Came here during son's volleyball week because of the decent ratings on yelp...our particular experience was a tad less than stellar. First of all, being that its holiday weekend it was unbeatable they'd be busy. We chose the bar seating because we were in a time crunch with about a hour to spare for food. It took about ten minutes for server to serve us. I ordered a steak and eggs. Medium steak. Over medium eggs. It then took about 20 minutes for food to arrive. What arrived was the saddest piece of super thin, over-cooked steak in my life. Due to the fact that we were rushing for time, I chose to not make a big fuss about the food. Ate what I could tolerate and called it a lesson. Your mileage may vary

The Diner is just off Apopka Vineland Road and I must say conveniently accessible and located many other touristy spots. The Diner is just different and truly gives you The Breakfast Experience. They are open only until early afternoon. The servers are many and are always ready to refill your coffee and take your order. Very attentive and make sure the customer leaves happy. I truly love the fresh blueberries served up with my extra crispy Belgian waffle. They also have the most amazing juice, Citrus Peach and the most amazingly tastiest chicken sausage around town. Make sure to stop by and check them out!

Came in on a Sunday around brunch time. Food was amazing and service was phenomenal! Food came out quickly and waitress came around often to ask if we needed anything. 10/10 recommend.

This place was so good that we visited both days we were in town. I got the eggs Benedict both days. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and they were well seasoned. The Benedict had the best balance of toppings and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Even the bacon was crispy, but not overcooked. It wasn't fatty either. The iced lattes were delicious too and a nice treat. Servers were super friendly. Sunday there was a wait, but it went fairly quickly and they have a waitlist online that you can track your progress. During the week on a Monday we were seated right away.

Yelp Review: The Diner - Orlando, FL We stopped into The Diner near Walt Disney World for a quick weekday brunch adventure. Tucked just off the freeway, parking was surprisingly easy for a Tuesday, always a win when you're balancing park plans and Florida heat! The vibe? Classic diner meets Florida flair. Service was...fine. Nothing magical, but not terrible either. The menu is decent has variety, and breakfast is served all day, which is always my love language. We went full brunch mode and ordered: * Boston Cream Pancakes - sweet, fluffy, and the Nutella drizzle was a whole moment. Think dessert-for-breakfast and absolutely worth it. * Beneffle - a creative twist on eggs Benedict using waffles instead of English muffins. Cool idea in theory, but in practice? Just so salty. Between the bacon, ham, and hollandaise, it was a salt bomb. Not my fave. The house potatoes had a nice spice blend...very unexpected, but a solid sidekick. Now the not-so-magical part: it was freezing in the restaurant. Like, bring-a-hoodie kind of cold. Within minutes, our food went from hot to hypothermic, which definitely dulled the experience. I'm not here for brunch with a side of frostbite. Overall, The Diner was fine, creative menu, okay service, and solid sweet options. But unless you're craving pancakes with personality and don't mind dining in a walk-in freezer, I wouldn't call it a must-visit. Cute concept, but more meh than magic.

First visit, selected due to location and short lunch break, and was glad it was enjoyed by both of us. Breakfast & Lunch menu were available all day, prices very reasonable and portions were generous. I enjoyed the Turkey club, lots of flavor! I visited @ The Diner for the first time while in town on vacation, and it did not disappoint! It's tucked at the end of a small shopping center with plenty of parking. We had about a 15-minute wait, which was totally reasonable for a late morning visit. Our server, Quay, was friendly and attentive. The food came out fresh and hot, and everything we ordered was delicious. Some of our table favorites were the Tex Mex Omelette, iced caramel latte, and the create-your-own breakfast. Portions were generous, and the prices were really affordable for the amount of food we got. Bonus points for the music playing in the restaurant! I caught myself dancing a little in my seat while eating.

