The Diner is just off Apopka Vineland Road and I must say conveniently accessible and located many other touristy spots. The Diner is just different and truly gives you The Breakfast Experience. They are open only until early afternoon. The servers are many and are always ready to refill your coffee and take your order. Very attentive and make sure the customer leaves happy. I truly love the fresh blueberries served up with my extra crispy Belgian waffle. They also have the most amazing juice, Citrus Peach and the most amazingly tastiest chicken sausage around town. Make sure to stop by and check them out!

Supposedly medium temp steak. 1/4 inch thin. Over-cooked like hell

Came here during son's volleyball week because of the decent ratings on yelp...our particular experience was a tad less than stellar. First of all, being that its holiday weekend it was unbeatable they'd be busy. We chose the bar seating because we were in a time crunch with about a hour to spare for food. It took about ten minutes for server to serve us. I ordered a steak and eggs. Medium steak. Over medium eggs. It then took about 20 minutes for food to arrive. What arrived was the saddest piece of super thin, over-cooked steak in my life. Due to the fact that we were rushing for time, I chose to not make a big fuss about the food. Ate what I could tolerate and called it a lesson. Your mileage may vary

This place was so good that we visited both days we were in town. I got the eggs Benedict both days. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and they were well seasoned. The Benedict had the best balance of toppings and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Even the bacon was crispy, but not overcooked. It wasn't fatty either. The iced lattes were delicious too and a nice treat. Servers were super friendly. Sunday there was a wait, but it went fairly quickly and they have a waitlist online that you can track your progress. During the week on a Monday we were seated right away.

Yelp Review: The Diner - Orlando, FL We stopped into The Diner near Walt Disney World for a quick weekday brunch adventure. Tucked just off the freeway, parking was surprisingly easy for a Tuesday, always a win when you're balancing park plans and Florida heat! The vibe? Classic diner meets Florida flair. Service was...fine. Nothing magical, but not terrible either. The menu is decent has variety, and breakfast is served all day, which is always my love language. We went full brunch mode and ordered: * Boston Cream Pancakes - sweet, fluffy, and the Nutella drizzle was a whole moment. Think dessert-for-breakfast and absolutely worth it. * Beneffle - a creative twist on eggs Benedict using waffles instead of English muffins. Cool idea in theory, but in practice? Just so salty. Between the bacon, ham, and hollandaise, it was a salt bomb. Not my fave. The house potatoes had a nice spice blend...very unexpected, but a solid sidekick. Now the not-so-magical part: it was freezing in the restaurant. Like, bring-a-hoodie kind of cold. Within minutes, our food went from hot to hypothermic, which definitely dulled the experience. I'm not here for brunch with a side of frostbite. Overall, The Diner was fine, creative menu, okay service, and solid sweet options. But unless you're craving pancakes with personality and don't mind dining in a walk-in freezer, I wouldn't call it a must-visit. Cute concept, but more meh than magic.

First time here and the service was fantastic. The food it self was amazing so fresh and tasty I love that they got large portions and the food is good quality. It a welcoming experience in the restaurant and the workers are friendly and kind. Very family oriented and not to loud. The Mimosa was great I'll definitely be back for the bottomless $27.00

First visit, selected due to location and short lunch break, and was glad it was enjoyed by both of us. Breakfast & Lunch menu were available all day, prices very reasonable and portions were generous. I enjoyed the Turkey club, lots of flavor! Favorite was the thin wedge fries, served warm, crispy, and great side with sandwich.

I visited @ The Diner for the first time while in town on vacation, and it did not disappoint! It's tucked at the end of a small shopping center with plenty of parking. We had about a 15-minute wait, which was totally reasonable for a late morning visit. Our server, Quay, was friendly and attentive. The food came out fresh and hot, and everything we ordered was delicious. Some of our table favorites were the Tex Mex Omelette, iced caramel latte, and the create-your-own breakfast. Portions were generous, and the prices were really affordable for the amount of food we got. Bonus points for the music playing in the restaurant! I caught myself dancing a little in my seat while eating.

Do NOT sleep on this spot! Expect a bit of a wait no matter the day or time but it's 100% worth it. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful & beautifully prepared. The coffee came out piping hot which was highly welcomed as we jumped into the Disney Half Marathon weekend. The steak & eggs were spot on & cooked exactly to our preferred temperature. The Chocolate Dubai waffles were next-level decadence, perfect for sharing w/2-4 people! The best part is that the pistachio & chocolate are layered between the slices, giving you a sweet, crunchy bite every single time. The eggs Benedict were perfectly assembled & the house potatoes were cooked thoroughly & ideally crispy on the outside finish. Can't wait to come back the next time we're in town an absolute must try!

