This is the BEST donut place in Southern California, hands down! There are so many options, even vegan options, that it got overwhelming because I wanted to get it all! Matcha cake (VGF; $6.00). This was our most expensive option, and rightfully so! If you're a matcha lover, this will not disappoint. They use good quality matcha and even though it looks like a donut, it tastes like a cake! The interior is small and busy so plan to take these to go. I tried the cronut holes with cinnamon sugar. Personal choice, I should've gotten the plain ones, these were a bit overly sugary. I called to let them know (not complain) that their sugar raised donut was very undercooked and it made me nervous to eat it as I tore it opened the dough was literally like a rubber band! It is difficult to find ones l like and they are spot on. I love that they have specials in the afternoon and I sometimes take advantage of the discount and freeze the extra donuts and they are just as delicious when they're thawed out. I usually get delivery, which is great, quick, fresh, but I have been in the store and it's very organized, and the employees are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Finally had a chance to check this place out after reading the positive reviews. I went in the evening around 9 PM and was surprised to see that there was still a line (albeit it wasn't too long). There is a big selection of doughnuts and they even have some gluten free and vegan options. I ended up getting some malasadas, doughnuts, and mochi doughnuts. My favorite one by far is the blue berry doughnut which was recommended by the staff member as one of their signature items. The doughnut itself was surprisingly not super sweet and you can actually taste the blueberry. I will definitely have to buy it again when I go back. The malasadas were decent, but the custard filling was way too sweet for me. I got tired of eating it halfway through. Mochi doughnuts were decent, but I prefer the mochi nuts version more since they taste more fresh. I'm not really sure how often they cook their items and how long they have been on the display. Overall, this is a great place to go to for late night sweet cravings because they don't apparently close. Quality is pretty good as well. Staff was friendly and I appreciated their recommendations. I do the displays had the descriptions on the bottom cuz it's kind of hard to see the menu on top. My favorites are definitely the PB&J, blueberry cake and the maple bacon. I love the chopped peanuts and there's a good amount of PB&J as filling. The maple bacon has a great thick layer and tastes so fresh. These are also still good the next day or two (if they last that long). We also got the malasadas (pumpkin and ube), the dough was nice and light. The filling I thought tasted a little artificial so I think they prob just used extract. It was still good but not the best I've had. I would prob stick to their donuts. Here do they not only have great donuts, bakery items and numerous favors, but a lot of tasty vegan options and some keto. I have only been vegan for a couple months for health reasons, and this has been a fantastic treat to enjoy once in a while. The vegan cinammon rolls are super good. I could not tell a difference, though its been a while since I've had a normal cinnamon roll, and their's are so good.