Do NOT sleep on this spot! Expect a bit of a wait no matter the day or time but it's 100% worth it. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful & beautifully prepared. The coffee came out piping hot which was highly welcomed as we jumped into the Disney Half Marathon weekend. The steak & eggs were spot on & cooked exactly to our preferred temperature. The Chocolate Dubai waffles were next-level decadence, perfect for sharing w/2-4 people! The best part is that the pistachio & chocolate are layered between the slices, giving you a sweet, crunchy bite every single time. The eggs Benedict were perfectly assembled & the house potatoes were cooked thoroughly & ideally crispy on the outside finish. Can't wait to come back the next time we're in town an absolute must try!

This place was amazing. My friends and I perused the menu on our wait (oddly there were empty tables and no other people when we entered but a group did show....) but by time we sat we knew exactly what we were splitting. The Dubai waffle (not sure anyone could eat the whole thing), bacon benny, and the steak and eggs. The coffee is strong (lavazza) and the food was incredible. We wanted to come back for every meal.

A really delicious spot to eat breakfast food. Everything was so good! I got the breakfast platter with three eggs, grits, toast, home fries, chicken sausage and boston cream pancakes. The boston cream pancakes were the highlight of the meal. It was creamy and had the perfect amount of toppings on it. The pancake was buttery. I would have gone back if there was time on our trip. There were so many other unique flavors I wanted to try on my pancake. Well, I guess next time!

Tried this place after it popped up near the Hilton I was staying at and figured it'd be worth checking out. We were quoted a 45-minute wait, so we went over to Bora Bora in the same shopping center to grab coffee while we waited--great spot by the way, super clean and excellent service. About 50 minutes later, we got the notification our table was ready and headed back. Once seated and ready to order, we were told we had to throw away our $10 coffees from the other place. The server even called the manager, who confirmed it. After waiting nearly an hour, being told to toss drinks we just paid for before we could even order is unacceptable. I got up and walked out. Really disappointing experience.

Had the Chicken and biscuits w/Sausage gravy and oh my goodness it was fantastic. Might clog the arteries but what a way to go. Biscuits were awesome, gravy flavorful and the chick cooked perfect. Not over done at all. Rose our server was very friendly and efficient. Needed three separate checks, wasn't an issue in the least. I'll be back for sure and tell everyone!!!! read more

This has been the best brunch experience I have ever had! You can tell the team loves their job and who they work with/for. Food is always fire but the people who work there definitely make the place. Our server Sam was the bomb but her coworkers quay, Leona, Kevin, mesha, rosemary, Johnny, rose and Benny the big boss were just the best!! Love the vibes!!! Went on a family trip this week and had a great time this Saturday! We started our day off at brunch with our server Quay. He was so energetic and fun. He continuously checked in on us and made sure we were stocked up on our bottomless mimosas! Thanks Quay the Food was so good, I'm still thinking about it!! I have the Belgian waffle and bacon with grits, so Yummy!!! This place is super busy and it easily overwhelms ALL employees. The hostess asked for people in line coming in the door to move further inside so people leaving could exit. She told the people in front of us the wait time and that the bar seating was open. They went to sit at the bar. She completely ignored us and skipped us and greeted the family that came in behind us. Once she acknowledged us, we asked if we could too sit at the bar. The bar area sits 8 people. There was already a party of 2, and then the 2 in front of us, and then an additional 2 after we sat down. The servers did not acknowledge the new 3 groups of 2. Once they did, they greeted the people that sat down last, and got their drink orders and walked away. Once they came back they greeted the people they should have served first. Drinks were very slow. I asked for a coffee and a water. My partner asked for a coffee. They coffees came out, the water did not. Another server walked by and asked if we were ready to order. We ordered the Bennyffle and the Benny Club, and again, I asked for a water. The water never came until my partner asked for it a third time. No ice? Other peoples food sat in the window FOREVERRRRR. My partner's meal (Bennyffle) was okay. Eggs were poached correctly. The Benny Club... both eggs were overcooked. One was over medium and the other over HARD. I told the server and told him I didn't expect anything by telling them. Just that I wanted them to be aware of the inconsistencies. He ended up taking the meal off the ticket. That was a very nice gesture. Both plates were lukewarm. Meh. read more