This place was amazing. My friends and I perused the menu on our wait (oddly there were empty tables and no other people when we entered but a group did show....) but by time we sat we knew exactly what we were splitting. The Dubai waffle (not sure anyone could eat the whole thing), bacon benny, and the steak and eggs. The coffee is strong (lavazza) and the food was incredible. We wanted to come back for every meal.

A really delicious spot to eat breakfast food. Everything was so good! I got the breakfast platter with three eggs, grits, toast, home fries, chicken sausage and boston cream pancakes. The boston cream pancakes were the highlight of the meal. It was creamy and had the perfect amount of toppings on it. The pancake was buttery. I would have gone back if there was time on our trip. There were so many other unique flavors I wanted to try on my pancake. Well, I guess next time!

Date of visit: March 3, 2025 Oh Yelpers, why did you steer me so wrong? We needed a place to hit on our way to the airport on our last day in the Orlando area and this eatery was along the "avoiding the tolls" route and was highly-rated, but this was not a great experience and I wish I had chosen a different restaurant as it was a sour note on an otherwise great trip. We were "greeted" by Kenzie and served by Leina. Leina was friendly enough but did a poor job of explaining charges for the meal: I ordered the Cinnamon Swirl Combo listed on the board outside but after receiving the bill, found that the $0.50/egg surcharge was added to the price. I understand and support the surcharge but we would you add this on top of the price listed on your daily specials board when it's not actually on the menu? Just say it's $18.99. Then I asked for cheese on my scrambled eggs and that was a $1.29 surcharge that was not mentioned. Given that price, I would have expected my eggs to be drowning in cheese but that was not the case--there was no need for a life jacket here! In fact, most of my mal was potatoes that I did not care for. They were very oniony and cold, not even room temperature, cold. My french toast was decent, but small for the price. Adding to the meal was a show as Kenzie made snide comments to Leina throughout the meal. #goodtimes

oh my heavens, I wish I lived close by this place. nothing came to the table that wasn't amazing. Everything had an amazing smell and looked like it was dropped in right from heaven. we enjoy the food and fast service staff was very welcoming. food was top-tier and prices were just right. We had a large party and didn't have to wait long to get seated. They turned the tables pretty quickly and this location was very clean.

It is a family owned restaurant founded by New York natives who noticed a gap in Central Florida for high quality, authentic New York style diner food. The original location opened on Universal Boulevard in the Lake Cay area, near Universal Orlando and SeaWorld. The restaurant quickly became popular with both locals and vacationers looking for an alternative to the standard hotel breakfast buffet. Following the success of the Universal Boulevard location, the owners expanded to additional Central Florida locations, including Lake Buena Vista and Dr. Phillips. The Diner has gained attention for its creative twists on classic comfort food. One of its signature dishes is the Bennyffle a combination of Eggs Benedict served over a waffle. The menu also features specialty cereal pancakes, including Fruity Pebbles and Oreo Crunch, along with classics such as chicken and waffles. In July 2026, the Universal Boulevard location even became the center of a viral national news story after a family of seven including children reportedly walked out on a $298.47 breakfast bill. The story highlighted how hard family businesses work and how an incident like this can affect them. I recently met up with a group of friends at The Diner for brunch. The Diner can get crowded, and they do not take reservations. I am grateful that one of my friends arrived very early to wait for a table for our group. The diner offers a selection of coffee drinks as well as alcoholic beverages, making it a festive spot for brunch. Since I had a long day ahead, I stuck with coffee and ordered the signature chicken and waffles. The combination was delicious. The crispy, savory fried chicken was the perfect partner to the soft, buttery waffles, while the warm, sweet maple syrup contrasted to the salty chicken. It was a very large portion and I really enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating when we needed several separate checks. I loved my visit to The Diner, and the experience was made even better by sharing brunch with a great group of friends. Good food, friendly service, and even better company made for a memorable morning.

I love the sweet, salty, and savory altogether. The five and Dime is another hit and I think their signature sandwich. It is like the farmer but instead of apple butter it has gravy and it also has an egg. They also have some pretty good waffles, which is what I get for my kid when I take him here. Their tea and coffee selection is robust. The only downside is that as they have gotten bigger and they have lost some of their personal touches. They used to ask me funny questions and would use that to help find you to give you your order. They might ask who your favorite superhero was and call you that way. Now they just give you a number like everywhere else. The other downside is the price is on the high side and seems to have increased more as of late. Food is really good though.

We also got one topped with chocolate chips for the table, a solid move if you like dessert-for-breakfast energy. Coffee flowed, syrup poured, and my plate looked like the kind of meal you would see in a road trip montage. Service was friendly and quick. The place had its usual kind of organized chaos vibe. Tables are close, the grill is sizzling non stop, and you might have to tune out the chatter around you. Honestly that is part of the charm. Overall, this Waffle House hit the spot. Nothing groundbreaking, but if you are craving a no frills greasy spoon breakfast that will actually fill you up and make you happy, you are in the right place.
