Very cute small coffee shop. I love the outdoor seating and in a wonderful location. I enjoy their selection of teas. I had a latte once and it tasted a little different than I'm used to, only to find out later that they only use oat milk as the regular milk and don't offer dairy milk. Both of the people who made my drinks were very friendly and helpful.

cute coffee shop by the water! love their compostable drink containers! interesting way to drink my yummy matcha that I got! not too sweet/ nothing crazy but just about right in taste :)

Taking our coffees Togo! Such a nice and earth friendly cup!

Love this quaint little place! Went multiple times while visiting family. Enjoyed sitting in the garden, and the fact that they served us with actual coffee cups while we stayed and recycled cups when we took Togo. Flavor of their beans is great! They also know how to make a good flat white and not just turn it into a hot milk coffee beverage. Check them out!

Cappuccino, amazing banana bread on a table with a pumpkin centerpiece and flowers. The kind of touches that make it special.

I wandered in yesterday not knowing anything about our spot. I'm now a big fan! Service was awesome. Very friendly. Coffee was solid and the banana bread was homemade and super good. Lots of places to sit. Flowers on the table! There is a reason it's so highly rated. Enjoy.

Stopped here while visiting Portland and staying up the street at the Hyatt. It's a unique small spot near a small garden. The service was great and helpful since we had never been here. We tried the coconut sugar vanilla latte and it was amazing! It was a chilly morning...we ordered hot and to go and they served the coffee in these neat glass containers. I will be back next time I'm in town!

I really enjoyed my experience going here! I love their commitment to sustainability and their coffee is good! Also the vibes are great, the greenhouse vibe was really fun. Staff were also incredibly friendly. I would definitely go here again!

Really cute outside and inside area! The outdoor seating was adorable and we brought our breakfast sandwiches to sit outside with our coffee. I got a honey vanilla latte and it was way too sweet. I would say half sweet next time if I returned. It's tiny inside so it's more of a place to sit outside and relax

A tiny coffeeshop by the waterfront with classics drinks and pastries. They serve their drinks in a glass bottle to minimize waste which is very cool. The inside is small but packed with plants making for a nice little oasis. The Matcha Latte was nice but could be stronger. I do like that it's not sweetened by deafult.

Nice spot to stop while cycling in PDX. We enjoyed the drip coffee selection Our Spot had on offer this morning. Service was fast, friendly and efficient!

What a find on the Convention Place District of Portland! Serve in a skinny mason type jar that you bring back to recycle. My hotel recommended after I asked for LOCAL (not just Starbucks/umbria/stumptown....) No cows milk though so I couldn't get whipped cream on my triple Americano. But the splash of oat milk sufficed. Seek it out!

Charming, tiny coffee spot serving delicious, organic coffee drinks and tea, hot and iced. They have fresh pastries that vary daily - today was green onion and spinach scones. Yum! Inside is painted green with three really cool copper hanging pendant lights ivervthe counter. There are lots of windows to let in the natural light and the garden views. There is a counter bar with seats, and outside, some tables and chairs. Located right next to the South Waterfront Garden, I prefer taking my beverage and snack onto one of the garden benches to enjoy while surrounded by this slice of lushness in the city. Our Spot PDX is all about sustainability. Per the owner, " We are a low impact, plant-based coffee shop located along the waterfront in Portland, Oregon! Our passion is to make amazing coffee and focus on practicing sustainability with our products." Drinks are served in glass containers meant to be used there or returned on your next visit. Customers are encouraged to bring their own mugs for takeaway. Super friendly service, always with a smile. Definitely support this small local business that emphasizes sustainability and good coffee!

Cutest little coffee spot! Spot down the road from the Hyatt hotel I was at. Grabbed a quick scone and coffee to read outside for a bit. Located right on the water and little park area to walk around. Barista very nice too.

I love that they make all the plant milk in house even almond milk. I also love that they don't use plastic! I trust their coffee and ingredients quality and baristas are always so nice to talk to. I'm so grateful to have such a special place for drinks and not having to stress about inflammation (most coffee places use inflammatory milk alternatives that have canola oil and gums; also most coffee has mold and plastic lids/cups will leach into your drink and increase inflammation in your body). Thank you for existing!!!

My friend and I wandered in looking for some coffee and as other reviews note, there really isn't a menu in here? For a second, I couldn't tell if they even made lattes since the only signage noted espresso and drip coffee. My friend grabbed an 8 oz latte an I went with a 12 oz vanilla latte -- came out to $11 total so not too bad, particularly for the quality. It's just one person behind the counter making the drinks, but he displayed a great deal of care between the syrups, latte art, and sneaker decals on top. My drink was perfectly hot, not too sweet, and had a great flavor overall. I would absolutely go back for another latte and to grab some beans as well. This place is small, there's a VERY small amount of limited seating; definitely not a sit and sip your coffee for hours type of spot. Loved the sneakers displayed inside though. Overall, a great neighborhood spot - check it out if you're in the area!

Java Man is the clear winner. open at 7:30am, you don't need to look anywhere else. I'd choose this place over the other bakery and over Il Soleito or whatever it's called - both other breakfast spots directly across the street. Java Man is the clear choice out of these 3, for sure. Matcha isn't a crazy sweet starbucks matcha either, it's earthy and amazing and authentic, but if you want sweet - they've got sweet cream cold foam / other flavors you can add. They make a great coffee, a great matcha, and their tea infusion bar could keep me hydrated all day. i'm going to miss this place when i leave..! don't skimp out on the pastry area either - they've got fresh fruit and fresh baked goodies that are also ALL excellent. so be patient, it's worth the wait for your drink.

Even though the 5 star rating was based on just one review I thought I would give it a try as the all of the drinks coming out while I was thinking about it looked pretty good. The basic 2-shot latte was pretty good. I'm a coffee snob so I save 5 star ratings for places with amazing coffee that really makes coffee a transcendent experience or places with pretty good espresso drinks at places with consistently good service, so I'd probably just give this place 4 1/2 stars on coffee alone. However the atmosphere for a little spot is reallly nice, with interesting books on the shelf on the back wall and real artwork by local artists on the wall. Plus the spot opens up into the lobby of the Hoxton Hotel, which of course has that trendy but classy Hoxton aesthetic. Also a plus, the place has ceramic mugs and cups, but as most folks are getting coffee on the way out, you will get your drink in a paper cup unless you ask. These other factors justify bumping it up to a full 5 stars (especially as Hotel coffee spots frequently suck). Note this is a one person operation, so some patience may be necessary. Hours: At the time of this writing, Yelp had this spot's hours conflated with a similarly named restaurant in the lobby. It's actually open for 7 to 12 every day.

Weird by a Mexican (-owned?) place! I don't know why this young woman had so much hate toward us, we kept wondering if it was because we speak Spanish inside the establishment, or because we hugged each other, or because we asked for pastries which they had none, or because I asked questions about getting a Mocha, which is not on the menu. The business is small inside, only 4 visitors at a time, maybe she got upset that we came in when there were 2 customers already in? It was rainy outside though! Initially, my wife and I were super excited and chatty (in Spanish, our native language) about the opportunity to support this business and waited patiently until it was our turn. We had lots of questions since the menu is vague and limited, compared to any other coffee shop, and there were no pastries on display. The attendant was short and using a rude tone when responding to my wife (As in: "But how do you want it?" in response to "I'd like a latte"). To top it off, she asked us to move to make space for another customer, when we had been already been patient with her and the prior customers, to read the menu, which she had already told me was unavailable. So weird! I didn't tip. We didn't even say "Thanks" upon leaving. Damn you Instagram.
