Dive bar like with indoor barstools and outside seating. The outside seating is pretty nice. They're like picnic tables very casual to socialize and catch a drink. This was a brief stop after an elopement style wedding. Many of my friends ordered a drink here. Had a good time.

Cool spot to end a night. The drinks here are fairly reasonable, way better than strip prices. It's a short walk from Fremont, the area can be a bit sketchy at night, but we didn't feel unsafe.

Historic bar located in downtown Las Vegas a few blocks from the Fremont St., District. Walking in here is like walking back in time. It still has a very 1960s rat pack feel to it. Legend is Sinatra and Dean Martin used to drink here during their heyday. There is a great selection of house made cocktails, as well as local beers. This place is a must see especially if you're in town for only a few days. We are locals and we still love to come here. You will find a mix of locals and tourists.

I never can drink beer (or barely any alcohol) but the sour beer here is really good and refreshing. It's very dark inside but they also have a nice outdoor seating. Fun place to get some conversations with other guests or the bartenders.

A legendary dive that has stood the test of time. Atomic Liquors is a mainstay in the Vegas bar scene. This is "old Vegas" in a nutshell. The freakin' Rat Pack hung out here. It's a bar, a locals bar, a neighborhood watering hole. No frills, no fuss. Just a place to drink. God love it. If you're coming to a place like this I'd like to think we'd get along. That you have an ounce of humanity inside you. That you understand we're all here once, and we might as well enjoy our time here. I came to these conclusions just from walking inside and ordering a beer. Very strong beer list, classic cocktails, fun shots, and even a good-sized food menu with bar staples to hold you over. For an early Friday afternoon, the place was buzzing inside. We opted to sit outside with the good weather and by the time I had to leave it was really starting to fill up. Atomic isn't for everyone. Go in with low expectations and soak in the high rewards that come your way. The dark, dingy dive atmosphere won't be a homerun for all, but I promise you this place is welcoming to all walks of life. I encourage you to read the history of this place, how it's stood the test of time, and where the name "atomic" came from. Frank Sinatra is an important figure in my family. If Atomic Liquors was good enough for him, it's sure as hell good enough for me. This place is as cool as the other side of the pillow. 'Till next time. I promise there will be a next time!

I checked this place out during the summertime. After being screened by the doorman I apparently stepped into this vintage bar and got "whisked away" to a bygone era! Seriously... With its captivatingly dark atmosphere, it feels like you've traveled back in time. The true and authentic bar vibe was spot on, and it's absolutely thrilling how it fully embraces its vintage roots. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the charm of the past! Its Fremont street (East) location is perfect. As for drinks- moderately priced and the service was average.

Loveeeee this place! It is a classic vegas spot. Always has great vibes. Great drinks and great food! Really not much to yes because everything there is great! Worth the spot. Perfect for a casual hang out or a cute apps and drink date!

A freaking Vegas staple and I can't believe I haven't been here in ages. We stopped in after a food and wine festival we attended downtown and truly had such a great experience here. The vibe is incredible inside and the staff was so nice and friendly. At one point there was a girl cleaning up after all the tables and whatnot and she was hustling so I just had to give her a tip! She was killin it!! I didn't order anything crazy, just a gin and tonic and then at one point I switched to seltzers, but the service was superb, I love that they've also extended and there was an outdoor patio area, too, which we went and hung out at to switch up the scenery a bit. Such a cool spot and if you're in Vegas for the first time and want to experience some Vegas history, you can't miss this place. Definitely will be back again.

Good bartender. Great mushroom tacos. Very cool and dark interior is welcome relief from excessive Vegas heat.

Stopped in here due to its historical significance. The bartenders indulged my curiosity and made me an Atomic Cocktail using an original recipe I found listed in the New York Times. Absolute class acts running the bar there, two of the nicest and most accommodating bartenders I've ever met. I wish I had gotten their names so I could shout them out even more but 11/10 experience at atomic liquors. Outside seating was amazing too and nice and quiet on a Saturday evening around 11pm.

This is The Original Las Vegas Dive Bar! Been in the same spot since the Atomic Testing days! So much History! Nothing fancy here! Dark bar, good people and stiff drinks! All trips to the Fremont Street area should include a stop at the Atomic Lounge.

Ask the Community - Atomic Liquors

Do you have a trivia night?

There is zero mention of trivia on their website (events section very outdated). Their social media has the last mention of trivia night of any sort being over a year ago. So... unlikely to be happening.

Is there parking or should I park at Fremont street parking and walk?

There are limited parking spaces at the back of the building, but yes, it is parking there. Also, parking on the street too.

Is this place all ages or just 21+?

    21+. It's a cocktail lounge (bar).

Weird question, but who supplies your nuts?

    Dee.

Is the actual bar accessible right now (COVID) or is it only outdoor restaurant seating?

