Sorry I didn't get pictures of the entrees but we were cold and starved. The night was damp and cold. Unfortunately we wanted to enjoy the view, but our table was quite cold. The longer we were there the colder we got. The place is really designed to be on the water and more pleasant in better weather. We really wanted to stop in and try it on our way back from Charlotte. The food is amazing. I had the Pecan crusted Tilapia. My wife had the Tomato Basil Soup and Herb Chicken. She's really adventurous with her choices. It's a running gag within the family. This place has a view we all would want. Panoramic view of Lake Guntersville. You really have to try it. Looks like an old covered dock combined with a bar. Dive bar interior without the darkness, but frankly amazing food with great variety and outstanding service. Be sure to check it out.

Brandy is our favorite server. She always does amazing job! The lake is so beautiful and peaceful. I love to get the fried fish here. It is by far the best catfish I've had. My boyfriend always gets the sirloin, he always enjoys it. We go here all the time, highly recommended!

Had a great Wednesday night here! The fish n chips was super good, and the staff were really nice. Food was quick. The sunset here was stunning. The mosquitos were a bit of an issue so we moved inside next to the big windows. It was our first time and we had a great experience!

Oh my Patrick, you are amazing and so is your amazing locally owned and operated Market. Not only…read moredo you have a wonderful selection of meat, the steak we picked up you cut for us to our desired thickness. So you are looking for a huge steak, or a wicked good deal on chicken breast, or actually those square lunchroom pizzas from your child hood memory, Guess where you go, Patrick's. Yes, crispitos, cheese sticks, Mexican pizza, square pepperoni pizza, you name it, and they have it (unless they are sold out). But don't kid yourself, you really have to come here for the steaks, some of the most tender cut of beef I have ever eaten. All steaks are cut to a 1 inch diameter that is in the meat case, but you can request 2 inch cut or 3 inch cut, whichever your heart desires. And 2 inches of a NY Strip or ribeye with the correct seasoning and grilling method. Amazing! We got to meet Patrick, he was actually the one who asked us if he could help us find anything and shared a little bit about the market. We asked if we could get some steaks cut and he was more than enthusiastic to help us. Our special request and within seconds Patrick's disappears to the back to cut our requested order. Exceptional service, amazing values. They also have a seafood case (we didn't try but almost got some scallops because they look amazing). We will definitely be back,we will drive out of our way to purchase here and get amazing steaks. You are definitely missing out if you don't go here at least once.

Chips and salsa were brought to the table without having to ask, which is always a welcome touch. Service was attentive considering there was only one server handling the floor. Props to them for keeping things running smoothly. The food was middle-of-the-road -- not the best Mexican I've had, but certainly not the worst either. If you're looking for a solid, no-surprises meal, it'll do the job. The atmosphere is actually one of the highlights. It's a nice bar setting, well-lit, and wasn't overly loud during our early visit -- easy to hold a conversation, which isn't always a given at a bar. Now, the restrooms could use some attention. They're a bit dated and in need of updating. I did get a chuckle out of the handwashing requirement sign posted prominently on the wall -- right next to the one soap dispenser that happened to be completely empty. It makes you wonder how closely that policy is actually enforced. Overall, La Cabaña by JUAN is a fine spot for drinks and a casual bite. Just maybe bring your own hand sanitizer.

We were seated immediately by friendly staff. We ordered the queso and guacamole; the queso was watery with no spices but good. The guacamole looked like it had been whipped but had some spice to it. We ordered the ribeye steak and were told it was around 12 ounces. So we asked for an extra plate and split it. The green peppers and onions on the steak made it a flavorful entry. For dessert we had the sopaipillias. There were four with ice cream in the center. A total of around $40 plus tip for a great meal!

Now they give you a plate with some sliced avocados on it with pico de gallo and call it a day. Taste? Not all that. Service? The server was kind of "attitutdy", so that didn't want to make me go back either. May be the best Mexican in town, but far from being actually good.

Not my favorite taco place, but it did the job. All the meats were really good, and it was right…read morenext to the Unclaimed Baggage center so very convenient for us. The place itself is small, quaint, and authentically Mexican, and the server was super sweet though not Mexican at all. Prices are VERY reasonable, though they've gone up slightly I think in the past few years (to be expected). Here's what we tried: -Mex Sausage Taco: 8/10 - Small, but great flavor. The tortilla on this taco was stunning: it was a corn tortilla, yet it was so thick and soft. That's not something you see everyday. The sausage (chorizo) was well seasoned and nicely crumbly, and it was an overall pretty good street taco. -Aztec Steak Burrito: 9/10 - The flavor of the meat inside the burrito was so good, as the steak was tender and well seasoned. (The burrito comes with a huge portion of mexican rice and refried beans, and while the rice is your average if not a bit less flavorful mexican rice, the refried beans are very watery and pretty lacking in richness.) The burrito is definitely the important part of this plate, and it hit the mark for me. -Chicken Tamale: 7/10 - Chicken was good, though I wish they had put cheese in with the chicken to add some extra texture and spice things up. It was a well made tamale, just not the best I've had. -Dobladas: 5/10 - We weren't sure what to expect here. Normally dobladas are a guatemalan dish where tortillas are simply folded and fried in a pan with cheese. This was almost like a gordita-esque dish, consisting of an even thicker than normal tortilla with chicken, lettuce, and sour cream. The chicken isn't packing a big punch, and while the tortilla is good, the lettuce and the sour cream don't add enough flavor to really make the dish sing. It's good though, and something more on the fresh side if that's what you're looking for. -Chicken Quesadilla: 2/10 - Wow, so so disappointing. The cheese was barely melted, the tortilla was dry, and the chicken was lackluster in flavor. Not worth it at all. Wouldn't come again, but not a bad experience.
