    Buffalo wings and fries

I have been here about 4 times and every single time, it was great experience. The food, drinks, service, and ambiance is always exceptional.

Jalapeño popper chicken sandwich- sweet potato fries.

This was my fourth time here. Truly have enjoyed every experience!! Your salads are amazing! Fish tacos great! The ambiance reminds me of a mini "summerhouse" in Chicago or Disney Springs. Always great service!! Yesterday I tried the jalapeño popper chicken sandwich. (Huge portion btw) While the chicken was REALLY good and not dry, when I think jalapeño popper? I think cooked. Slicing raw jalapeños on top didn't cut it for me. Just not the same flavor? We do love it and will definitely be back!

We went to Dock on Front with high expectations after hearing all the buzz. In fact, we actually tried going about a month ago but left after learning there was a two-hour wait -- which honestly only added to its mystique. When we finally made it in, I was surprised by how small and intimate the place was -- cozy atmosphere, limited seating, and a lively bar setup. The highlight for sure was the Margarita Flight Boarding Pass. Super creative idea! You pick four flavors from their list, fill out a little "boarding pass," and hand it to your server. Between two flights, we tried coconut, huckleberry, mango, strawberry banana, blackberry, key lime pie, peach, and raspberry. Every flavor actually tasted true to its name -- bold, fruity, and fun. Definitely the most memorable part of the night. For appetizers, the Burrata Board was fresh and well-balanced -- creamy burrata, prosciutto, and honeycomb made for a great light start. The French Onion Soup was a twist on the classic -- a bit lighter in flavor but still comforting and satisfying. For mains, we went with the Buffalo Chicken Salad and the Charleston's Classic Smash Burger. The salad was fine but nothing that stood out -- grilled chicken topped with buffalo sauce rather than fully tossed in it. The burger had great flavor and the Merkts cheese was a star, but it leaned more toward a hearty pub-style burger than a true "smash." Overall, Dock on Front was good -- flavorful food, unique drinks, and a fun concept -- but it didn't quite live up to the hype. I'd tell anyone it's worth visiting once, but I'm not in a rush to go back. After all the buzz, I expected to be blown away--but it fell just short of that mark.

6 weeks. 6 weeks is how long this establishment has been open. 6 weeks! And I happen to just bump into this restaurant on Instagram. So glad that I did! It's adorable. Truly adorable! Kim was our server and she was so kind. We had their flight of margaritas. They come in assorted flavors(frozen) From key lime pie, to coconut (my favorite), peach, watermelon, just to name a few. We started the meal with spicy cauliflower. YUMMERS! Crispy, spicy, deliciously packed with flavor! I chose for my entree a smash burger. The Charleston. Plenty of gooey cheese and grilled onions! I couldnt finish even half of it. I opted for a side salad instead of fries. My girlfriend had one of their variety of chicken sandwiches and she reports it was tasty and filling. She could only finish half of hers as well. The feel of this place is definitely seaside, nautical ish! We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day. The drinks, the bites and the service were absolutely wonderful. If you have not stopped in, make plans to do so. Mokena is building up! Its literally right across the street from the Metra station! Salads, sandwiches, soups and starters for everyone to enjoy! Thank you Kim for answering all my questions and suggesting the coconut margarita! We will be back! They are open Tuesday-Sunday beginning at 11am:)

We stopped by on Sunday around 5 pm on Labor Day weekend. We called ahead but they don't do reservations. They told me though that they only had a 5 minute wait which turned out to be true. We were seated and our waitress greeted us. The place is beautiful, the food was great, and the prices were not too bad. It does get very loud in there.we recommend trying it.

BIG HUGE TURNOFF...ITS SOOOOOO LOUD IN HERE!!! We started off with a cup of the cream of chicken and rice soup: Absolutely FABULOUS!! I had the blackened grouper with asparagus and rice. It was wonderful! My husband had the honey glazed salmon and mashed potatoes and broccoli. He enjoyed his meal, too. If they can do something about the noise, it would be beneficial... Annnnnndd.. Eliminate the smoking right outside on the porch...because it comes right back into.thr restaurant from the garage doors being open...

