I went here once early in the afternoon two years back to see a dancer whom I knew from another club. While she wasn't on the clock, I nevertheless made myself home. I will say that the decor and layout were both really nice (but the Dolphin fountain out in the front was lacking running water). The dancers and bartender on at the time were both decent and friendly, but not exactly memorable. I got bored really quick so I just finished my beer and then made my way out. This club just didn't appeal to me at all and was not worth the journey I had made to it. I been going too dollphin for quite some time and hands down there club is still the best in portland metro area. The dj and bartenders bouncers and mngmt are all real nice friendly people.to me its like family they treat you like one of there own and by all means everybody has fallin on hard times but yet he still invites u in even if he doesnt make a dime that day. But he allwase stays open and very friendly and family kind of people who work there. First I pay the more expensive than I'd expect cover charge, then I pay $12 per drink for my buddy and I (it's his birthday), then two of the girls come up to us and ask us if they can sit next to us, so I said sure, why not. Within a few minutes one starts asking for a drink, after being really nice for a while I obliged, and later I get the receipt and it's double what I would expect. Turns out her friend was adding her drinks to my tab without even asking! I bring this up to the waitress and she brings the manager out. The manager tells me that my story (and my friends) doesn't align with his staff and he asks us to leave after reducing the check by only $10. The girls were nice at first, but they are really itching for money and the entire place does anything to get you to open your wallet for them. read more

So wife went out of town for a week, so I took it upon myself to get reacquainted with the Portland Meat Market and check out some places I haven't been to before. Heard good things about Dolphin II so I went in for lunch. Wow, it was just me and two older gentlemen in there. Only 2 dancers were there, but it's all good I really just wanted some lunch anyway. Ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and the BBQ wings. Teriyaki was pretty good, but the wings could've been better. The cook just poured some BBQ sauce over them instead putting them in a sauce bin so they are fully covered. Anyway I could see this place being decent when it's night-time. Chatted it up with one of the strippers and got two lap dances from her. I'd have to say it was one of the better lap dances I've gotten since I've been in Portland. She also told me about a few other strip clubs that aren't well known but give great lap dances. Only minus is that it's right across the street from Target. Kinda feels weird going in, knowing that soccer moms are right across the street. ***Also, just as a side note, I just LOVE reading reviews where people give bad reviews to places they haven't been, or people who refer to the other customers as "dumb asses or retarded" for spending money there. It has been awhile since I have been here.... Gotta say I am NOT impressed with the changes. You cannot sit at the stages and tip/enjoy the dancer's show, the alcohol prices are ridiculously expensive and there were only 5 dancers working the club. Not a good Saturday night! Granted it is April 2021 and a lot of people are still crying about the Covid EPIDEMIC. The bartenders need to learn how to properly serve the many different types of alcohol. Scotch does not get served in a shot glass. It is served by the dram in a highball glass. The only good thing I will say is that the bartender (Matraca) was amazing! She deserves to be working in a club worthy of her personality and talent. All that being said, save your money and go somewhere else!!! read more

There's a new club policy of giving all change as two dollar bills. I don't care for the attempt to coerce bigger tips, and the twos are a pain to use elsewhere. I think that Randal never made into the Dolphin. Food? Come on. This place is the one with the helicopter out front isn't it? Oh yeah, and the live entertainment is STELLAR. The original Dolphin is on McLaughlin about a mile from the Acropolis, but this stupid Yelp thing won't let me add it. The drinks are way over priced and there might be half of a shot in each drink. Lastly, if you do make it to dolphin ii don't come on a weekday or anytime before 9pm... She is blonde. I had a lap dance with her. But I regretted spending $20 on that dance since I am not really attracted to her and it is set up by my friend. She was fake on every part of her body. When she tried to talk to me, we felt so disconnected since she cannot talk about anything intelligent beside suffocating me with her pair of "water filled baloon". In the end, I had a great time. But I honestly prefer girls who have less fake meat on their body and more natural smile. I dont think you need to be intelligent to be stripper but at least be able to talke like normal person. the Dolphin II does not for a good time make really. First let me say this - pretty much any strip club in America can be redeemed at least for a few songs by a good and pretty girl. It can be a stnky dive, or an overpriced glamour hole but if you are sitting at the rack and a girl comes out who hits all the right buttons of what you think is hot well, the rest of the place goes by by for a few minutes. And DII has a few girls who fit that bill for me... But... if they aren't dancing then I look around and... I see overpriced drinks, an unnecessary cover every night, overpriced food menu, food is just OK not that great. Dancers stuck in corners where they can't leave those corners unless they are performing. Why is this? It is because those particular dancers are under 21! 2 song sets where the songs are often cut off before they are really over (norm is 3-4 at other places depending on night). Girls sometimes don't get fully nude (which is standard at other clubs) and the few times I've gotten private dances they haven't been fully nude and I've heard one stripper tattling on another stripper for being too touchy feely in the PD area. For a "fancy" VIP room type club, also known as "Vegas style" I prefer Stars - girls there are more into it. I won't go back to D2 after the last few visits. read more