Friendly service. No cream for coffee and forced to order latte. How can a brunch spot not have cream for coffee? Latte was okay but looked weird. Chicken and waffles good. Eggs Benedict not good at all. Watery hollandaise sauce with little flavor. Biscuits and gravy not fresh and tasted yucky. If you decide to eat there, get chicken and waffles. read more

What a joke! Beware of Influencers Over Hype for this one. Last time I take a TikTok recommendation. The place is Small, and I mean small. They were stuffing people in tables. No space for literally anything. As soon as you walk in it's complete eyes on you. There is no place to wait. They had a random assortment of chairs (3 chairs) for people waiting and they were shoulder to shoulder with customers at their tables. You couldn't even talk because everyone on the other end of the restaurant could see you. The food is over hyped nothing special. The server never told us his name but it didnt matter because we barely saw him anyway. Behind the bar they were all laughing and chatting while multiple angry customers waited on their food. Not to mention a 55 min wait for 2 people... Just completely unacceptable. It seemed like they only catered to a certain demographic, and I hate to be that person but it was blatantly obvious. What shouldve been a good dining experience was a waste of my money and time. Just go to 1908 across the street or even Keke's is better than this read more

The diner was extremely over priced and not that great. Cost me 20 bucks for 2 eggs, bacon and toast. I didn't get one refill on my water. The huevos rancheros my girlfriend got was also a 20 dollar meal for some potato's(which were undercooked), eggs, and a tiny bit of chicken. The avocado toast with tomato was 17.00!!! The Diner is unrealistic on price and the service may be friendly but the service is horrible with no water refills and left with no checking up on you until the end. read more

The food was so delicious! I completely recommend to those who want a really good breakfast or lunch. It came so fast it was as if we had never even had time to order! The service was amazing, our waitress was extremely nice and when she made a small mistake on one of our company's orders, she took the plate back almost immediately and brought back a new plate with the right order. The ambiance was really nice, it was a little loud but not too loud, and it was nice and relaxing and very at home and it was like a Sunday morning brunch right at your kitchen counter! Again, like I recently said, I would completely recommend to those who want a nice quick breakfast ! The food here is amazing and it speaks for itself but what I really think makes this place the best is the service. I had the chance of sitting at the counter and watch the team work and they are a well oiled machine. Everyone is incredibly nice and attentive. It's honestly a great experience. We eat out often and to be honest, the menu looks amazing, however, the food is just ok. The omelette was overcooked and dry. The bagel w/ham, egg, cheese and bacon was average, and....we were charged $4.99 additionally for a piece of ham on the bagel. Also, charged for cheese, charged extra for eggs. The bill was $52 for a bagel and an omelette, and a couple of coffees (one regular and the other was an upgraded mocha). read more

Came here for breakfast. The restaurant was very busy and only had a few servers but they were working hard to make sure everyone was being taken care of. I had the Greek omelette and my husband had the create your own breakfast with the pancake. We both enjoyed our meals. Food was fresh and very good. Servers kept my coffee cup full. I was able to eat my biscuits with jam and they were still great! We also tried the smashbrowns for the first time. They were filling and I definitely couldn't eat more than one or two. Overall the food was yummy and the service was quick. The price was a little high for biscuits but I good splurge if it's what you are craving!

