I want to preface I didn't get any services performed by a groomer. I used the sled wash station which was very easy to reserve. They gave all the soaps I could need with a spray scent at the end of my choosing. The conditioner was great too. My dog did not have any flaking a few days later or anything. The dryer was professional and they have a happy hood for him! I love how fast drying him was because they let you use the professional grade dryer. From the moment we walked in they were all super nice and helpful. I've been to wash stations in denver and this one is hands down the best self wash place. I made an appointment over the phone for my newly rescued dog to get a bath. My vet said my dog was a terrier cattle dog mix, I wasn't sure what he was. The person on the phone at the Dog Pawlour said the grooming would be $63.00, he weighs 48 pounds and is considered a medium dog according to them. When I picked him up the bill was $109.00, I asked why when we were quoted $63.00. They. said my dog is a pointer not what I told them and is considered a large dog. I looked at pictures of pointers online and my dog is NOT a pointer. They would not honor the price they quoted. I feel like they should have called and gotten the okay or at least honored the original quote then let me know next time it would be the other price. I have been going to the Dog Pawlour on College for almost a year now and have been partaking in full day daycare twice a week, nail trimming, and self wash baths. This is a spectacular establishment. I get 3+ photos of my dog every time he goes to daycare. They take extra care to make sure all the dogs get along well during the day so no one is uncomfortable. The staff is all amazing and knowledgable. They have helped me figure out multiple ways to improve my dogs life! They offer 10 packs of full day care and it comes with a free self wash and nail trim. They work with my dog because he is nervous about getting his nails trimmed and I use the self wash all the time! If I could give a zero I would. The first time I brought my puppy into the dog pawlour I went to the location on college - he was 12 weeks old so they gave him a "puppy cut" which consisted of his face and around his sensitive areas. They told me to bring him back in 6-8 weeks for a full cut. My puppy is a yorkie so he has a full coat and needs to be bathed weekly. By doing this his coat started to mat and when I brought him into the harmony location they told me the risks of matting and had me sign a waiver stating that he could get cut in the process. About a half hour after I dropped him off they called me and told me he got cut and they couldn't finish his groom. After picking him up I noticed that this was way more than just a cut on his skin, they had taken off a chunk of his skin and had a flap of skin hanging off. I called and asked to speak with a manager to express my concerns and I had the owner call me back. She was less than caring when it came to my concerns, cut me off multiple times while speaking and continued to blame the cut on my dog being "wiggly" while getting groomed. Again this was his second time getting groomed and as a professional business I would expect them to treat my dog with care and adjust to him to make sure he was comfortable and not proceed until they were able to calm him. The owner was very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company to care for your dogs. In addition to this company blaming the cut on Remy being wiggly I would expect that as professionals, if a puppy comes in and is wiggly that they would take extra care and stop the groom if they feel they are unable to safely shave him without injury. My dog ended up needing stitches because of their lack of care. When I called for a compensation the only thing the owner, Brittany, offered was a free groom. In all honesty when my dog needs stitches because of how he was groomed prior I have zero confidence or comfort in taking my dog back again. I called back to get a copy of the waiver I signed for my records and one of the employees unknowingly answered the phone, told the owner I was calling back and the owner proceeded to tell her not to answer my phone call. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service in my life. read more

We took our two dogs in for a "do it yourself" bath. We have been to other places before but wanted something closer to home We were very happy to see how nicely designed the Dog Pawlour was. The do it yourself was bay was in its own room so we could wash our dogs without distraction and worry from other dogs. The staff was very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The wash equipment was exceptionally clean and very high quality, as was the soap and conditioner that was supplied. All of this made washing 2 dogs (one at a time) very easy and efficient. Went in to get some paw conditioner for my pup's feet and learned about what this organization does for dogs. Three words: self-service grooming! They have traditional grooming, too, but no appointment needed, all supplies provided? For a low price? I had just come from a groomer and spent $60. The Dog Pawlour charges $16. Needless to say I'll be giving baths from now on. Note: walk-ins are welcome and you can bring your own soap if you want. They also had the paw conditioner with CBD oil and without. They had multiple varieties of treats and dog food as well as some toys and chewable. The prices were competitive with online as well as PetSmart. I will go here for all of my grooming needs as well as food and treats. Bonus: the staff members doted on my dog. It's nice to know they are dog people and not just working there. read more