Hi Maria! At this time, the inside of the Atomic Liquors bar, our restaurant (The Kitchen at Atomic), and all of our patios are open and available for seating. You can always email us at info@atomic.vegas to make reservations or for other inquiries.…

Do they have TVs to watch football?

    Sure

The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

At first we had a difficult time finding the place because we were expecting to see a big sign but there was none. Locate the Art's Square sign and walk toward the double doors straight ahead. The vibes are very intimate, emphasizes the arts, and every bartender and server is very friendly, even the hostess! First off, loved their menu booklet. I learned a lot about different drinks. I also loved that they had pictures that went with their drinks too. Seriously, lots of options! I also loved that they gave us a little card that had their most popular drinks based on taste. Our check came in a DVD plastic too, super nostalgic. I have not seen one of these in forever. Lol My friend and I ordered our first cocktail off this card and they were both incredible. I ordered the Crimes of Passion and she ordered the Dreamsicle. I like my cocktails sweet and these were both great. We ordered truffle fries off their small bites menu, which was enough to hold us over. For the second cocktail, my friend ordered the Nocturno Espresso. She liked it a lot, but it wasn't my preference since it was just a little bitter. I ordered what my bartender recommended me. I mentioned liking sweet drinks and he asked if I liked strawberries to which I replied "of course!" He made me a cocktail named the "Two Step" that I couldn't find on their menu but it was exactly the kind of drink I was looking for. We recommend making reservations. We tried to walk-in one night and they had a 30 minute wait, so we ended up booking a reservation on OpenTable for another day. They only take reservations for 6 people or less, this place is intimate after all. Looking forward to stopping in again!

Only complaint is they haven't updated their menu. It would be helpful if their menu was current because this menu was very limited. They didn't have dessert. We were told no a lot on things we asked for. To me, that's bad. The staff was great and the service was good but I probably won't be back.

Our waitress was super friendly and really encouraged us to try some things because we really weren't sure about the menu. She was super attentive and we really appreciated that. The reason I'm giving this a three star review (and I feel bad doing so) is because I genuinely hated the drinks. Like viscerally hated. The menu really was a struggle as someone who's a gin drinker. There wasn't a lot on the menu which I'm often used to, but the drinks were either cloyingly sweet or incredibly tart and bitter. There seems to lack of balance and there were a lot of really weird flavors that really didn't seem to go together. Now I can't speak on every single drink on the menu, but I did try a couple that are either premixed or on tap and I really struggled with them. I was excited about the ginger drink, and I was given a taste of their homemade ginger beer, and it felt like it was going to burn a hole through my stomach. Which is typically not my reaction to anything gender flavored. I just think the balance of flavors are not quite right and so certain things overpowered other flavors. I ended up really not wanting anything on the menu because everything was so rum based and I really don't like rum, so they offered to make me a cocktail with some flavors that I liked. They told me they had passionfruit, which I was really excited about. It usually is a really nice combination of sweet but not too sweet and good fruity flavor. I had a passionfruit gin drink made, and it was absolutely gorgeous coming out. Unfortunately, what I didn't know was that the passionfruit that they have is on the very sour and tart side (contained by a staff member later), which has never been my experience with passionfruit in the past. One of the things that I told the waitress was that I really don't like sour. I like citrus but not something that is so overly sour that it tastes like I'm eating a warhead. And the drink that was made for me had both lemon and this really tart passionfruit to the point all I could taste was this awful sour flavor. I felt bad and drank it and was not about to ask it off the bill because they were so kind about everything. The drink ended up only being nine dollars and I genuinely wonder if they undercharged me, but I felt a lot better that that's all I paid for it. Aesthetically it was beautiful, but it tasted horrible. I tried my friends drink, which was a play on a margarita with Mezcal, and that was also incredibly bitter and sour. I'm not someone who needs disgustingly sweet drinks, hence me not liking rum, but I do need a balance of sweetness with the other flavors. My friend thought her drink was OK, but she said she wouldn't order it again. I would definitely give this location another shot if I could figure out a drink that would work, but it seems their drinks either are very sour or very sweet and I'm hoping that at some point they will be able to find a good balance between the two.