Very French right? lol. I was patient. I waited in a long line and finally ordered with a smile. I got the croissant and cappuccino "for here" and the croissant "to go." I saw there were no open tables except for the 2 outside and today in FL, we are just coming off the freeze and it's 40 degrees out. I used the restroom and as I came back, a table was about to open. I stood at the counter and I believe the owner ( not the woman who took my order) asked me if my coffee and food was "to go." I said, " no just the croissant, my food and coffee are for here." So now by this time other people have ordered and he is just now prepping my cappuccino "for here." Now, this isn't his fault but, because of the lack of space, it creates a hostile environment. I turn around and see the long order line and a couple that stood up to leave. So I walk over to take the "now open" table and I kid you not, a woman jumped in front of me, hands out and says, " can i take this table?" She hadn't even ordered yet and had she not been so rude, I guarantee I would have been done eating by the time she even got food. She was in the back of the line. I just said, " sure" and spun on my heel and went back to the counter. Maybe I should have said "no, I was here first" but I don't like hostility. Everyone can hear and see this happening, as it's a small, quiet place. I guess when you're alone, people don't value you as a person. Same with flights and theaters. I get back to the counter, and I ask him if I should sit down ...or do I wait at the counter for my food...? And he looked at me and was like "well there aren't any tables", at that moment, another table opens up and another single woman snags it! Hasn't even ordered! Then he says, "well there's one outside." I decide to take my now delivered coffee and sit outside. It made my coffee cold almost instantly so, I grab a sugar packet, toss it in, and chug it back. I walk in, and I then say "excuse me, could you just make my order to go?" He says yes, and a few minutes later I get my order and leave. I had to drive 25 mins to get home but, I WILL say it was still good! Even the "to-go" box is plant based and biodegradable. My ADVICE!!!! And I hope you take it! Get rid of the tables. You can have 2 outside, that's fine, but you'd be better off with a bar setting with stools all around the perimeter and a coffee station for additional things like creamer, sugar and cinnamon. This needs to be more of a grab and go place and even some Starbucks locations have implemented this. Make it friendly for single people, not families. Bar seating inspires quick service. Thank you! Cons- There is ALWAYS a weird perm smell when you go. It literally smells like someone is perming their hair, so not good. Another con is sometimes it takes long to get your food. Some of the prices do not match their menu, not sure when they raised their prices but I have never ever heard of a patacon costing almost $26 anywhere, and I frequent a lot of Venezuelan spots. Their name went from Q'Kenan restaurant to Q'Kenan Steakhouse so maybe now they just raised all the prices, I don't know. Their most expensive patacon on the menu is the one with Picańha and it says $17...yet I got charged 25.90. Regardless of how good something is, there shouldn't be a $9 difference from what is on the menu. That is absurd. On my last trip- $43 for an empanada, tequeńos and a patacon just doesn't sound right for Venezuelan food, and I come from living in Miami where restaurants are supposed to be more expensive. Add a tip and you're paying over $50 for street food. That's wild.

You pay ahead of time and they do prompt you to tip. There was only one guy working and he spent at least 5 minutes preparing my order. After watching him make my order I wondering if I should have left a bigger tip. Warning: The parking lot for this restaurant is shared with Arcade Time Entertainment plus other businesses and depending on the time of day it can be challenging to find a space.

I had a delightful breakfast experience at @ The Diner! I ordered the white cheese omelette and jazzed it up with some bacon and jalapeños. The omelette turned out to be great, packed with flavor in every bite. However, the potatoes on the side were a bit bland and could definitely benefit from more seasoning. To round off my meal, I indulged in a short stack of pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy with those irresistibly crispy edges--just the way I like them! Don't miss out on the cranberry mimosa; it's the perfect blend of strength without being overpowering. Also, a huge shoutout to our server, Quay, who was super attentive, accommodated our needs seamlessly, and added a personal touch to our dining experience. The biscuits and gravy were very peppery and the strawberries on both the French toast and in the fruit bowl were starting to rot and were slimy. The waiter was super nice but busy and didn't come to check on us until we already had the bill that was dropped off by someone else. When he finally came to collect the bill he apologized for being so busy and asked how everything was? So we told him. He did go tell the kitchen about the strawberries and he said they are fixing now. $57 with tip for two people= mediocre meal read more

The Diner has hands down the best breakfast in town! Whether it's their fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, or crispy bacon, everything is always spot on. I've been here multiple times, and the quality is consistently amazing. On my last visit, I was lucky to have Kristie as my server, and she was incredible!
