Stopped by around 8 AM on a Friday morning right when it opened and had no trouble finding parking. The shop was quiet, and the worker was very friendly and chatty. It was a little more conversation than I was expecting that early in the morning, but honestly, it made the visit feel more personal. I tried the Oreo, Blueberry Pancake, and Cinnamon Sugar flavors. Everything is made to order, but the wait was only a couple of minutes, so it was easy to grab a few different flavors without spending much time waiting. All three were good, and I'd go back to try some of the other flavors. All were super rich and very sweet, so more of a once-in-a-while treat than an everyday one. The interior is also really cute, with duck decorations throughout the shop. They have a couple of claw machines as well, which adds a fun little touch for the kids and can give you something to do while waiting. We loved coming here when we lived in Huntington Beach. Its at the corner of a large business complex with chairs on the outside. They make the donuts fresh and theres only one person working that can make the wait time long arpund 5-10min. All the donuts are vanilla then they add toppings to them but they are fresh and warm once served. We got a half dozen and that was plenty for myself and 4 kids. Our favorites are the bacon topped donut, the oreo and my kids always love anything with sprinkles. It was very good and ill be back for more whenever I'm close to this area. read more

I decided to come in based on great reviews. I hadnt had breakfast and was at the vet. The woman who greeted me was amazing people, from Tenn. She suggested i try the bacon sunrise donut i think and a coffee donut. I did both. They did nit disappoint. Anazingly good. I didnt think id like the bacon donut but since she suggested it i did it. Came here for ice cream. The place is so cute with rubber ducks on shelves for kids to play with. The staff is friendly and encouraged us to try samples. They had an extensive menu and all their flavors are creative. We ended up with a scoop of exhausted parent and a scoop of smore to love. Exhausted Parent- This was quite an adventure! It has a base of bourbon spiked espresso ice cream that will wake you up. The rich flavor was enhanced with chocolate chips. This place is a true 4.5 star place. I decided to try to find a donut shop on my way to work so I could bring it in for national donut day. I found out that duck donuts is running a promotion for six dollars for six cinnamon sugar donuts. I thought perfect. I had two minutes to run and grab my donuts and head out. Little did I know, donuts are made to order. Giada hooked it up, knowing I was in a rush and with sugar and cinnamon coat my donuts as they were coming out out of the fryer. After letting all my clients grab their donuts, I ended up taking one home to work to share with my husband. We both agreed that re-frying it in the air fryer to warm it back up makes it perfect. We've been coming here since opening. Donuts are exceptionally good, never a disappointment. However, their prices per donut went up to $3.95 each one. The prices are lower if half dozen $17. Picked up a box of the assorted donuts from here from the Too Good to Go app. We had an 11am - 4pm window. Arrived here at 4:05 and the staff was nice enough to honor the purchase made through the app. To our surprise, our donuts were made fresh when we assumed we were just rescuing day old donuts. I haven't had these donuts in years! This place originated from my home state of North Carolina, so I'm no stranger to this place. I forgot how good these donuts are!! I've been to other locations and had no idea there was one right around the corner from my doctors apt. Decided to treat myself lol. There's tons of free parking up close that they share with other businesses in the parking lot I was immediately greeted by staff and had a hard time picking. I went with a 6 box and I even went ahead and got some ice cream (they have about 20 flavors ) they also feature fan favorite donuts and they have a seasonal menu They also have the cutest rubber ducks for sale Please note this isn't your typical donut shop with tons of donuts premade in a case. It's all made to order. When I came there was no line, but I can see if you're pressed for time this being an issue during peak hours. Also, they are on the pricy side since it is a whole experience going and picking which donuts and watching them be made right then and there. I thought this was the coolest thing growing up in NC. The store was empty, yet the cashier--a young woman with a ginger ponytail--didn't greet us or even acknowledge us when we walked in. It felt uncomfortable right from the start. My boyfriend tried to order a donut and was met with a curt "Anything else?" that sounded more annoyed than helpful. I added my donut order, and then he asked what kinds of lemonades they had. Instead of simply answering, she dismissed him with, "It's right here," pointing instead of engaging. She also had AirPods in the whole time, which made her seem even more uninterested in interacting. There was no "Hi," no "Thank you," no effort to make the experience welcoming. My boyfriend and I exchanged looks because we both felt how off-putting her attitude was. For a place that seems to pride itself on custom, made-to-order treats, the vibe was completely lacking.
