We were looking for a dog friendly lunch spot passing through MA on I-91 and found this place on here and it was perfect. They had a huge outdoor tent area with tons of seating. Food was all fairly good, even the kids grilled cheese. I had the pulled pork po'boy which was more of a Cajun spin on the meal and was excellent. We make this drive a few times a year so we will definitely keep it in mind for the future. Only negative is I wish they validated parking since it's in the lot of the train station. $2 for the first hour, $1 for each additional. Was getting late 8:30 ish ? Stopped in for a drink and decided to get a little something. I asked the bartender about the oysters . I said I like them larger , he recommended a certain kind, he even read off his little computer that there around 3 inches around . The biggest they had . Well they were the smallest oysters I've ever had . Maybe 1.5 inches if you stretch them . No brine , no flavor . A waist of $18 for 6 . So then I get the kobi beef hot dog with fries $12 and I didn't want the fries , still $12 for the hot dog and the bartender looked to be eating my fries . Better than throwing them away I guess ? The only reason we're giving this a two is because the live music was really enjoyable. The staff was polite. The food is subpar. The appetizer came out with the regular meal not before. The smoked wings had no smoke flavor at all and were extremely dry obviously over cooked. Matter fact they really had no flavor in general. We had two orders of the salmon one of which came charred way over cooked and very dry the other was cooked nice however the broccolini was chard and really not edible. I guess because of so many good evaluation's we must've hit this on a very poor night but I can tell you we will not be back. read more

Came for drinks and have to just say the bathroom situation is a mess. Anytime someone in our group came back there was a different story of line cutting or verbal harassment. Drinks were fine, not overly sweet if you had the fruit flavor added. Multiple times our drinks were brought over with bugs in them, which they found out came from one of the bottles of vermouth. read more

Had a great night at the deck. One of the only places with live music in Northampton. Kaitlin and Britnay were two of the best bartenders. We agreed the nachos NEED to come back to the deck. They were the best part of the deck and they abandoned that menu item. They were the best nachos in Northampton! Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. The ahi tuna was just the right size with plenty of tuna cooked perfectly. I asked for extra sauce because it was so good. My husband had the bbq burger with truffle fries. We both had a mojito, I suggest adding the flavors otherwise it is a bit underwhelming. We sat on the outside deck. Stopped here with my husband and dog on our way back from a vacation up north. Was looking for a dog-friendly eatery, and found just that in this gem, located next to the Northampton train station stop. We arrived crabby and weary from the road but our server (Jasmine, I believe) greeted us with a huge smile and was so kind to us and our pup, bringing him a bowl or water and us two ice cold waters to start. Eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs when we settled on two apps (the duck confit poutine AND the giant pretzel). Both were tasty, but could've done with just the pretzel. I had their Peace of Mind mocktail and my husband had a couple of margaritas and we had the Hickory BBQ burger while I picked at the quinoa bowl topped with shrimp (tasty, but was way too full from the apps to enjoy it). Overall, the three of us had an excellent experience and enjoyed watching folks arrive and depart from the station from the clean, airy patio. I've been to this restaurant 2x now. Both experiences were highly enjoyable. It's a laid back atmosphere for sure, and the menu is on the smaller side, but the food is phenomenal. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Very reasonable prices, and you cannot beat the quality of the food. Highly recommend. Would like to return for one of their brunches! We were sent here because no tables were available at The Tunnel. I'm sorry but this was awful. I question whether there was even any gin in my cocktail. Our cocktails were served in plastic cups. The noise level was so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation. read more

Met some friends on the deck for lunch on a beautiful summer day. They have really fixed up the Union Station and parking lot. This place is tucked back away from the street so no street noise. Train came by while we were there and several people got on and off. Good food and great service from a team of servers and the bartender. Nice selection of beers on tap, and good menu with something for everyone. The parking lot is supposed to go to pay to park, but street parking is easy to find. read more

Great place! Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights-Good live music. The wait staff is attentive and very pleasant, The food is good and ample. Plates are overflowing with yummies. Burgers, wings, nachos and more. Steak and fish dinners. All seltzers are free with large slices of fruit and as many refills as you wish. There is no rush to clear a table. You can sit and listen to the music as long as you want. Dinner there is a thoroughly enjoyable experience and it is very reasonably priced. Fresh air, good food, pleasant people. and good music.
