Came in here for a friend's birthday party this past weekend. I had never been to this bar before or even heard of it so was excited to check it out (even though I'm pregnant and can't drink right now haha). This bar is really nice and much bigger than it looks from the outside. They have pool tables and a stage where there was a live band playing later that night that was really good. I loved that when they band was on that they also had them on the TV screens. The girl that was our server was really nice but seemed a bit scattered and overwhelmed by the crowd that was there. My husband got to try their tiramisu pudding shot and he said it was damn good. I was so jealous, it looked so good. I ended up just having water. The first time my husband got me the water at the bar and it was a bottled one. Later I did try to order another water from our server and she asked if we had a tab open. I was confused by it because I just wanted the tap water and she said that she was told she needs to sell bottled water instead... I found that really offputting. Not her fault at all, but whatever management told her that, I found it really weird. I'm pregnant and in a bar, but beside that, for people drinking, you can't just provide them water? I've never seen that happen at a bar and seems kinda unsafe if you ask me. Well $4 bottled water later.... hahaha. So odd. I also tried to order the smores but they were out. Bummer. But my family ordered wings, cheesburgers and mozarella sticks. I had some of the mozzarella sticks. They were okay. I did like the panko crust though. I don't know if I'd come back here again after I have the baby. The water thing was really offputting to me. But the vibe here is really fun! Stage is a decent size and risen up. Bands enjoy playing there I hear. I also see the great shows often Had the nachos. Decent! I enjoy pirate karaoke there as well as bike nights. We live close in Salt Lake City, so we are in Vegas a number of times a year. We frequent the bar across the street but on this particular day that bar was closed for a private event, so for shits we decided to check out The Bonfire and we are so glad we did!! We love dive bars, sports bars and video poker so this place was right up our alley! We love the online player's club so you don't need to bring a card every time and can just log in for points! And our bartender - Danielle - what an awesome, fun person and made our visits so much fun! We are now "besties" and can't wait to come back for the VP, and fun vibes and food! OMG, the food! We ordered their triple dipper with fresh made chips and the birria tacos... Absolutely amazing. So good that we came back the next day and got the same thing! What a cool find! I was just looking for something to eat, but I was blessed to discover so much more. Bonfire is a cool, dive bar. Located close to several prominent clubs, it seems to have carved a sweet little niche out for itself with a cool vibe and good service! I sat at the bar and enjoyed some birria tacos, recommended by Kaylah, the bartender. She ran a good shift, keeping people fed and cocktails wet all night. Plus, she has a great attitude! Bonfire is a hidden gem worth every bite From the outside, you'd never guess what's waiting inside Bonfire, but once you step in...wow! We started with the Chips & Dip Trio, and let me just say: best chips and dips I've ever had, and I've eaten at some pretty high-end places, too. The chips were hot, crispy, and clearly just fried, none of that stale, bagged nonsense. The cheddar cheese dip was ooey, gooey perfection, the guacamole was bright, chunky, and fresh with big pieces of avocado, and the salsa hit that perfect balance of spice and tang without being overpowering. Then came the tacos, Birria and Carne Asada. The birria meat was tender and rich, the shell lightly crisped and not greasy at all. The carne asada tacos were loaded and seasoned just right. Jeff ordered the Smoke Show cocktail, and it lived up to the name, the cloud of smoke when he lifted the lid was impressive. You could smell the smoke but didn't taste it, just a smooth, well-balanced drink. The place itself? Spotless. You can tell they care about cleanliness, the menus were actually clean (I love when a restaurant gets it). The vibe is hole in the wall, relaxed, and the staff was genuinely friendly and on top of everything. Don't let the humble exterior fool you...Bonfire is the real deal. We were looking for some quarter bar pool tables. Nice place. 3 Good bar size tables, good pool queues, chalk. Nice and clean inside. Good service at bar and at pool tables. Sassy, spunky bartenders. A cool local rock band came on stage little around 9, 1st set was classic rock tunes everyone would know. and they sounded good. Amps and speakers were tuned in - not too loud to deafen patrons. Ample parking and friendly folks out and about. Close to the Virgin and on the way in from the airport. We'll be back when in town. read more

