I've never been here before and knew I wanted something for breakfast, but not a donut. I was so indecisive and I let the gentleman behind me go ahead of me and he talked about how delicious the tacos are. I went with his recommendation and he was not wrong! I got the bacon, egg and cheese taco and the refried bean and cheese taco. The bacon was so crispy inside the taco! This used to be my go to place for donuts for the kids, until one day I sat in line at the drive thru for 5 minutes with no service. The "open" sign was on, but no one helped me and I left, finding Crown Donuts just down the road. The switch was well worth it, since the service at Crown was not only immediate, but the donuts don't leave a ring of grease in the bottom of the bag. This place was terrible. Let's start with the rude service. Both cashiers on our visit on 5/19/19 were terrible and rude. As for the donuts I took 1 bite and cringed. Took a second bite and then decided to throw it in the trash. This is something I have never done before so this must mean this is the worst donut I have ever had in my life. I'd mainly attribute it to batter being too sweet so when the glaze was added it was just too much. No balance no taste just pure sugar. Then I tasted the coffee which the employees said was what they are known for. I threw that in the trash too. It wasn't terrible like the donut. Yippee, their donuts are as delicious as I was told! Bad news is this is not going to help me shrink that growing mass behind me that I lug around! Aside from fresh made donuts, cream puffs, and pastries, they have kolachies, tasty coffee and the standard drink options. They keep it super clean and family friendly, lots of colorful art on the walls, and tables for the little crumb snatchers. They have a drive thru so the lady working the register was busy running back and forth between the two. She apologized profusely for the short wait, I suspect they were down a person because I can't imagine one person doing both walk up and drive thru service. This place is walkable from our place (neighborhood behind it) so it's been a nice pit stop especially for when we go on walks with the kids. The twisted cinnamon is my fav, the raspberry jelly, glazed, and chocolate eclair are also always a hit. The only thing I wished was that there were a plain unglazed cake donut option as my kids love to bring them home and decorate them with fruit and sugary goodness on the weekends for breakfast. We went in one morning during the summer and as we were waiting for our order, a lady walked in behind us with no mask. She was politely reminded that it was an ordinance and she walked back to her car to get it unhappily. I had just lost my both my uncle and aunt in that same week to corona, so it particularly meant a lot in that moment and I really appreciated it. I love the people who work here also.. always polite and helpful. We make it a point to pick up or have it delivered at least once a week and the kids always look forward to it! read more

Disgusting. That is all I have to say in regard to "The Donut Hole". We drove through the run down and sketchy drive through, and we we're immediately met with a very rude employee who when we asked for a couple minutes to decide just stared at us with an unfriendly grimace. The donut holes were a disgrace to the name with their hard interior and hardly glazed exterior. It looked like my two year old nephew made them. On the other hand, the kolaches were even worse. We had them warmed up but when we bit into them we were faced with a luke-warm undercooked bun and a cold, hard, chewy, and disgusting sausage. We spit them out and are hoping we don't get food poisoning. Do not recommend. read more

Best donuts in town hands down. The Donut Hole locations have spoiled me over the years so that donuts I used to enjoy (like Shipley's growing up in Houston) no longer seem very good to me. I would recommend all of their locations to anyone. My only complaint is that they tend to run out of donuts early, but I guess that is part of having a good product. read more

The owners likely don't care about my review, but I won't be coming back. Sometimes it's the little things, like a locally owned business that drives my decision to give some places business but if you have something on your menu like decaf coffee and then don't have it, its those little things that add up. First off, the lady was rude and its not the first time I've come in there and been treated like my being a customer was bothering their day. ( to be fair, I've also been in there and customer service has been fantastic as well) but instead of "Sorry, we don't have ant decaf, I can make some for you, if you have a few minutes" it was "Um, we don't have any decaf right now, I can get you some regular coffee though" It's bad enough that it costs 4 bucks for a piece of ham and a piece of cheese on a croissant and even a kolache that is mostly dough and a tiny piece of meat for almost 2 bucks, but when you have a menu I expect that you should have the items on your menu, especially something like coffee. I'll go somewhere else from now on for my breakfast. read more
