Came here for a birthday lunch. The backyard patio looked beautiful but we opted to sit inside since it was really hot that day. It wasnt too busy and we were seated right away. We got the Gorgonzola Bread as our appitizer. This is a must order. Bread was baked with fresh garlic butter, Gorgonzola and Parmesan cheese, finished with a sweet honey drizzle. It was too good and probably my favorite thing here. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was HUGE. And it was so good. The secret sauce was kind of honey mustard-y, which I personally loved. The fries were excellent too. The Baja Fish Tacos were my wife's choice and she said they were good. The Grilled Salmon came with mashed potatoes, vegetables of the day, and a side salad. It was very fresh and well prepared. No complaints here. They have a kids menu and my son got the Mac and cheese. He really liked it. Now that his palate is slightly more sophisticated, this actually worked well because it was house made and seasoned nicely with garlic. Even two months ago, he probably would not have liked it since he preferred more Kraft style, simple preparation, so your results may vary depending on your kid. The Shirley Temple was good, exactly how it should taste, and they gave plenty of cherries. The Chocolate Mousse was decadent and delightful. Great for sharing or keeping to yourself if you are into sweets. Pricing felt fair for the quality and portions. It wasn't the cheapest meal but considering the food quality, generous portions, and overall experience, I thought it matched what we paid. The service was extremely kind, probably some of the best we have had in a while. The biggest downside was the amount of flies. Not sure why there were so many but it was noticeable. The bathroom also had a changing station for babies, which was a nice touch. Overall, this was a really good experience. Kind service, great food, and a memorable meal. The building is older and has clearly been around for a while, but that adds to the charm. I would definitely come back just for the Gorgonzola Bread. read more

Food was okay; service and environment was a total "WTH is happening here." The moment we walked in, the teen who is about to take us to a table is being reprimanded by a server for the seating arrangement of guests and distribution. Clearly, the teenager is learning. This went on for several minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement as we are standing waiting to be seated. Eventually, the server stops reprimanding the host long enough for us to be seated. From there, it got worse...service was slow, food was okay. I'll leave the additional feedback alone. All to say, my brown self is not going back there with my family...ever. read more

My girlfriend and I went to Bridgeside Grill after visiting Whitney Hill antiques in Greenfield. Have a gluten allergy. The waitress was well informed of my gluten-free options. I had a turkey sandwich with GF bread and sweet potato fries. It was basic, but very delicious and the fries were excellent. My friend had the Autumn salad with chicken. She raved about it. Spur of the moment we stopped in to have a light lunch. We opted for the patio since it was a very nice day. Waitstaff came, water/silverware and returned with specials of the day/soup of the day. RED PEPPER GOUDA CHEESE SOUP -- you need to try a cup. So delicious. We split the Buffalo wing wrap and that was equally tasty. Recommend highly. read more

We have been to the BridgeSide grill twice in the last three weeks. We have been disappointed in both visits. In one case it was a Sunday late morning and the only meals available were the "brunch menu". Eggs were overcooked and not at all as ordered. Today we again went for lunch and were severely disappointed. The chicken tenders were overcooked and inedible. The kitchen apparently skimped on chicken (80% bread 20 chicken) and were unconcerned about ultimate outcome of the meal. We recommend avoiding this location. read more

This was our first time here and were very happy. Nice, warm atmosphere with a dining room, bar, and tables in the bar area. Food was good, although my wife'buger was more well than medium. No one at the entrance to greet you. About 1:45 pm , walked in and no one looked our way. We stood there for a bit and my sister asked if we could seat ourselves. Seated ourselves and a waitress brought menus and water. That was the last we saw of any server or employee. We waited half an hour and no one came out. We left! This was not my first visit. Service has always been inconsistent but to ignore customers hoping they will leave is abominable. They actually watched us walk out. Save yourself the trouble and waste of time and go to Wild Roots down the road or Frontier Pizza, Goten if they are open is amazing. Wolfies in Deerfield is good and they have wonderful servers and good food. There are too many good restaurants in the area to settle for mistreatment. read more