Came for battle of the bands on Wednesday night and we enjoyed the vibe of the place. We started the night off with a midori sour and Modelo, took a seat, then waited for the bands to come on. The midori and Modelo were great. The waitress came by and asked if we wanted to order anything more and my husband ordered a budweiser and I asked for water. I saw other customers with cups of tap water and assumed this was what I was ordering. The waitress took our card, charged it, then brought back two water bottles. I let her know that I wanted cups of water like the customers at the table in front of us had and she stated that "after the bands come on we don't give out water in cups." What does that even mean and what would the reason for this be?? I found this very odd and wished she would have either brought the bottles of water before taking our card or let us know it would be water bottles. We ended up paying $3 per bottle of water that we will probably just end up taking home. It's not a huge deal obviously, but it's pretty annoying since I would have just went and got my water in the car if I knew we would be charged for water bottles instead of just being given tap like most bars do. We stopped in after a show at the Virgin since we were hungry. The reviews were so good, and we were so skeptical when we were walking there. That night they had a special event (dark carnival?) so there were some random things being setup which was entertaining (think a duck and bathtubs, and large balloon poodles). Our server was great- she was super busy and gave us all shots to apologize which was nice. Now the food. It was soooo good! We had a grouo of 6 and EVERYONE loved the food. Went to the bar for a special event. We took over almost the entire bar. The service was a little slow but there were only two bartenders and two servers. My sister being a mozzarella stick expert said they were crispie and tasty. Floors being sticky and bathroom being not so perfect is expected at dive bars. We had a blast doing kareoke and several raffles to support a good cause. The velvet moon band opened at 9.30 and was full of energy. Half of our group cleared out within the first 30 min of their set and they didn't care they still played on. read more

I visited this bar last night with a group of friends. The servers--Kayla and Nate--were friendly, funny and attentive, and Kayla makes excellent mocktails. PJ was also polite and professional. Their service is the reason this establishment is receiving two stars rather than one. Unfortunately, the overall experience was overshadowed by the behavior of a man who repeatedly went behind the bar while visibly intoxicated, which made our group uncomfortable. When I politely mentioned that he was sitting in a barstool that belonged to another patron who was briefly away, his response was dismissive and rude. His response to me was "Yeah, I know and her name is Brie". As the evening continued, this individual--who identified himself loudly and repeatedly as the owner--entered the bar area multiple times, behaved aggressively, and shouted profanities, including telling patrons, "I'm the owner of the bar, and if you don't like it, get the f-- out." This behavior caused members of my mixed-gender group, particularly the women, to feel unsafe and uncomfortable. I later confirmed with staff and other patrons that this individual is indeed one of the owners, named Russ. Several employees appeared visibly embarrassed by his behavior, and other regular patrons commented that this conduct was not unusual. Russ had behaved like this not long ago. I have never experienced a situation where a bar owner openly berated and chased away customers without cause. One female patron who was also shouted at shared that she had witnessed similar behavior in the past. PJ, the other owner, later apologized for the incident and acknowledged that a negative review was understandable under the circumstances. I attempted to speak with Russ privately, but he left the premises with friends before that was possible. To the ownership (Russ): customers are the foundation of any successful business. The only reason I would consider returning is due to the professionalism and customer service demonstrated by PJ and the staff. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful change. read more

Early dinner - we beat the Sat night crowd lol! Two biker dudes opened this bar in May, just a few months ago and the reviews are SPOT ON! Rosie the bar manager was very cool - let us know this 24 hour restaurant has events 7 days a week and usually starts to get busy after 8:00 pm. Reservations accepted but not necessary. Plenty of free parking! Rosie mentions Thursday & Sunday nights sound like the best times to visit. Thursday nights with their house band Velvet Moon. Sunday's are great for Brown's games and Line Dancing. See the website for other events throughout the week. We ordered the Steak Sandwich and The Bonfire Burger. Both were delicious but let me tell you about that Steak Sandwich. Came toasted on sourdough bread but what they don't mention on the menu is there is some sort of MAGICAL BONFIRE SECRET SAUCE on it that will have you thinking whaaaaat is THIS?! 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to have dinner before attending the Brad Garret Comedy Club, Brown's fans, bikers, first dates, and musical professionals looking for a place to chill after hours. Love this happy hour + live music! What a fun local hangout. Great happy hour specials, awesome service, cool vibe with live music (starting around 8pm) and no cover! Even regular (non-happy hour) pricing is very reasonable for great quality food & drinks. Newly renovated, spacious, great pool tables, nice clean bathrooms. Appears to have plenty of free parking in their lot, at least if you arrive early (like before 7pm on a Saturday). Perfect spot for a casual after-work hangout, catch a game, meet up with friends... But as a former food server and bartender for years...you can absolutely NOT justify this new wave of being forced tip a certain amount. Especially STARTING at 18% for pouring jack and cokes. The Bonfire is an iconic Venue here in Las Vegas. As a show producer and performer we really like working with PJ . Now, as a customer, I really have to say Bonfire LV checks all the boxes. It's a welcoming space and the staff is super friendly. I feel the drinks are reasonable which is a big deal in Vegas. Everyone raves about the food at Bonfire and I have to concur. I have had several items from Burgers to Salad. You will be happy with their menu! If you want a fun night go there and eat dinner and have drinks. The shows they present are great!
