I don't normal write reviews but felt like I had to for this business. I do not recommend this business. Stay far away! My first experience here was when I brought my dog in for grooming. I had the first appointment of the day, yet it took over 3 hours before he was ready. The next time I brought him in, they accidentally cut him during his grooming appointment. I was not informed about what happened when I picked him up. My dog ended up needing pain medication and wearing a cone for more than two weeks. Given what happened, I would have expected that they would have acknowledged it and apologized.They only did after I pointed it out... I brought him back again, and I was told it would take a little longer than usual because they were training someone. Considering the previous experience, I assumed they would make an effort to get him in and out as quickly as possible. Instead, 4.5 hours later, I finally got to pick him up. Then, during another visit, I was waiting in the lobby for about 10 minutes when another customer's dog jumped over the fence and got out. I immediately helped get the dog back inside. Rather than addressing the situation or taking responsibility for the fact that the dog was able to jump the fence, they blamed me for not making sure the front door was closed tightly.  I did close the door behind me, obviously they were trying to find someone to blame. Shortly afterward, they canceled my next appointment and told me that we should "part ways." Based on the timing, it was pretty clear why. My overall experience has been extremely disappointing. I feel that when something goes wrong, instead of taking responsibility, they look for someone else to blame--and if you speak up about your concerns, you risk being dropped as a customer. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking for a groomer they can trust with their dog. Do your research and choose somewhere else. read more

Headed to the Dog Wash to get Tater a manicure! I tried to cut her nails myself and ended up making her bleed... so instead of traumatizing her/myself again, I decided to let the professionals do it. The Dog Wash is in walking distance for us so it's getting a walk in and doing her nails at the same time, love that! When we walked in there were a few other dogs there waiting to get washed.The most notable dog is the owner's dog, which is a giant Great Dane that watches over the shop. He was very sweet, but it's a bit intimidating having a dog that comes up to your chin. It was around 2 o'clock on a Wednesday, so we did not have to wait long at all. They also only do walk-ins for nails. I told the lady that I accidentally clipped her, so she used the tool that shaves the nail instead. Tater was a bit scared at first, but by the end of it she was licking her and trying to lick the nail shaver tool. The whole process took about 10 minutes and we were out of there! It was only $15 and super convenient, so I will definitely be back! We might take her back for the self-serve baths as well, since her hair is clogging up our drains for sure. Made the BIGGEST mistake trusting these people with my dog. (Pomeranian) Dropped him off to get groomed and washed and was returned a bald SHAVED dog. Apparently they hire just anybody, specifically uneducated groomers, who just shaved him down to the skin. If they had any knowledge of what they were doing they would know Pomeranians cannot be shaved. And especially down to the the skin!!!!!!!!!!!!! I brought my Mini Schnauzer here for grooming. We've brought her once or twice before and they did a good job. This time the experience was bad. The groomer was Danie. I was very specific about not having my girls lashes cut at all. They were gone and her coat was cut too short. Aside from not following my instructions they had my dog for hours. I tried to call and pick her up before they closed and Danie told me she wasn't ready yet but was working on her. I sat down to eat at a nearby restaurant with my kid. She called me when we had just started eating and demanded I pick her up immediately because technically they were closed half an hour ago and she couldn't stay waiting on me. You guys had my dog like four hours, jacked up her beautiful lashes and then demanded I pick her up on your time when you left my pup on the back burner all day. Even though the previous groomer had done a good job I wouldn't care to come Back here for any of our dogs. I let Danie be our groomer because they'd just sent an email about her joining the dog wash and that she was awesome blah blah blah no thanks! read more

Wonderful owner!!! Just the kindest & most knowledgeable !!! We ran into a flea infestation while visiting Charleston. They not only saved our poor little LuLu but, saved our trip & took care of her wonderfully while we toured & went to lunch. I just picked my dog up after having the absolute worst experience I have ever had with grooming. When I went to drop him off I already had a bad feeling as their temporary location was dirty with 6-7 small dogs running and barking around the area. I was not informed of this prior to booking and was very uncomfortable about the situation and asked for my dog to be placed in the kennel away from the dogs. I asked for my labradoodle to be trimmed on his legs, sanitary areas, ears, and face. When I arrived 3 hours later. I saw multiple dogs in cages with box fans and lots of other dogs fur being blown on their faces to "dry" them. One dog was even fighting to get out of the cage. My dog's cut was done very poorly as his legs were not even trimmed in the back at all and his ear still had knots and gunk on the inside as if they didn't finish cutting or cleaning him even though they told me when to come. Finally I was charged 114 dollars for this service which makes no sense for their pricing online and I'm not sure how my 60 pound dog with a partial trim dog could be priced like that. Leaving me to believe they added their tip on without my knowledge. My dog was freaking out the entire drive home and hyperventilating and I am honestly so disgusted with the entire situation. I walked out covered in other dogs fur after only being inside for a few minutes due to the lack of cleaning inside. I am not one to write reviews but I think it is important to protect your dogs from coming here. read more

