I called for a quote and the gentleman stated it starts around $85. He said to send him photos. I sent him photos and then he tells me Tacoma doors are steel and he needs to see it in person. Eddie is the best in the business when it comes to paintless dent repair (PDR). I've used him several times over the past couple of years and he always does an excellent job. I was originally referred to him by a co-worker of mine. Eddie fixed several dings in his Ferrari which you can see on some of his advertisements including his website. I had a huge tree branch fall on the hood of my truck, and it left quite a big dent in it. Eddie, with his specialized tools and expertise, managed to get the dent out of my hood within a couple of hours and for a fair price. About a year later, somebody dinged the door on my BMW and he fixed it without issue. On my most recent visit, somebody had put a nasty dent on my driver's side rear quarter panel. He temporarily removed my tail light to get to the dent, and once he was done it was like the dent was never there. He doesn't drill holes and will use the various access points throughout your vehicle to effectively repair the dents and dings on your vehicle without causing any further damage. Eddie also offers several other services including windshield repair. He's extremely friendly, fair and prompt. I just finished grocery shopping and was putting my son into his car seat in my one-month old Chevy Equinox the other day. A woman so recklessly drove out of the parking lot but not before hitting a shopping cart on her way out. Just my luck it ended up smashing against my SUV. The damage was done to the lower front driver's side fender. The impact was so hard that it dented the metal down the seam, which prevented my driver door to open. The next day I Yelped dent removal companies and I found 3 with great reviews; 2 were mobile companies and the other was The Dent Devils. I really wanted to get this fixed because having to enter my car through the passenger side is not fun! I contacted each one within minutes of one another. The 1st mobile company was flustered and just said to text him the photos and he'll get back to me. I received a text that read, "$250 - $350 and your new suv will look great again. We come to you." I replied, "what does that entail...paint?' Their response, "No. There does not appear to be any paint damage." That was it, no follow up call or anything. The 2nd was through e-mail and they got back fairly quick for more photos. Said it would be $325 with paint because they had to drill through the metal and pop it out. Yeah, no thank you! The 3rd was The Dent Devils and Eddie got back to me within minutes of the request submission with photos. Each company got 10 different angle photos of the damage, so they had the same info to go off of. Eddie asked me some questions, gave me a breakdown of the process, and gave me an estimate. I was pleased with what I heard so I headed down to the shop to get a more accurate quote...in hopes to get my dent taken care of too. I arrived to a small, but fully equipped shop just off the 163 freeway in Kearney Mesa. Eddie took a few detailed looks at the dent, said it would be just about an hour and it would be good as new. He didn't say perfect and made it clear, because let's be honest it wouldn't be perfect or I would not be there. Eddie got to work and like an artist with a fine brush on canvas he got my dent out and looking absolutely unnoticeable in 30 minutes! I couldn't be happier with the results, how fast he got it done, and how AFFORDABLE it was! Redoing the bumper from a confrontation with an Angry Shopping Cart! Also removed a set of door dings. This guy is the real deal. It is not a big shop, but the work is the best I've seen. The owner worked on my car and did more than he was paid to do by Allstate. I worked with a guy named Eddie, who was very nice, and came across as someone who really pays attention to details. The Dent Devils, as it stands now is like a little "mom and pop store," where the people know you and actually care about what's going on. At least that was my experience. Now my insurance company on the other hand, dropped the ball, left my car there a lot longer than in needed to be, and forced the poor guy to wait while they send an adjuster out, twice. Yada, yada, etc., etc. (I have to address that in another review). But the point of it is, that the owner Eddie, who my "old" insurance company referred me to, stood by me through all the calls, faxes and bs the insurance company threw at him for 20 days. I really should buy the guy, lunch for all of the crap he had to deal with, and to top it off. He noticed a little ding in my rental and he pulled it for me in 5 minutes, while I was picking up my other car. Who freakin' does that? Just a good dude, 5 STARS for sure! read more