My grandson was very pleased chicken and hamburgers were great I had an angry pizza and loved it !!

Delicious food and a very merry Christmas atmosphere. Yummy Christmas colada cocktail or if you prefer there is a Scrooge based drink.

I think they are still working out the kinks in the business. Food was ok. Service could have been better.

Most, I could buy at the store for under $10, but they were charging that for 2-4 oz. The guy that cashed us out was not friendly. Glad I had a chance to go here, but I would not come back. Great Wine Bar with Surprising Space and Tasty Bites!…read more This wine bar is such a hidden gem! From the outside, it looks small, but once you're in, it opens up into a much larger space with a relaxed, upscale vibe. I loved the small outdoor area out front for a casual sip, and there's a spacious tented area in the back that's perfect for events or extra seating. The concept of trying different wines is a fun and unique experience. Our favorite menu item was hands-down the Buffalo cauliflower bites--crispy, flavorful, and addictive. I also really enjoyed the Alaskan Pollock wings, which were a pleasant surprise. Parking is very limited, so be careful. Do not park in the lots of neighboring restaurants--you will get towed. Best option: park along the train tracks. The only downside for me was the TouchTunes jukebox. I was excited to play some music, but many of the songs I enjoy (which are not inappropriate by any means) weren't available. That was a little disappointing and took away from the vibe just a bit. Also, our waitress wasn't rude or mean, but she wasn't particularly warm or welcoming either--it left the service feeling just okay. Still, it's a great spot overall--worth visiting for the food, wine, and atmosphere!

Her presentation for wine, menu and desserts were excellent! We ordered filets in wine sauce, whipped potato and my favorite, asparagus. Dinner was delicious. Jean brought me a rose, birthday sign, champagne for a toast and a dessert, no charge. She personalized my birthday dinner so graciously! I'm so very grateful! Many choices on the menu! We asked for the Manager. She too was lovely to speak with. I highly recommend Seasons 52!

The atmosphere is dimly lit (which I love), clean, lots of wood and leather everywhere. It's spacious but also cozy. On to the food.. my favorites have been the butterfish and the trout. This last time I got a pesto gnocchi with shrimp. The shrimp was really good right off the grill as were the gnocchi but it was kind of swimming in an oily sauce. I expected it to either be creamy or lightly coated pasta, instead of a pool of pesto and oil. The sauce didn't really stay on to the gnocchi because it was so thin. I used my extra pita bread to sop it up. The artichoke with hummus appetizer is also tasty. My friend got the lamb shank (chops?) and she also enjoyed her meal. The espresso martini was good but it had like a chunky shaved chocolate or something on the rim which was unnecessary and made it kind of hard to drink. We haven't tried any desserts yet but they look amazing. It was about $150 for 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees, and 1 appetizer. I couldn't afford this regularly but it's a nice treat every now and then.

I am a fan favorite of the lobster roll because it is fresh and you get big chunks of lobster. We wanted something other than just burgers again, so I proposed seafood. There didn't seem to be a lot of options in this area, but Dancing Marlin seemed to fit the bill and was pretty close. Before going, we looked at the menu, and there really wasn't anything my little one was going to want on the kids menu - there was no seafood for the kids, not even a basic fish and chips. He saw the lobster rolls appetizer though, and that sold him, so we got in the car and headed down. When we went to order, the waiter told us the only thing they were out of was the lobster rolls, but when we asked about the lobster gnocchi that my other son was about to order, they said they could do that, so I asked to speak with the manager. She explained that they only liked to use big whole pieces of lobster for the lobster rolls, and that is what they were out of, but had the smaller pieces they normally used in the gnocchi dish. I asked if she could do the lobster rolls with the smaller pieces, and she confirmed with the chef so we were back in business. The food was all excellent. I had the seared ahi and it was delicious, but was just a small portion for my liking. The scallops my wife had were delicious, but for $38 it was only 4 scallops. Maybe kids who live around here don't want fish when their parents do, but you should at least have a kids portion of fish and chips, or some fried shrimp on the menu for them. I'm not going to order a $27 fish and chips portion for a little kid, but he also didn't come to just eat chicken nuggets or buttered noodles.
