My car's key fob did not work today after a long day at the mall. I went through all the stores in the mall to get a CR1623 battery replaced, with no luck until someone suggested this store. The gentleman who helped me was really nice and asked the guy in the back if it was possible. It is possible for the price of $50. Mind you this battery is less than $5. But I was willing to over pay for this service because I needed the convenience. When I opened the battery, it looks just as scratched as the one I had originally brought in but I didn't ask to see proof of my old one or anything. I walked to my car only to find the key didn't work. I immediately called a mobile key service business to help me in case it was an issue with the key fob itself. After waiting 30 minutes for him to come rescue me, he told me my key fob is fine and that I have an old battery. After paying the second time for a battery change on my key fob, I called this Diamond Ring Co shop back to ask for a refund. They said they won't refund me but they will give me a new battery. Excuse me, but why would I want to come back? You over charged me the first time, I had to pay for another person to come do the job you were supposed to do correctly but didn't--and now you can't even do right by me by refunding me? I am just disappointed. I can't say much about their jewelry, but I can say this has left a bad impression of their business practice to me and I was hoping to be proven wrong. read more

Super scammy. I came in with a reservation for info on a couple rings and the whole time they just kept pushing the sale. Other places I've gone to seemed like they cared about the process. These guys clearly only cared about $$. The guy helping me said I could customize whatever I wanted however I wanted. But the Sean came up and gave me some BS about the diamond I wanted wouldn't work on the setting I picked - pushing me to buy one they had on hand. I contacted the wholesaler directly they said that was absolutely false and asked for the company and location that told me. The mark up was ridiculous too. I called another authorized retailer and got a quote for EXACTLY what I wanted for 15% less. Got that used car salesman feel. They even hit me with the "this is the best price I can do but only for today". lol wtf go work on auto mall if this is how you guys operate. Idk how they have such good reviews. read more

UPDATE POST OWNER'S RESPONSE: Sounds like they're trying to justify themselves by saying my watch already had scratches..The scratches made by the technician are circled in red!!! UPDATE: After reading some other reviews, I realized other people had similar feelings of being scammed by these people. Do yourself a favor and shop around before settling for less. ________________________________________________ I came here because my watch battery died and I wanted it repaired while I had the time. I assumed this place would take extra care in repairing jewelry especially since they specialize in jewelry. I was willing to pay an unreasonable price as long as they got it done and my Olivia Burton watch came back unscathed. Boy, was I wrong. Their location is conveniently located in the Westfield mall and luckily all staff members were free. One of them was able to help me in getting me a quote and told me it would only take them 15 min to replace the battery. This sounded like music to my ears compared to going with Macy's where I wouldn't get me watch back until next month. So of course I went with this store! I walked around the nearby stores and when I got back, my watch was ticking away and they set the time for me..thank you! But first thing I checked for were any new scratches. There was a thin silver line on the back of my watch and the part to remove the back was scuffed! I asked the staff member if there was a way to remove the scratches but he basically said there was no way and my watch isn't gold plated so it wasn't worth anything nor worth the effort. That was rude because someone I love dearly gifted me this watch. If I knew this would happen, I would have tried to replace the battery myself! I would save myself a trip and money. I can't speak for this store's other services, just their battery replacement department. But just be aware.
