I keep trying @ The Diner locations and each time I continue to be disappointed. This breakfast/lunch restaurant space is very crowded with options in the area and you really have to have a good differentiator to make me visit. @ The Diner consistently suffers from some of the worst bacon, service which isn't great and everything else being so-so. Each time we try a new location we say "it's fine" and then don't make it back. read more

Had a great brunch at the diner. I ordered the jumbos rancheros with Carnitas and my daughter ordered the breakfast taco with Carnitas. Both were very good. All you need is the one taco. It's huge! Tuesday December 23rd 12pm. I was in town and craving eggs Benedict for brunch. The place was full but there were approximately 6 tables empty. 2 were dirty however. I told the hostess I need seating for one. Disappointedly she said I could only sit at the bar. I then stated I don't like stools and the bar was crowded. The hostess said parties of one can only sit at the bar. I was furious. After searching online for the dish I wanted, driving there only to be told I can only sit in one area bc of it being just me was the worst customer service I ever encountered. Shocked I looked around to see if people were waiting for the empty tables but everyone was seated. The hostess continued to just look at me as if I had no other choice so I kindly turned around and walked out. Before I taste the food I expect to be treated as a valued customer. This is a solid breakfast spot! Quick service and tasty food. The inside is clean and the staff was very pleasant. I sat at the bar which lets you see into the kitchen and I loved how efficiently they work. The owner Vinny happened to be there when my best friend and I went and he was super nice and I can tell he treats his staff well. In terms of the food we really enjoyed our experience, the Boston Cream Pie Pancakes were fantastic and beautifully presented. The Loaded Biscuits were nice, but I felt there was a lot of gravy to biscuit ratio, and an additional biscuit or less gravy would have made that perfect. As the diner serves a bottomless brunch it was a little rowdy when we arrived around noon, but nothing offensive. Onto the service, when we arrived our table was a little bit messy despite it not being busy. We ordered our drinks fairly quickly with our server Josie and then our food shortly after. Our food was out fairly promptly and the pancakes looked beautiful and made with care, unfortunately my biscuits were not with some drip on the bowl, making it look a little rushed. Within a minute of our food being put down, our cheque was brought to our table, which was fairly odd as it wasn't busy and there were multiple free tables and no wait. Our server hovered around waiting for us to put a card down, checking multiple times but not doing our refills, despite mine being empty for half the meal. We had to wait for about an hour before we were seated. The restaurant was really loud and the food was mediocre at best. My entire plate of food was cold which didn't make any sense to me. The only thing that was remotely warm were the potatoes but they weren't even good. The service was good and it's the only reason I didn't rate this worse than 3 stars. We were glad that we didn't have breakfast at the hotel, otherwise we would have missed The diner. If you plan to go, make sure you have enough time. Seemed like everyone was going to the The diner between 0800-1200. A long queue but the staff was attentive and made sure that the order people came in, was the order they received table. We were a little bit lucky to get a table for 9 fairly quickly and was served by Felipe. Felipe was very attentive and service minded even though we may have giving him some curveballs along the way. What can you do with picky kids, wanting to fly to the theme parks in a jiffy! We ordered scrambled egg potatoes kids menu, avocado toast, omelette Tex, Belgian waffle and pancakes. Everything tasted great and service was excellent. The only thing I may be picky about was the smell. The smell of raw egg was all I've the restaurant. Solid, lowkey brunch spot with an extensive menu. I went midmorning midweek, and it was unfortunately fairly dead. (The only good thing about this was that the food came out very, very quickly.) Service was excellent and prompt. The food was delicious and plentiful; my chocolate chip pancakes were full of chocolate chips, and fluffy without being dense. The side of scrambled eggs wasn't dry (a common happenstance with scrambled eggs out at breakfast). The grits weren't my favorite; they were a little liquidly for my taste, but I *am* a grits snob, so I won't hold that against them. I believe this is a fairly new location; a more established location is on i-Drive. This one is closer to me and a little less busy, so I'm looking forward to going back whenever I'm in the mood for chocolate chip pancakes. :) read more

Family next to us had the same tiny single table for 4 people. Seating is not comfortable. Music was put louder and was very inappropriate, playing explicit words( p*ssy, n***a, b*itch). We are an interracial couple- black and Hispanic- we don't want to hear any of this in a public setting with families around. Food was okay, pancakes were very dry. I recently ordered takeout from @ the diner and tried the huevos rancheros. The customer service was good -- friendly and helpful -- but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The pico de gallo had absolutely no flavor, the potatoes were watery with a strange texture, no flavor, and the whole dish was lacking seasoning. On top of that, I thought $16 was a steep price for what was essentially plain potatoes, two eggs, and a single slice of avocado. I had asked the server for a recommendation, but was told to just stick with the highlighted menu items since they're the biggest sellers. I recently discovered a hidden gem in Orlando near Disney World--a fantastic breakfast spot! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted warmly by the staff, which I really appreciate in a restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly, and there was no wait time. Our waiter, Roberto, acknowledged us right away and offered us drinks. He took our order and was attentive throughout our meal. He was super nice, and the customer service was five stars all around! I've been here twice and the service has been i credible both times! It's a busy spot and while waiting, I noticed just how quickly the team works to turn the tables over.
