Perfect hash browns, fluffy omelets, bacon: Smokey and delicious. Seriously some the best breakfast food that has ever crossed my palate. Only downside was my teenage son's recalcitrance to photos. Convenient bookstore next door helps pass the time if there is a wait.

Oddly enough, I've never actually been inside this place before. But we've gotten take out here twice and have been really impressed with the quality of their food and service. It seems somewhat difficult to pull off breakfast take out for some places, but not for Double Yolk. They've been super helpful when placing orders and always accommodating of dietary restrictions. And the food itself is always delicious. Someday we'll end up actually eating in-person, but for now we've really enjoyed their take out.

Great place for breakfast or lunch if you are in the area. We stopped here after a trip to the apple orchard. The staff was friendly and the service was pretty quick considering the place was packed on a Sunday for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their meals and none of us were able to finish the portion. It's located in the main square and we took a stroll through shops after lunch. We will definitely stop here again.

My wife and I discovered this diner while at the farmers market in the Woodstock Square. It was fairly busy, but we got seated right away. Our waitress took our drink order. She returned right away with drinks and took our meal order. Before we knew it our breakfast was here. It couldn't have been 5 minutes. It was super fast. My wife and I both ordered the two eggs over easy with bacon, hashbrowns, and rye toast. It's bacon and eggs, how can you go wrong? Everything was cooked the way we liked it, and our glasses were never empty. Our waitress was very nice and took good care of us. We will definitely be back.

First time in Woodstock, this restaurant was so good! Cute atmosphere! The staff and owner was friendly and service was great! I had an omelet with hash browns and it was delicious. My friend had the avocado toast and it was amazing.

Loved our experience at Double Yolk cafe. Service, food & ambience were spot on. During these challenging times we need to have a place to go to that you feel at home. This is your place for great hospitality

Very good breakfast right on Woodstock square. Weekend breakfast is busy so you might have to wait.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon. First off, the staff and service was decent. Our server was nice, but she did seem like she didn't want to be there but did follow up in a timely fashion. The biggest issue was the food. My lady had the Butcher Shop omelet, and I had the Monte Cristo. The food was barely edible. I should have known better than ordering a Monte Cristo in a family restaurant, so maybe that's on me. It tasted like they took the previous day's pre-made French toast, used a dried out unseasoned chicken breast, left over breakfast ham, and what ever cheap Swiss cheese they could find. I took one bite and lost my appetite. I could barely eat half of it. To add insult to injury; The fries were not good either... and they upcharge you for them. They tasted like boiled potatoes. Ketchup could not help them. My lady was less than impressed with her omelet as well. It was basically flavorless Which is difficult with that much meat. Either way, we wont be returning.

Being that I'm Greek myself and my family had many restaurants around Chicago. Recently though, I went in and noticed that they do the what I call "the Covid excuse" of charging a percentage of using a credit card. I understand and get that a lot of these business establishments are doing it. However, 3 Brothers is charging this fee when using a debit card. When I went there today, I saw that sign and I asked the one gentleman who I believe might be the owner if that fee app applies to debit cards. He told me that the cash register/card swipe just does what it does which I know is BS. The lady walked up and asked me if there was an issue and I believe her to perhaps be his wife. I told the both of them that federally it's illegal to charge a percentage when it's a debit card. When I told her that she advised that there's ATM in the corner when I told her I'm not interested and I left. I'm not trying to create any sort of havoc for this family business. However, I don't appreciate as a longtime customer to be taken advantage of. If you look at the Attorney General of Illinois website it'll explain the charging the fee for a debit card is federally illegal. Until this restaurant changes its ways I'm not going there.

The interior of this diner was exceptional...modern, clean and very chic! Saturday night and this place was full of regulars and guests, so they are definitely doing something right here at Three Brothers. Diner food was excellent, service from Alexis was great and the couple that owns the place checked on us a couple of times during dinner--it seems like a rarity to meet the ownership during a visit. Our beverages never went empty, the service staff didn't miss a beat and our bellies were full of great, healthy food. All the salads were cool, crisp and the perfect size. 2 diners ordered the Calf Liver which was so tender--perfectly cooked with bacon and sautéed onions. Our Sizzling Chicken, which was a new entree, was excellent--crispy, cheesy, creamy, and spicy--all served on a sizzling platter. We even had an ice cream Sundae for the birthday fellow---he was so happy. Cakes, pies and ice cream sundaes were top notch. Their Key Lime Pie was sold out but there are plenty of other choices...cheesecake, Tres Leches, Vanilla Berry layer cake...the perfect finishers. Seek this place out...very good dinner cuisine and excellent, attentive serving staff make this a must go. Can't wait to come back for Swedish Pancakes and omelettes soon!

The prices are much higher now, but with inflation, I get it. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the person who took my order. I was greeted kindly at the menu and at the window. If I had to guess, I'd say that it was the owner. I ordered a gyro salad and I was very happy with it overall. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the portion was appropriate for the price. I do wish there was a touch more gyro meat, feta, and seedless olives, but the banana peppers made up for it. I would come back and I highly recommend.

We had my nephew in town and decided we'd go here to break up the monotony a bit and support the M&P chain Unfortunately I ordered a chicken gyro for me and it came w/out any sauce or even a sauce option...which was super frustrating... On top they had a hand written sign on the window as you pick up food saying cookies 3/4.50....well we presumed they'd be standard homemade cookies...not big or anything but fine. So we ordered 2 orders Well we were charged the $9, but only got 2 of the very crappy Otis S cookies. We drove home & saw that we couldn't even get the kids enough cookies...but thought maybe they had the order wrong -- we didn't think we had the receipt...so I was a bit frustrated & we didn't have the time to run back Well I found the receipt and we were charged $9 for 2 (when we should have had 6) cookies. I know it's petty but that in combination with my sandwich being wrong....is a big disappointment. I had some very let down kids (we will all survive) but I can't recommend Beef Village & sadly it'll be several months if not longer before we try to go back....
