Very nostalgic decor with an extremely attentive staff. Porsche was there at the exact perfect moment. Food was great. We were on the 4th floor with live music - very fun. Thanks to all.

Wonderful food, drinks, and service!! Came here for Saturday brunch to try a new spot, and I'm so happy I found this restaurant. The service was great - we felt taken care of from the moment we walked in. I was also pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the menu prices were. We ordered a little bit of everything: * Chef's Seasonal Dip - $10 * Creole Pan-Seared Shrimp - $20 * Brisket Hash - $18 * Brioche French Toast - $12 * Mimosa Flight - $12 * Gin-Up Buttercup - $13 * Lover Bug - $13 * Crimson Star - $12 Every bite (and sip!) was delicious, and you can really taste the quality in the ingredients. It was the perfect brunch date. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying even more menu items!

Service and ambience are excellent! Food for good. We did brunch , the food was alright. They don't fresh juices or espressos like a lot of brunch places. I got the breakfast hash, it was a bit bland. The house made tortillas was excellent though. We probably did not order the best items, our food tasted a bit bland. Deviled eggs was the exception, that was great!

Beautiful interior, great staff, fresh food, and delicious food!!! I love that they're so reasonably priced and have fresh harvest foods. The brioche French toast was probably one of the best I've ever had, a sweet crunch and soft inside. Staff was thorough and helpful. The interiors is beautiful! We enjoyed our brunch

Date Night favorite! Reservations are a MUST. Live AMAZING Music Amazing Service Tasty Food Filling Portions We started with cocktails, an Ol Fashioned for him & a Grapefruit Martini for me - both were greatly enjoyed. We had to try the Deviled Eggs as we've seen so many photos of them on Yelp. They were okay, but nothing special (IMHO), would try something else next time. Entree time & we were starving! He's a sucker for Short Ribs & I'm a sucker for fish so we both were thrilled to see great options for both. -My American Snapper was good, but I was most impressed by the accompaniments to my fish - corn squash / garbanzo beans / Brussels sprout / fresh herbs / chemoula sauce chili oil / grilled lemon. The portion was more than filling and was so tasty, best part it was dairy free so I didn't have to augment it at all! -His Braised Short Rib was good, but a little dryer than normal. Still my hubby finished it all. His accompaniments - fingerling potatoes / leeks / roasted carrots / mustard / béarnaise / pickled jalapeño definitely added to the dish. Not sure he'd order this again. For dessert my hubby chose the Apple Crisp dish and it did not disappoint! I chose a glass of the Gruet, Sparkling, Albuquerque, NM (closest thing they had to Prosecco) and it was delicious! We were treated to the music of The Jon Christopher Davis band and they were incredible! We both agreed this is a MUST return place and already have reservations to return for our next date night.

We went to The Harvest on Saturday night and had a great overall experience. I requested a table on the third floor, which had a really nice live band playing. The place was packed, but the service was excellent and the ambiance had a great vibe definitely top-notch in that regard. To start, we tried the deviled eggs, which are a signature item. They were just okay. The pecan topping was a nice touch, but the yolk lacked flavor and tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge. The beef skewers, on the other hand, were fantastic. The sauce was rich and flavorful definitely a highlight. We also had the fried shrimp. They were big, crunchy, and well-cooked, just not particularly memorable. For the entrée, we shared the short rib, and it was amazing. The meat was so tender you could pull it apart with a fork. It came with mashed cauliflower / potatoes .. excellent flavor all around. We also ordered the beet and arugula salad with fresh burrata. It was fresh, but needed some olive oil or seasoning...it just felt incomplete. Dessert was a hit. The goat cheese lime pie was absolutely phenomenal A+++. My boyfriend also enjoyed the cookie set, especially the chocolate chip. Oh and the drinks is a MUST!! Nice from scratch. Overall, it was a very nice experience. We'd definitely go back to try more from the menu.

Tye food was delicious! Everything from appetizers, through soup and dishes was very flavorful. it was presented in a pleasing way too. The deviled eggs had a nice touch of beets and big pecans, the chicken and rice soup was just what I needed on a rainy day too. Our main dishes were a petite filet and a pork roast and were both 10/10. The cranberry mocktail was very refreshing. The service was great- our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back soon!

