Believe me, if you are going in for one or two- you will want extra for later or to share with friends. I usually get a dozen and take them down the road to some coworkers. They gave the same review! I found them on google and decided to stop in last minute. They had a fantastic variety of donuts not to mention great food and great coffee. The staff and/or owners were very very friendly and helpful and made easy conversation. The donuts are not greasy or sugary like your typical donut shop might be. It's hard to describe the donuts but they are wonderful, not at all greasy or over sugary and each with its own wonderful flavor. The atmosphere is very clean and sleek and there is ample parking for everyone. If your family, friends or people you're with don't want donuts for breakfast, no worries, there is something for everyone and they can always try the other food available for lunch which has great ratings and looks wonderful. I will be back every time I get a chance to support this wonderful establishment and it's local owners. For 12 donuts plus a cup of fantastic coffee my tab was around $17. Not really that much more than regular donut shops and the product is 1000 times better. Love this place! The maple bacon donut. Yes, that should totally be a sentence on its own; and when read correctly, you will salivate and drop everything to plan your next trip to The Donut Kitchen. So far I have tried two of their paninis (chicken and roast beef) and they're both incredible. Bring cash if you like to tip friendly people for wonderful service, because there's no tip option when you pay with credit card. If you're coming for the first time, don't expect to see the restaurant from the road, just trust your gps and go slow when you're close! I love Strawberries & Chocolate so much, if I was a donut this would be me. When there's only a few left and a long line I get anxiety. One time a 3 yo got 1 of 4 remaining and I was thinking what a waste ... he couldn't get Sprinkles or Fruity Pebbles or some other shit. Yeah, this is how much I love this donut I start giving a 3 yo the side eye. Most of the time I'm lucky but when I'm not I'll get a Blueberry Glaze. Their strawberry and blueberry cake base are so moist and true to flavor. And I'm persnickety about these 2 donuts being available because the sweetness is balanced. I like that all the specialities aren't overdone (like Hypnotic...) and they're simple but are true to their name. The donuts here are soooooo good! My favorite so far is probably the italian wedding cake. Im not sure which kind of cream they use, but its super creamy and tangy at the same time. We also had the fruity pebbles and strawberry lemon. Fruity pebbles was fruity and crunchy, the strawberry lemon tastes like strawberry lemonade! I cant wait to try other donuts from here. We also tried the large kolaches and I am not a fan. Its basically a sausage cooked around a very thin croissant. The sausage was very thick and hard to bite off and chew. Do yourself a favor and go to here! Wow, talk about an indulgence when it comes to donuts. Note: these are all cake donuts, so if a dense donut is not your thing, then don't go to here. We always get a maple bacon donut (prepare yourself for a sad day if you get there too late to get one, which isn't uncommon) and usually try some other random flavor. So far, the key lime pie has been my favorite, followed by the banana. Texas sheet cake was ok, I haven't ordered it since, but to be fair I'm not a huge chocolate fan. Also always ordered other offerings, a large kolache with the andouille sausage. I've tried the chicken breakfast sandwich and fritatta sandwich - both come on a SUPER flaky croissant.
