Hidden gem! Not too far from 91 is this great local spot. We rolled in to a Sunday afternoon and sat at a high top in the bar. We ended up ordering a whole bunch of apps which were delicious! Outstanding service from start to finish. The staff was attentive, respectful, and genuinely friendly--professional without feeling stiff. Haven't been there in years , stoped in for a drink but decided to have lunch . They have a big menu and so much to choose from. I decided to go with the steak and cheese wrap, it's the saddest steak and cheese I've ever had . It had more lettuce and tomato than steak and you couldn't even taste the little bit of steak that was in the wrap. The coleslaw was excellent ! And my GF got a salad with a burger on top, that looked great . She said it was excellent. Service was great . Need to make a better choice next time . read more

The food is good, the place is clean, the prices are really not bad. I wish they had more staff waiting tables because this poor bartender is running ragged. We stopped in late night for a bite to eat a little while back and the bartenders were extremely friendly and the food here was really, really good. I'm pretty sure everything on their menu is homemade from what it looked like! Their menu offered bar food but also classic dishes. I had the Philly cheesesteak quesadillas which were very good. Nice little setup in there with the pool tables and big bar seating area. Cook place, would recommend if you're in the area. read more

Cheap delicious food and it is fun spot! We love coming there on the weekends and the beer is a great price as well!

My wife and I went for lunch midweek. I think we both agreed that the place exceeded our expectations. The bartender was very helpful and engaged with us but didn't overdo it with us. My wife likes to spice most things up and they were very accommodating to making changes to the sandwiches (added jalapeños, spicy sauces, etc). The potato soup I had was so filling and delicious, ate like a whole meal. Decent selections of beers. We will be back to check out their dinner specials. read more

Ok, we eat out quite a bit. A huge favorite of ours is Ebenezer's! The food is excellent, quick, and hot. The service is tremendous, courteous, and always asking if everything is good. We always meet someone who we make friends with. It's just a great place to meet and chill out with an adult beverage and a great meal. Thank you Ebenezer's! Very good place to get any lunch/dinner foods, and right off the bat it's great service. They do well with COVID, and the waiter we had. Maybe the owner. Was extremely kind and attentive to us. Great Crispy Wings. The side sauce and chunky blue cheese were very good. Good beer selection. The barkeep was very friendly and did the follow-up. The cheese burger and chicken cordon bleu sandwich also looked great. The only negative was the place is very dark inside. A little more light but not too much would be nice. I like this bar. No-I love this bar. It reminds me of being back in the hills. Though the area isn't the fanciest, the staff were great, drinks and food were amazing, and the clientele was relatable and friendly as we talked across the bar. I don't understand why this place was empty because honestly I'd drive out here rather than go to any place in Westfield, west Springfield, and Holyoke. The nachos were fucking banging. I hate when nachos only have cheese on the top but these were layered with cheese and the Buffalo chicken, which by the way the Buffalo sauce was on point. We happened upon this place by mistake today, (new place we planned in trying was closed). The food was sooo good for pub food!! Wings/ onion rings/ even GREAT fries. Ice cold drafts! This place is fantastic! It is solid in every category: it has a wonderful Cheers-flavored environment, making you feel right at home whether you're just new in town, passing through or you really are a local, the staff are warm, friendly and attentive without being overbearing and the food quality is stunning considering you're at a bar (you'd think the food would be rather average but the food thinks it's coming from a restaurant dressed up as a bar). There's good music, pool tables and Keno if you're so inclined. They're now open and following CoVocalypse protocol, as well so if you're reading this, there's really no reason not to head in for one of their amazing burgers (which you can order as a quarter pounder or a dang 1/3rd of a pound if you're REALLY hungry -or- (like me) want to savor it slowly over three days...as a final sweet note, as someone annoyingly allergic to gluten, they were happily and easily able to accommodate this request so they're agreeable, too!! read more

I am a regular at ebes but there are nights where the individual who are working make the experience not the best. I wish they would treat their regulars better then they do. The food is good and I love the people who go there.