I ordered the fish and chips. It was delivered to the table and smelled extremely fishy. But okay it's fish. I took a few bites and it just did t taste right. I stopped eating it and ate my fries. My husband got the Mac and cheese and the boneless chicken wings. They was both delicious. I ate some of his chicken. They were short staffed so the waitress didn't really check on us until the end and brought the check. I told her that I didn't think the fish was ok to be served and that she should tell the chef so they could check it. She was upset with me and did not remove it from the check. I disputed it again with her and stressed that most important was that she told the kitchen that the fish was maybe bad. I visited my friend who goes to UMASS. I was coming from NYC, and we decided to settle down to BridgeSide Grille, and oh man. Everything was so good. We went to go get lunch. For starters, we had the Irish Nachos, and they were delicious. The pulled pork was excellent with the chips. As the main course, I had the Foundation Burger. It was nice and juicy, and it complemented the homemade chips. The Food was so good, that we came back the next day for their breakfast. I had The Champion. The blueberry buttermilk pancake was very light and fluffy. The Champion came with bacon and eggs as well. Overall, I couldn't complain about anything, the staff were very welcoming and nice. We visited BridgeSide for Mother's Day this year. It was the first time in a long time... And we will be back again soon! Despite the fact that they lost our reservation (they accommodated us immediately, and served us quickly), it was one of the best dining experiences we've had in the Valley. Lily was our server, and she was INCREDIBLE! They were SLAMMED, with a line around the building, and she was right on it the whole time. She memorized everyone's orders and got everything correct. She was on coffee refills, and made our neurodivergent kiddo feel extra special. She would banter with them every time she visited our table, despite the fact that she was literally running from table to table. AND, the food was exceptional. this was so disappointing. everything was wayyyyy to salty and just not tasty. not happy with paying $14 for an app of tater tots and it being sooo salty could barely eat it. it has bacon and cheese! why extra salt in the seasoning. After a day at Yankee Candle (filled with disappointment) we stumbled upon this restaurant which was awesome! I ordered the Rachel (which is like the Ruben) the pastrami was great, the coleslaw tangy, the rye bread was freshly baked!!! My friend ordered a hamburger and that was yummy also! This place has better food than just "pub food". The ingredients are more complex - but in a good way. Some of our family favorites are the steak autumn salad, the grilled salmon (balsamic), the gorgonzola bread appetizer w/honey, and our special favorite dessert, the maple creme brulee! My retired teacher group has gone here several times. The food is good, the service is very good, and prices are fine. However, the last time we went (2/22) we noticed a credit card service charge on the bill. This is illegal in MA, but it seems some restaurants are now doing that. It is NOT for tips, it is for using a credit card. This practice needs to stop. We didn't even know this would be on the bill until the bill came after our meal. Furthermore, it appears to be a percentage,not a flat amount. We will not go there again until this stops, and we will alert other people about this practice. read more

At 11:52, our server came to the table. We asked about lunch menus. We were then given lunch menus, but told that "The kitchen is being Whiney today, so they won't make anything for lunch until 12:00." Are you effing kidding me? So, I ordered a breakfast burrito. The Mrs. Decided to order crab cakes, which we were told won't be started until precisely 12:00. So, oddly, the food arrived at exactly 12:00. Are they watching yelp? It was decent food. The crab cakes were frozen, but better than others I've had. The breakfast burrito was average. The service did improve before we left. Had a very nice lunch here. Atmosphere is friendly and cozy. Waitresses are down to earth and efficient. We started with fried pickle Spears which were perfectly crunchy with a batter that didn't slip off. Ranch dipping sauce made a lovely accompaniment. I had fish & chips: A perfectly crunchy piece of mild white fish and hand cut fries. My friend ordered the chicken enchilada special. She lives nearby and had ordered it before. Nicely spiced with a slight kick of heat and served with a very good Spanish rice. My grandson had the burger and fries off the kids menu. It was a nice, fat burger that he had trouble finishing, since he was saving room for dessert. The brownie sundae was more like a molten lava cake covered with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. We stopped here for breakfast when we were visiting the area. The food was amazing and the service friendly and attentive. I particularly liked that they use farm to table sourcing for many of their ingredients. I had buttermilk pancakes with wonderful real maple syrup, two eggs cooked perfectly and 2 strips of delicious bacon. My husband had a smoked salmon omelet. The cream cheese came on the side which made him very happy as he likes to adjust the amount of cream cheese he uses. The wheat bread was artisan and had a great flavor and texture. Home fries were delicious. Did I mention the coffee??? OMG, amazing!!! Roasted by a local coffee company accompanied by cream from a local farm. The best cup of coffee I've had in years! The restaurant is very homey and I love that they have outdoor seating to take advantage of the warm weather. If you're in the area give it a try, you won't be disappointed. 1st there . Went there on a Sunday . Called and said they were serving "brunch" . Got there around noon . Ordered a margarita which was great ! I was a little disappointed the menu was strictly breakfast besides a BLT . Not really brunch . But ordered the breakfast melt , and my girl ordered the eggs Benedict. Both were good . This place is the worst!!!! I have tried it on multiple occasions as it is near my house BUT THE SERVICE STINKS!!!! Food is mediocre at best, no one greets you when you come in, or says "Ill be right with you", or some similar civility. It just happened again today at 2:30 pm. The waitstaff acts like you are a bother, and why do they have to get up from behind the counter or stool and wait on you? We still have a remaining balance of $11 on a Shop30 promotion but we are going to rip it up. Too bad, it could have been a nice friendly neighborhood restaurant.