I called several times this week nobody answered. I decided to walk in to see if they have availability or an appointment available to make for my small dog for a trim and grooming. There next available was for two weeks from now and when I asked again if she was sure if she had any availability this week she rudely clapped close to my face to make a point that they didn't have availability like if I was a child. Even the workers looked our way when that happened because it was completely uncalled for. I felt very unwelcome and unwanted there by this employee. I would not bring my dog there. They are super friendly and loving to the dogs who come in for a groom. Our dog used to be scared when going to the groomers but she is always calm and happy to come in to the salon and to see the ladies working here. And they do the best job with our pup! I could not be more excited about this amazing little spot popping up right around the corner from my house. I have two doodles, which we all know are the cutest things, but they require a lot of maintenance. Carrie and her crew have kept my boys looking super dapper! They love coming here. It's about time that downtown was graced with a place such as this! And the decor of the inside is just as awesome as the people. I don't really know where to begin with this. The ladies do an excellent job grooming but if customer service is what you're looking for then this is NOT the place for you. I dropped my dog off for a groom at 9:30AM and went shopping in the area while waiting for my dog. I have moved 30 minutes away but when I was done shopping and called 3 times (with NO answer) I decided I needed to stop in because at this point it was Noon, I didn't want to drive home to turn right around. When i entered the store, the owner was nothing short of rude.. I proceeded to tell her how rude she was being telling me i was a "distraction" and trying to make me feel bad. After reflecting on the situation it seemed as if i had caught her in the act of doing something and she didn't want me just walking into her shop. I honestly would've considered her a friend until this day. She saw that I was obviously in tears from how upset I was and attempted to apologize but honestly it was all so inappropriate. Telling me that "she would call me" in a belittling tone. her other groomer when I said she was being rude said "no she wasn't". I am still mortified with how this all went over. Her voicemail even tells you not to check on your dog... She didn't offer any discount for upsetting me so much and my boyfriend went to pick our dog up. We also cancelled appointments for all of our other dogs. I really debated on whether or not to even post this but it needs to be said so others don't go through this. read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called the day before with a special situation of needing my dog's paws (top & bottom) trimmed but he's very skiddish so I knew nail trimming & bathing would be too difficult in one day. The girl who I spoke with said a gal named Danny could trim him up on Saturday (today). I called ahead today (sat 8/24/19) just to make sure they could work in my dog Zeke before heading to the shop. A girl said,"Yes! Bring him in at 1:00 and we can take care of it no problem!" We arrived at 1 sharp and when we entered, the girl "Dani/Danny" seemed flustered. She proceeded to tell us that,"We don't usually take care of just paw trimmings only BUT I'll do it just this once." As you can imagine this was quite frustrating as I had been on the phone with someone explaining the situation the day before and that morning. What I'm trying to say is the girls at the shop knew the situation so why would they tell me they usually don't do this but "this one time is okay"? I am mediately felt like the girl did not want to service us. Our dog is skiddish and 75 lbs as I explained above...so it takes a bit of coaxing to get him onto a table. Dani snapped at my husband saying,"I really don't have time I'm going to need him up on the table quickly. I'm really busy-" VERY RUDE!!!!!!!! She then tried to "pick up" our 75 lb dog and place him on the table so my husband said,"Ill do it." And placed him on the table. She kept saying how behind she was several times during the trim which made us feel very awkward and as we were an annoyance ot nuisance. It was VERY uncomfortable and awkward. Luckily she was kind to our dog....unfortunately not kind to us. At one point one of the other girls turned on VERY loud music and then proceeded to get my information. I could barely here her and was turned off by Dani's rude attitude and loud atomosphere. Also, why is there incense burning in a grooming area where dogs can reach burning things? This was one of the most unwelcoming and uncomfortable dog grooming situations I've EVER experienced. It literally ruined our afternoon. I only wanted to bring my dog here in the first place because I was Jamie Lee Curtis's personal assistant last year and I found you guys to take Runi her dog to. It was such a pleasant experience I wanted to bring our newly adopted dog here. I guess since I'm not the celebrity in this instance, I will be treated much differently. I truly regret bringing my dog to your shop. Your employees should really be aware of how they talk to customers. So unhappy. read more
