help your retail side a year later in gaining/maintaining return customers. Flush that old crap and start anew, or sell it to the tourists in the summer, not the locals who specifically ask for better. I'll go to Evergreen from now on.

The store is loaded with boots for women and men, all lined up, many with colorful embroidered flowers or emblems. Lots of boots that come up to the knee, as well as the shorter ankle style which is more practical for every day. Along the wall on a rack, there were lots of men's shirts in colorful patterns. To me, an assortment of both Mexican and SW styles. Men's belts, many with intricate detail, caps, hats, wallets, and accessories round out the merchandise. Also shirts and jackets for women, men, and even children. While I wasn't there to purchase anything, I enjoyed checking out the merchandise. The owner, Luis, was very friendly and happy to show me around. He will even place a special order if there is something you want but he doesn't currently have it in the store. Not my style, but certainly not going to deduct stars for that.
