I like small donut shops, and this one was no exception. The donuts were very good and the owner was very nice. I've knocked down a star because none of the donuts had labels telling me what they were, so we had to ask about every one which got tedious. Also, they didn't seem to have much variety. I didn't expect them to have bacon flavored donuts as another reviewer said (this place is not that kind of uppity place), however all the donuts looked the same with just a different topping on them. I would have liked to see coconut cooked into the coconut donut as well as on top if you get what i'm saying. read more

These are the best doughnuts I have had in Denver. That's not saying much because Denver is not much of a doughnut city. The owner is friendly and wants to make you happy. They charge for filling the donuts with cream or jelly which is unusual but I suppose I can understand the justification for that. Don't expect anything amazing but you will have very tasty donuts. read more

I discovered The Donut House recently. Their donuts are so fresh and they have a great variety. The fritters are amazing and they have a bunch of flavors - apple, blueberry, pineapple and cherry. The last time I was there I bought a glazed donut covered in custard and cut up strawberries that looked like it had a flower on top. It was one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life! I walked in the door and the entire place was empty, with no workers in sight. I went to the counter and saw an employee washing something at the sink in the back. I waited a politly waited a while for someone to approach. After some time I rang the bell that was on the counter which caused him to turn around and look at me. He without saying anything, turned back around and continued washing. I was never greeted. I was never even acknowledge. I hope this day was a rare case and that your establishment actually understands what customer service is. read more

There is such a difference between the store in Castle Rock and Parker...Castle Rock Cro holes are fresher have less glaze...I was excited to see the. Their donuts are amazing! People are all into the "Voodoo Donut" craze of trying to be as outlandish as possible with their styles. I've found that most of the time all of that flavor is just trying to cover up a crappy donut. Omar doesn't play that game. He sticks to the basics, bear claws, crème filled, fruit filled, glazed.