If I am in the arts district, I am at Dark Sister (if they're open... sometimes I'm there in the day and they are not open yet and I am sad. lol) It's moody, it's witchy, it's got all the Goth eclectic goodness! I love how it is decorated!!! It's giving dark academia, mixed with a séances, sprinkle in a little bit of dried flowers and top it with a tarot card. They have such a variety of seating, they have large loungey couches in the front, smaller couches with chairs and tables as you go inside, long and larger tables for larger groups in the back, a massive bar area with seating, as well as a gorgeous patio with bar seating as well as tables and loungey bench areas. It is comfy, cozy, and an amazing place to just chill and hang out. The music is always perfect. The lighting is the perfect dark dim. I have never felt more at home somewhere in my life. It is my happy place. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. If I go there it makes me happy! I absolutely love that they have a mocktail menu and that they rotate the drinks every season. I don't drink and also a lot of my friends don't either and their mocktail menu is a winner every single time, I've never had a drink there that I did not enjoy. Honestly, I would love if they had more mocktail options than they already do. I'm really glad that they added snacks!! Their snack tray is amazing I get it almost every time I'm there. The only thing I would like is for there to be more variety of snacks! I do love the chocolate covered espresso beans but somehow, I am the one that ends up finishing them and then I don't sleep... which is definitely a me problem but like... they're addictive man... we need something else chocolate, like, of course keep the chocolate covered espresso beans, but like maybe chocolate covered raisins or chocolate covered berries? If you guys added a charcuterie board... take our money!!! My friends, and I would never leave, Take all our money!! Like a witchy charcuterie board!! I absolutely love that they have an outdoor patio now!!! It is stunning! Being witchy in the fall is going to be amazing there!!! I've been going there since they opened and from the moment I walked in I was in love. I have watched as this bar has continued to grow, and it only gets better with age. I adore the staff, they are so sweet! They have always been nothing but kind and caring. If something is going down outside, they are locking us in and keeping us safe. I was there one time when there was a shooting going on outside and they immediately locked the doors until it was safe for us to leave. I appreciate how much they take safety seriously! I really love that every single time I go there it seems that they have added something new to make it an even more fun experience! They have a lot of really awesome places to take photos! Definitely cute place to have a girly witchy photo shoot! They do a lot of of events and classes, I haven't been able to go down for one of their events/classes yet, but I'm really dying to go take one of the crafty witchy classes! I love that they're not only a bar, but they're also trying to build community! Dark Sister is absolutely perfect. PERFECT. It is all I have ever wanted and more in a space. I will continue being a happy loyal customer for as long as we both shall live. Thank you, Dark Sister for existing... and making my life complete.

The outside patio was covered and had a 2nd bar out there which was very nice. Once we sat down, someone came over to let us know to order at the bar. Once we ordered, we got our drinks very quickly. I can't remember what I got, but 1 of my friends got the spicy drink that comes in a skull glass with 2 peppers to look like horns, loved the presentation! We had great service from the hostess to the bartender! There was a place across the way playing live music, so that was nice in the space. Not sure if we could hear music out there without it. I thought the prices were pretty average for a bar downtown. We also gave the photo booth a try inside and came away with 2 great strips. Great place to stop in for a drink!

Interesting cocktails, excellent service, and just a place to wow. I like a quiet spot so when the band came on we left not too long afterwards but while it was quiet, this was definitely a vibe. Loved all their drinks we tried and this is definitely a cool spot for a date or just a pre-dinner drink.

After hearing so many great things about the Doberman, we finally made our way a few nights ago to…read morefinally experience this beautiful bar/lounge ourselves and to celebrate my new job! The special Wes Anderson inspired menu is what really prompted us to celebrate at Doberman and it certainly did not disappoint. My husband and I tried multiple cocktails from this specialty menu; The Life Aquatic, The Darjeeling Limited, The Royal Tenenbaums, Asteroid City, and Isle of Dogs. While all of these were truly fantastic as well as aesthetically pleasing, The Darjeeling Limited was hands down the drink we enjoyed the most and what will likely bring us back in before this special menu is gone. The Life Aquatic was incredible looking, but was our least favorite as it was quite sweet. The space is absolutely gorgeous with so many unique art pieces and tchotchkes to look at. Our waitress, Taylor, was also very friendly and ensured we had a good experience. I am docking a star though as I had a few minor complaints... 1) My husband put under the reservation that we were celebrating my new job; something both hostesses immediately congratulated me on upon arrival as well as our waitress. Being that we were there to celebrate, it was odd that we were seated at the table in the back, right next to the restrooms. When we arrived at 7:30pm, Doberman was only at about 20% capacity (it filled up later); being seated next to the restrooms was noisy from the doors slamming and busy with everyone walking right past us. Kind of a bummer and something we didn't realize until we were 1/2 way through our 1st cocktails. 2) There is a sign next to the front door asking you to not take photographs or video during your time at Doberman; something the hostess reiterated as well. I will admit, I was guilty of sneaking a few photos, but the large party of 7 that was sat across from us later in the evening were blatantly taking dozens of selfies with the flash on and standing up many times to take video / photos of the space, some also with the flash on. This was incredibly disruptive and we were honestly surprised that no staff told them to please put their phones away. 3) The volume of the music kept changing. While we enjoyed the selection of music, sometimes it was so loud my husband and I could not carry on a conversation, while other times it was pleasant background music. The volume inconsistency was a bit annoying. Despite my 3 minor issues, I truly loved Doberman Drawing Room. The atmosphere and drinks are well worth the hype. Added bonus was feeling like we were on vacation in NYC, Chicago, or London; a fun little escape from the neon glimmer of our desert city.