Some jerk dropped a Lyft scooter onto the driver side door of my brand new Jeep Wrangler JL, leaving about a 2.5" indentation and a bulge in the larger area surrounding it. I took it for a couple informal estimates at paint and body shops I knew my insurance would honor and the estimates for repair were around the $1k range, as the repair would require repainting the entire door. The color of my Jeep is "Bikini" which is a bright deep blue-green and would be difficult to color-match. As I researched repair options I found Eddie, sent him a few pics of the damage and agreed to bring the Jeep down for him to see if he could do a paintless dent repair (PDR). Eddie agreed it was something he could do and gave me an estimate within the price range of my insurance deductible, which allowed me to side-step the claim process as I was not eager to register a claim on my brand new Jeep with such a high cost cosmetic issue. Eddie had the dent repaired the day after I dropped my Jeep off. His work is very impressive - there is no buckle or indentation in the door and you would have to look very very closely to tell any damage had occurred. The doors on my Jeep are aluminum as well, and he worked that dent out by hand which I am sure took time and effort. Eddie obviously cares a lot about his work and he is awesome at what he does. Ok, for the second time my car was violated in a parking garage. She is beginning to feel like a victim. Some f**k was precious enough to rip off the exterior lock part of the handle flinging bits of her pieces across the floor. He ravaged her insides and left her there abandoned and damaged. Our helpful building man Bob notified me of the event early this morning. After having the thrill of telling dear sweet granny her/my credit card was stolen, having to cancel my accounts, learning I get to go to the DMV and have my picture taken to get a new driver's licence, getting the house rekeyed, etc.etc.etc I was DREADING the call to get the door repaired. Besides having been to a few car shops my dad worked next door to an auto repair store. So, I have seen how wonderfully they treat women. After they make the loose nut behind the wheel joke add the dumb woman discount of 150% they explain everything to you in idiot terms. Because without that y chromosome there is no way we could understand how cars work right? I started with Collision Caliber - "oh we don't give estimates". Oh, well you don't want my dollars then. Lynee temperature rising. I found Dent Devils here but I tend to stay away from places with 5 star reviews from people that have no friends and only one review. Against my better judgement I called. Eddie answers the phone himself - I appreciate this. It is nice to talk to the person in charge. Eddie asks detailed questions in a way that you can tell he talks to car idiots up to car geniuses. I.e., he explains it for a clueless person in a way that wouldn't offend someone in the know. Eddie works with people that can handle anything he can't. Eddie allows emailing of pictures to get a free estimate. Anyway, so far he has passed my girl test of being nice. Let's see if he passes the man test of fixing things properly. read more

I was driving on a freeway in LA and out of nowhere, a sharp metal object smashed into my front passenger side of my Porsche Cayman S. It had left me 2 small dents and the paint was scraped off. I tried to live with it for awhile, but it was very hard to brush it off because it was a constant reminder how ugly my car looked each and every time I pump gas into my car. I decided to turn to Yelp for help and Dent Devils had popped up in one of the searches. Eddie truly saved the day for me. I was scammed in a parking lot and had the hood of my white car painted dingy gray by two guys who claimed they could repair some bumper scrapes on the spot using touch up paint. When I realized what they were doing, it was too late, and every place I called said there was nothing that could be done to reverse the damage. Finally, thank goodness I was referred to Eddie. As soon as I brought my car in, he knew exactly what to do to fix it. I ripped out the front right bumper of my beloved 350Z backing out of a parking space next to a curb. It popped my bumper and the rubber guard off the car and the crunching sound was even worse. I got 3 estimates because I was paying out of pocket to fix it, and Eddie at Dent Devils was the cheapest and most comprehensive of all the estimates for the work that needed to be done. I've had dents and door dings removed by him before when he was in PB and downtown, so I knew he was honest and a true master of his work. He did his magic and the front of my car looks brand new! He also cleared out the buildup in my headlights (noticeably different at night!) and took out another ding on the front quarter panel from when I accidently dropped a ladder against the side of the car. I am a Automotive Tech. in Kearny mesa area and my shop sometime get an offer for a Body job from customer (Our customer base is %70 Japanese). Because of Japanese, they have a really picky eyes as well as I have(I'm also Jappanese). I have went there several times to have a Dent repair and a body work/re-paint. All work were WELL done and I have never have disappointed about their work. That was a body work for a TOYOTA FJ Cruiser(Brand new car). that did not have a data for a "Color code" yet, because was too New. When body shop guy paints your car, needs a data that tells you how to mix and make a color for your car. It is really difficult to make a color without the data. Anyway he painted one time and did it again by "himself" because he did not satisfy. Color was perfectly matched!! Very impressed with their work . I am a one of a Happy customer. Some a-hole bumped his/her vehicle into the front driver side fender of my 2009 Ford Mustang in the early morning hours leaving a noticeable dent. I was not happy about this.