Excellent food and service tonight! Logan made excellent recommendations and took great care of us! We sat at the first floor bar and loved the atmosphere. This was our first time here but we will be back!

I was participating in an event in McKinney and couldn't make it to dinner until well after 8pm. I asked around and the locals sent me here. For good reason. The menu makes it difficult to choose; everything looks amazing. In the end, I went with chicken fried steak and it was delicious. Well seasoned, well fried, and very tasty. I was alone so they seated me at the bar.. which is why I have this floral cocktail. Very strong! (Yikes!!) the service was excellent and I love the decor. I would definitely come here again on my next visit.

1,000 reviews! Great job y'all! This was an amazing happenstance! A "surprise me" suggestion from Yelp turned into a wonderfully flavorful evening! We snagged a spot on the 3rd floor and had a great dinner with live music. The waitress was amazing, and had lovely suggestions. The patrons seem a bit rude and impatient, nearly pushing you away to grab your spot. Some people, right? Other than a couple rude patrons it was very enjoyable and we will be back!!

We came without reservations on a Friday night and the place was booked. We managed to find available seating on the 3rd floor, which was more set up for just having some drinks and not a full on dinner. Nevertheless we decided to order full dinner menu; it was a bit of a tight fit but we made it work. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we didn't have to wait long to get our orders taken and our drinks served. Place was lively and they have a band playing. I ordered the Left Hook Lenda cocktail which was recommended by our server. The cucumber taste makes it very refreshing and it had a right amount of sweetness and alcohol. For dinner I got the bayette wagyu steak, done just the way I like it. The caramelized onions/roasted red pepper beef jus and rice on the side was a delight and enjoyable. My son had beef skewers, while it was delish it was a bit chewy for him to eat. Hubby got the chicken fried steak which he thoroughly enjoyed; the mashed potatoes were very creamy and delish . I would definitely come back here, but next time I will make sure to make reservations to get a better table for eating to make the dinner even more enjoyable.

Both drinks 10/10. Both were very refreshing and light! Ambiance on the third story was so cool! Very date night vibes/speak easy feels. I love the leather chairs. The other 2 stories looked beautiful but we just passed through Half bird entree - pretty dang good! Nothing particular special about it but that doesn't mean it was bad Pork tenderloin topped with okra chips, peach chorizo on top of a bed of hash-browns & aioli sauce -- 100000/10. We'd come back just for this dish! Lisa, our waitress, recommended it and she did not steer us wrong! Great place, great vibes, and great food & service.

    Ribeye steak drizzled in mustard
    Tiffany T.

Went for my birthday dinner. It was our first time going to the 2nd floor; we really enjoyed the vibes and the live music. For appetizers we ordered the seasonal dip & the fried shrimp. The seasonal dip was delicious had the right amount of sweet & savory with the sweat potato & pistachio crust. Entrees my husband had the porkchop & I had the ribeye. I guess the chef must have changed since I last been since February. They struggled making my steak pittsburgh style. Last time it had a nice crust. This time they missed the mark first attempt wasn't charred enough & 2nd attempt was too charred . I was also in thrown off by the mustard & pickled jalapeños on my steak too. It really brought the entree down, like something a hillbilly that threw random condiments to make a steak look nice. I could see mustard used as a binding for a rub or some seasoning, then seared but not like this. As for drinks, I loved their pear & apple mocktails. My husband enjoyed the cobbler. Overall, everything was delicious except for the ribeye steak.

Ask the Community - Harvest at the Masonic

What is the dress code here?

No dress code really. I've ate at the bar in my tracksuit before. Fairly casual or business casual generally

Are we able to bring in a wine bottle for dinner and if so, what is the corkage fee?

They have a full bar and wine menu. Best to call them and ask as I doubt it's possible. Every time we've had dinner or food here I've never seen anyone bring in their own bottle of wine.

Are you open Christmas Eve and will you take reservations?

    We are closed Christmas Eve

Where is the best place to park?

In a parking lot is my advice.

