Let me start out by saying I don't even like donuts usually. This place temporarily changed my mind! The kolaches are to DIE for. We got the sausage and cheese, spinach and artichoke, and ham and cheese. They don't use hot dogs in their sausage and cheese like most places, they use actual sausage and it's soooo yummy. My boyfriend didn't like the spinach ones but I thought they were tasty. If you like the dip, you'll like them! The ham and cheese were the best though. My boyfriend got a raspberry filled donut and a glazed twist. He loves donuts and was super impressed with these! We are going to bring the kids back to pick out one of the fun flavors...they had Cookie Monster donuts, Elmo donuts, fruity pebble covered donuts, Oreo donuts, and cocoa puff donuts!

Tired, sometimes stale donuts, home to many Texas Flies. Flop could use some mopping. Please avoid this establishment

I have been to their Steiner Ranch location but was not sure where the original location was until today when I happened to pass by on the way to one of my accounts in Lakeway. I had planned on lunching at Two Hot Mammas a couple doors down but after I had an hour to think about it I decided to try some more of their Kolaches. Great decision because their savory Kolaches are amazing little sweet yeasty dough balls surrounding savory yumminess! I decided on a Ham & Cheese and Spinach & Artichoke Kolache and both were delicious. Nice cheap light lunch that I will be back for. I grew up with Czech Grandparents so trust me that I know my Kolaches and the Donut Hole's are awesome savory sweet yeast rolls! Their posted address did not include their web address it is www.lakewaydonuthole.com so you can check out all their yummies:)

Well they say they have Kolaches, but hey only have Klobansnikys (Pigs in a Blanket). They might want to change the name, kind of like calling a burrito at taco. #czechtexans #getitright

Whoever thought of candy on top of donuts is a genius and deserves the key to the city. My kids go nuts for this place! This place is booming with people on the weekends... It's a must try and if you have kids be ready for them to get hooked!

Gordough's is one of those places that fully commits to indulgence. I was able to place my order online and schedule for pick up. The order was ready when I arrived. Parking was a bit challenging and the lot was full and they charge for parking. Service was quick, casual, just good energy and fast turnaround. I ordered my tried and true Miss Shortcake with their famous cake donut with cream cheese icing and fresh cut strawberries. The donut is so indulgent and was served warm with the most delectable flavor combinations. Tried the Son of a Peach with cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter. This one was a bit too overindulgent and sweet for my liking but was definitely worth a try. Portions are huge and can be shared as the donut is not as good warmed over. Why am I going to one in Austin? Well, it's because I am a completeist and I try to go to as many Voodoo Doughnut locations as I can. Austin has two locations but Steve was only willing to tolerate going to one location so we went here. The doughnuts are going to be about the same as any other location however I did come across one that I haven't seen before. I am not sure if it was limited edition or what but I liked it. It was kind of take on a Black Forest Cake but it wasn't cherries that were on top of the doughnut and cream. It was more like blueberries. It was good and I am glad I tried it! I was really hoping to see the Ring of Fire Doughnut as it's my favorite but I didn't see it here. I got more of a powdered doughnut too as I do like their more basic doughnuts too. Steve got something that almost was like a Dubai-esque Chocolate Doughnut. It had pistachios on it and was a chocolate cake. That one was good too! Atmosphere is weird and quirky like all of their locations try to be which I can appreciate. So if you are addicted to Voodoo Doughnuts or have been wanting to try them but don't plan any PNW trips then definitely swing by the Texas locations. More and more locations are popping up all of the time!

The Glazed Yeast (The Prime Donut)......... if a donut maker can't do glazed, you might as well forget about the rest. Fantastic. Perfect. The glaze that flakes though moist and a donut that slightly squishes, pops slightly back and has that perfect texture....... And yes Flavor! Perfect Glazed. Well done. A good size and not a weak donut. I did a fancy chocolate cake donut of the Butterfinger kind. A fantastic blend of a good chocolate cake and the touch of peanut from the crisp. A good combo of about 50/50 share of flavor. Focusing on the cake donut resulted in a favorable chocolate cake donut. Freshness is key. Lastly was a buttermilk bar. Good, just good. I know where to get great. You'll have to read my other donut posts to find out where. Just good. Glaze could improve and the complete cool through would be helpful. The dough was alright, not bad. Good ingredients and a nice flavor. On a level of poor, fair, good to great........ Good.

I was craving Ube and might have gone a bit overboard on ordering dessert because they had so many Ube options. The building is colorful and decorated in bright pink with fun artwork and decor for an uplifting vibe. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

We were on Rainey street for SXSW and I had seen several people with the pink bag with a dog stamped on the front and wanted to see what all the hype was about. We came across the pink trailer with the dog logo and decided to give it a try. Service was quick and friendly, I was able to place my order and they accepted Apple Pay. Everything was made fresh to order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it when you get them hot. I tried the Italian cream cake donuts. They have specialty flavors that were $1 more and all of them were appealing to me. Unfortunately, you can not order a sampler pack of different flavors and have to just pick one flavor which is why I am giving 4 stars. My recommendation would be to offer a sampler pack as to not have to commit to one flavor. The pink dog stamped package came with multiple tiny donuts inside. They were freshly made, soft, and served warm. My friend ordered the regular donuts and I have to say that I didn't notice the Italian cream cake flavor as much as I would have liked compared to the original. There was a good balance of sweetness and a creamy, slightly rich profile without feeling overly heavy. The mini size is perfect because you can try a few without feeling like you've gone overboard and it is great for sharing. Overall, Little Lucy's is a solid dessert stop when you want something warm, fresh and satisfying. I would not recommend paying extra for the specialty flavors like Italian cream cake donuts and will just go with the original donuts in the future.
