Regardless of all the changes that have been happening in this side of town La Tuna has stayed present and highly supported by all locals. I have so many amazing memories in this business and I do hope it stays open forever. They carry a wide variety of beer and other alcoholic beverages. They have also expended and have built multiple indoor spots where you can watch your favorite sport games. They also have a beer of the day deal which is amazing, and sell beer to go. The chips were thicker than usual but still good, and while the salsa had decent flavor, it had almost no heat at all. We also ordered guacamole without onions, but it came across very bland and could've used more lime, seasoning, and some jalapeño to brighten it up. My wife did enjoy her strawberry margarita, which was both flavorful and noticeably strong. I ordered the mole enchiladas and found the mole sauce surprisingly flat and lacking depth. Other dishes around the table were described as just okay overall, although the kids were very happy with the thick, fluffy pancakes. The biggest issue was timing. We didn't receive our entrees until almost 3:00 PM, which made for a very long wait, especially with kids at the table.