Do we need to make a reservation?

    yes.

Do they have a kids menu?

I believe the menus are online. There was not a kids section on the current dinner menu. The restaurant seemed very accommodating, but it's truly farm to table. You're not going to find fast-food style chicken fingers or Mac-and-cheese. I personally… Read more

I'm curious if you have any vegan friendly options or options that can be altered to be made vegan? Vegan = NO animal products... No milk, no butter, no meat, no cheese, no egg, no animal stock, no fish sauce, etc. THANK YOU! :)

They have very few vegetarian / vegan options. That's my only complaint about Harvest.

How busy is it for weekend lunch?

Very very very busy. Make. Reso for lunch or dinner and remember they close at 2:30 every day and then reopen for dinner.

The salmon was also well done with crispy edges and a slab of butter that melted right over it great flavor. Hoping that butter option is available for the steak because that's next on my list. Sides were solid too. Only thing I wasn't big on was the fries. They're super thin, so they were crispy but had a slightly hard, borderline stale texture. Just my opinion though. overall still a great experience. Definitely coming back. We love downtown McKinney and so many establishments have that southern charm, friendly service, and just love people. We always bring in a group of paying patrons. Early on we felt there was a clickish vibe, but never thought anything about it. We make friends everywhere, since we are travelers . Last few months we noticed a shift, bartender ruder, lack of service, the regulars shifting their gaze as if something was wrong. Last night ended that for us, and I'm sure they will be thrilled. Our bonus son chose to come here for his celebratory event. We invited a variety of people we knew, local talents, professionals, and family. Hateful comments about having a few balloons and party hats and how "you BETTER clean all that UP, I'm not doing it." We were treated with disdain. No service, each person had to get our own menu when we were ready to order, , and silverware after food was served, no one took our drink orders, when we went to the bar-our tabs were closed after each drink order. The bartender, Chevon, (who is always there) was rude and ugly to our whole group and to those she didn't even know was in our group. The new DJ, (Shawn) skipped over our friend twice. Chevron (bartender) who didn't know the person she was speaking to was my sister, said "I hate that guy, all he sings is rock songs." I mean... it karaoke. And that guy she's talking about has been bringing a group of people here for over a year. So carry on the "high school drama" there are a ton of places in McKinney that are lovely and welcoming. When you are hateful to singers, doctors, nurses, business owners, and veterans... that news will travel fast. And as rude and ugly as this review is, it's not near as rude or ugly as we were treated, individually and as a group. If you are gonna be bias to people, you don't need to be serving them. It's sad, because I know Karen and what Spoons means to her and her family. I hope they clean house and start over in the back. FYI (Shawn was a really nice DJ, he was so kind to people celebrating others.) But other than that, I wouldn't recommend The Garage for any new Collin County resident, any bridal party, bachelor party, or group celebrating anything... you can DM me and I'll give you a personal list of plenty of places to go. Many of them walking distance.

While walking through downtown McKinney, my husband and I stopped into Spoons Café for lunch, and…read moreit was a treat. The place has the feel of a vintage café -- the kind that might have been around in the 60s or 70s -- with a warm, nostalgic atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and stay for awhile. We were greeted right away and seated quickly. The menu offered plenty of classic comfort dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The strawberry cake is a must have - if sweets are your thing. And most deserts are made in house. The service was friendly, and the overall vibe felt genuine and welcoming. We left full and happy, already talking about what we'll try next time. If you're in downtown McKinney, Spoons Café is definitely worth a stop.

I will say, along with the food being great we keep coming back because not only is the owner great but she has one amazing server-Christina! ASK FOR CHRISTINIA! She is truly amazing. The only thing I wasn't happy with about the other service was when I came in (8 months pregnant) with 2 young boys on my hand, I asked for a table while waiting on my husband to park the car. The hostess told me everyone needed to be there so I needed to wait in the waiting area. I could definitely understand if it was packed but this day it wasn't & there were more than enough empty tables. Being that far along in pregnancy you just want to sit down comfortably & just start sipping on something cold to drink while you're waiting anywhere. I understand places have rules but sometimes just being purely human & having care for a situation matters more.