I have been bringing my pup, Inca, to daycare for a few months now and I absolutely love it! Everyone is so nice and I feel so comfortable leaving my girl to play all day. I love the activity days and the fact that they take pictures on a regular basis! I love seeing Inca get so excited to be there when I drop her off, and I LOVE picking her up so worn out and happy. I took my 4 month old puppy to this place for her first grooming. They kept her for 3 hours without a potty break. Did I mention 4 months old? Then when I went to pay the person at the front desk told me that she had gotten "mean" when they tried to shave her feet. I was not happy, but gave them another chance when she was 6 months old. When I got her home, I found several mats on her coat. She is a miniature poodle and I expected better care for her coat. Also, she had the worst nail trimming job I have ever seen. I just took her to my vet to have her nails redone. She did OK except the tech said that she was sensitive about her front right paw and probably had an "incident" at the groomers. I called to make a reservation for the self service dog wash. We were leaving on a trip and wanted to wash our Labrador before leaving. They told my wife it was first come, first serve. They close at 6 and I arrived at 5:12 after driving an hour to town. They said the self service closed at 5:15. I said it isn't even 5:15 yet and I drove an hour to get there. When we called, had they said I needed to be there by a certain time I would have. Drove home and rearranged our trip and drove to the Poudre Pet and Feed. I was a customer of Tailwaggers for many years and felt they gave exceptional service. Since it was sold and Dog Pawlour has taken over the service gas gone downhill. The young ladies working there are busy with their own conversations and not veey interested in helping customers. The store is constantly remodeling so you cant find things and heaven forbid uf one of thw employees would need to help you. Today i bought dog food and they could not print out a receipt because they had a "new system". I was told they would email a receipt to me but had to get the owners permission to do that. They offered to write me a receipt and i said the was fine. The written receipt was on a 3x3 sticky note. How unprofessional is that? I love supporting local businesses but they need to earn my business as well. I think i will be ordering from Chewy in the future. read more

Very unhappy with groomers. First few times i took Bob in to be groomed i was very happy. Last time they shaved him as they said he was matted. He looked awful i complained. He was not matted as they stated. I spend a hour a day brushing him. They were to lazy to cut and brush a large dog. Today we broke down and returned after a month long wait to get him groomed again and they said he was matted on his neck and chest and would have to shave him again. We left and will find a groomer who is not afraid to do a little work . I had brushed Bobs neck before we took him up there. He was NOT matted as they stated. Bob is a large dog and requires more time to groom and requires a groomer who is patient and not afraid to do a litte work. Seams they want a dog they can get in and out fast so they can do more dogs. I need a groomer who puts my dog ahead of there need to work easy. read more

They lost our dog from their broken kenneled facility. They lied to us, chased our dog out of their building and neglected to call us for over an hour to let us know one of our dogs was running scared around Greeley with an impending snowstorm with temps around 3 that night. PACFA's investigation provided us with their findings, which are available to the public, failure to notify an escaped dog within 72 hours and violations for broken kennels. The surveillance video is heartbreaking to watch. We took our Great Danes here and we booked express grooms with doggy daycare since we were told they were much too big to fit the grooming kennels and it would be much easier to groom them and then let them into doggy daycare to play and if we wanted to come early we could bring them anytime before the groom appointment, no kennels necessary, or so we were told. We had to pay more but understood since they are very large, but they lied. Not only did our dogs not spend anytime in daycare they stuffed our Great Danes into the grooming kennels they said were too small and then left them unattended. One of the kennels in question was reported to us by multiple current staff, after the incident, that they were aware of the defect as well as the owner Brittany. This was only our second visit to this store and the lies and deceit told to us are inexcusable. Please beware they have no protocols in place for pet safety and don't report most of the incidents that have happened read more

I go in every so often to have my pooch's nails ground and although he is not the best patient, the employees always smile when he comes in and treat us both kindly and with respect. I can hear him howling like a baby in the grooming room but both the dog and the employees emerge happy. I commend them all for their patience and ability to handle all types of dogs. read more

We brought our very large (165 lb ) male Rottweiler in to have his nails trimmed. He doesn't like to have anybody mess with his nails. Ashley took him in and trimmed his nails, he fussed a little but not like he normally does. Now when we take him in he gets all excited and doesn't fuss at all. She just has a way about her that calms him down and he trusts her. That was all it took, now we only come here for anything we need. The place is beautiful. I took my Yorkie in to get groomed, they did a great job on him but the customer service sucked! When I got him home I didn't realize he didn't have his tags on and that same day he ran away. We were so devastated, so if someone found him they wouldn't of been able to get ahold of us. But after ten and a half hours later thank God he showed up. That's when we noticed he didn't have his tags on. I called The Dog Pawlour and asked if his tags were there and at first they said no and then she said she would go to the back were they groomed him and they found them there so when we picked them up the part that holds the tags were mangled. How it was mangled and broken was beyond me it made me wonder if they ripped them off of him. I let them know what had happened to my dog and explained if someone found him they wouldn't be able to contact me and his tags were mangled and broke and all she could say was "oh yeah sorry", they didn't even offer to replace his tags so the expression I got was not compassion or concern. For me it's not how beautiful the place looks it's customer service. I will not be taking my dog back there again. read more
