Sourdough Bread Company is a nice, clean establishment. House music playing throughout the restaurant. House specialties are their sandwiches on freshly baked breads, sides, soups, and salads. Simple typography decor. One unisex restroom only. It seems to be a family business. The service was outgoing, friendly and helpful. My wife got the Garlic Pesto Turkey: housespread, lettuce, tomato, onion, yellow or dijon mustard, choice of cheese (monterey jack). This garlic pesto is white. We thought they forgot it, but they were nice to point out that it was on the sandwich and their version was a white sauce NOT green. Our bad, but they were so sweet! They offered to remake the sandwich which was not necessary as we were mistaken. I normally get pastrami or pastrami reuben. Though, today, I went with the Turkey Cranberry: housespread, lettuce, tomato, onion, yellow or dijon mustard, choice of cheese (provolone). This was different than most other places, as the cranberry wasn't as sweetly tart, and thick like you would expect. It was more like a sweet jam. The turkey meat was a decent amount. I am glad I tried it but personally next time I'll try another of their sandwiches. Overall, the bread was good. It has that crispy freshness and soft. Though, I wish it was toasted or served warm. The pickle was pretty decent. I'd revisit as they were friendly and so welcoming. Support this local business!

Poor value. Breakfast sandwiches were on English muffins, not even toasted. Tiny size and way too salty. You'll get better value and taste going to McDonald's! Bacon, Egg & Cheese $6.49 Sausage, Egg & Cheese $6.99

Update: went back to try their French Dip sandwich as promised! I was tempted by the server and up-sized to a meal which comes with soup and drink. It was cold and rainy (and since I /just/ had the clam chowder) so I opted for chicken noodle soup! They definitely don't skimp on anything! So much tender beef in the sandwich, plenty of chicken and noodle in the soup, and the bread is delicious as well. Also for the jus, in most other places I run out by the time I finish only half my sandwich, but this place gave me plenty! I would argue that the jus is the heart of a good French Dip sandwich, so I really appreciate them giving me enough to dip the whole sandwich in it! Again did not disappoint, will have to see what I will try next time!

Service was great and very helpful. The all American crunch was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Ever. The clam chowder was okay though. I look forward to going again for their Sammie's.

Came here to grab a quick bite a few weeks ago with family. Everything was pretty good and what you would expect. Soup was good, bread was good, sandwich was good. No complaints.

The lady at the cashier was super friendly and even gave us cookie samples when I said the cookies looked good. However, the sandwiches are very small for the price: 4" for $12.99, 6" for $13.99, and 8" for $14.99. Making the sandwich a meal is $9.99 for a soup and drink. Bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and there was a decent amount of meat. But spending over $40 for two sandwiches and a small soup is not worth it to me.

The place is decorated nicely and is very clean. The workers are very nice and have great customer service. The sandwich was delicious and one of the ladies gave out little free cookies and checked on me half way through the meal. Very well run and would recommend.

=== Friendly, family-run, high quality == Heads up: there are TWO Sourdough lunch places within walking distance of each other. This one (Sourdough Bread Company) and Sourdough & Co. Our group ordered five sandwiches and we got to try each others. * Just opened a few weeks ago. + Food is high quality. ++ Clearly family run - the entire family was there when we went to pick up the food! + Really kind and friendly service. +++ Garlic Pesto Turkey sandwich. If you love saucy sandwiches, this is your jam. All sorts of flavors, packed with sauce, amazing. This is my new go-to. ++ Caprese. Caprese sandwiches usually end up being milquetoast vegetarian options. This one stood out: strong, fresh flavors. + French Dip -- I'm not a fan of cheese so the mozzarella was tough for me but those that love French Dip in our group certified this as the real thing. * Smoked Brisket. Meat was good but I found it a bit dry. Again, I'm a saucy sandwich fan so YMMV. * All-American Crunch. We ordered this one without one of the sauces. And I think that made a difference. Would try it again with all the sauces. (You're seeing a pattern here, right?) + Interior was warm-looking (warm like friendly, not like 90 F) and clean. Wouldn't think twice about eating there. Sadly, took no photos of the sandwiches because we were so hungry and they were good sandwiches!

way too much mayo and mustard
    Steven F.

First off, $15.47 including tax for a 6-Inch sandwich. Wow my fault didn't see the price but didn't expect that price. I ask for just Mayo and Mustard as my dressing I did NOT expect them to give me the whole bottle of each. 5 people in the restaurant, no customers no "to-go" no activity but yet it took almost 10 minutes to make the sandwich. Sorry guys won't be coming back.

I didn't see any reviews or photos on the wrap, let's change that. I got 2 wraps: 1 Blazing Bird and 1 Date Delight (for someone else). He did not like his for some reason, but I cant' say much because I didn't try it. I got the blazing bird and it is honestly one of the best wraps I've had. It is good, crunchy and their sauce that comes with it is yummy too. I first saw it and thought, WOW, this is big, but I ate it all. The only thing I would say is it could use a little more chicken. This is probably why I was able to finish it, it did lack some chicken. I also got the bone broth and that is also very delicious. Overall the wrap is a 4. It would be 5 if it had more chicken. I will still get the wrap and bone broth again.

The ordering process was frictionless, a masterclass in digital seduction that had me eagerly anticipating a chef-crafted meal in the comfort of my home. The first red flag, which I chose to ignore in my state of marketing-induced optimism, was the price. The bill reflected the rates of a buzzy neighborhood bistro, setting an expectation of quality, creativity, and care. Still, hope remained. Credit where it's due: the delivery was impeccable. It arrived precisely on time, the package left on my porch with a care that suggested its contents were precious. Unpacking the still-warm containers felt like a minor victory. This, I thought, is modern convenience perfected. We plated the spread: a half-roasted chicken, seasoned sweet potatoes, sauteed green beans, a side salad, and a Friday-night pizza. It looked the part. But as my partner and I took our first bites, a silent, damning verdict was passed in our shared glances. The pizza tasted as if I had just whipped up a frozen Red Baron from the grocery store aisle. We moved from dish to dish, a desperate search for a single redeeming flavor, but each was a greater disappointment than the last. The chicken was tragically bland, the sweet potatoes merely sweet with a seasoning that was more of a rumor than a reality, and the green beans possessed the weary sigh of having been steamed hours prior. Then, as the full scope of the culinary letdown settled in, the phrase escaped my lips with horrified clarity: "We've been Gooped!" The realization was crushing. This wasn't the work of a chef. This was the soulless, indifferent output of a ghost kitchen assembly line. It was food born of apathy, cooked by someone watching the clock, utterly disconnected from the person who would eventually eat it. The flavors were muted, the textures monotonous, and the entire meal lacked a cohesive point of view. It was a collection of items, not a composed dinner. Frankly, I have had more satisfying and flavorful food from a 7-Eleven hot dog roller. My middle school cafeteria lunches, once the benchmark for culinary misery, now seem like a fond memory in comparison. This leads to a cascade of questions for the brand itself. Where did you go wrong, Goop? Was this the plan all along--to build a beautiful facade for a product with no soul? Where is the quality control? Who is tasting this before it's sealed and sent to your trusting customers? We may never get the answers. The only certainty is that this was my first and last time using this service. Consider this a public service announcement: unless you enjoy paying a premium for profound disappointment, this is one service you can absolutely pass on. Save your money, save your evening, and walk down the street to a decent restaurant that actually cares.