I went to a lot of places and the nicest by far is the dolphin . Prices are reasonable for gentlemen club . I went to the bathrooms they are very nice and clean unlike most of the clubs I been too . Beware! Very expensive place to attend on a Saturday night. The cover was almost 3x as much as other places and drinks were very expensive too. Being from California.. WOW! 3 strippers on the main dance floor and one behind you on another single table...The DRINKS...Shit the bartenders were generous to a fault...not stingy at all and they even poured more than a shot...Lap Dances were a little bit high but some of those ladies...well it was worth it...Went the first night on vacation in here in Oregon and went back the next night..Cover price was cheap!!! Tonight, had a bartender give me a ROTTEN lime in my tequila shot and told me that was the only lime they had left (shortly after another bartender brought a fresh lime for me). Sad to say service here sucks. 1-2 attractive girls there. Yet, very expensive. And don't put out as much as other clubs during private dances. Management even pulled a girl from my room MID DANCE and never came back. Was randomly charged 10 dollars covered on a Tuesday night. Thought two girls there were great -- especially the goddess that was fit as hell in the nurse outfit (and ofc the cat ear girl but...)-- and going to be my regulars but after the second interaction with them -- personality turned to be shit. Update date for July 4-5-6-7 2013 visit. Stopped by on my tour though clubs in P'land. Great new or new to me bartender with BIG UM,ER,ah, oh heck you know. Cold beer - very friendly dancers - about time. Maybe a new manager since they had plenty of dancers ( not just one) and I enjoyed a few 20 buck dances. I do not do the 100 buck three song backroom since they have VIDEO CAMERAS back there. I do not do anything to worry the dancer but who want to be watched - NOT ME! Recommend for a quick stop. One thing I do not like is the 2-dollar bills they give for change. I don't get a stack of bills any more- just enough to get by. I just moved to the Portland area recently and this was my first night out looking for a good lap dance. Since I live in Beaverton, there wasn't a lot of choices but I am glad I picked the Dolphin 2. The drinks are a bit overpriced for their quality but its booze nontheless. I had private dances from Harley and Nicole. They both were fun. I will definately be back. I have been to this club before in the past and I have had pleasant experiences, however, my recent visit was quite different. This used to be a great place for my colleagues and I to unwind after golf or a bachelor party destination, but unfortunately it has gone downhill. The dancers used to be top caliber, and the bar staff had beautiful, fit and toned blondes. Now the women behind the bar leave much to be desired, for instance, one resembles a prepubescent girl who talks like she has inhaled a helium balloon. She is very rude and will take her tip before returning your change, if you confront her about your change you will receive a rude, indignant response. I enjoy a beautiful woman, not an underdeveloped, sour bartender with a nasty disposition and blue hair/trashy tattoos. Which brings me to the other bartender who is a redhead, which isn't a bad thing, I love redheads. She has an attractive face, but a beer gut that rivals that of my crane operator. The drinks are also not those of past experience, they are weak with more ice. I will say that the private dances are great and the dance area is nice and comfortable. I also enjoyed the company of my dancer who was very sweet with a rockin' bod. The DJ and doorman were also nice and professional. All things said, the bartender is one of the most important positions in the club, which requires a friendly attitude and customer service skills. I would hope in the future I could have a better experience, I will give it another chance, but if my next visit is disappointing I will just go to Stars. read more

The girls (day and night shift!) are so beautiful in their own ways. A lot of diversity, which is super important to me as a patron. The day shift is quieter and it is easier to talk to the dancers. The owner is very picky because all of the girls (except one or 2) are beautiful and charming. Some are more approachable than others, but they are there to make money.The drinks are overpriced to hell and back, and one private dance is too expensive but at least its private ;). I like day shift because there are some stunning women that I can actually have a decent conversation with without disturbance. Aly and Christina are my favorites. Smart and gorgeous. Coming from a female, the place was to dirty to feel comfortable. I had to look for a clean table to set my drinks on. And I love strip clubs so I go all the time. A lot of the tables were dirty with used cups and beer bottles. I also noticed that there was dirty towels near the satellite stage and frequently throughout the place when I went to find my seat. The dancers performed well and "earned" there money and worked hard for it. The aura throughout the club was tense though. You could tell some dancers, (a little drunker than others) were sloppy and started problems with other co workers. Nothing worse than a sloppy dancer who is to drunk to perform. But a few of the dancers were causing problems for the other dancers. And Im sorry, but if I can tell there's tension between girls, that just ruins my fun. Tell your sloppy girls to keep drama for their personal lives. Paying customer's don't want to be affected by it. Especially when my boyfriend is interested in one dancer, and another comes up to cock block. If he wanted you, he would have picked you.
