    Decent coffee. Horrible scone.

Nah! Location is grat, although ofc parking is tough, but that's not their fault. Coffee is quite acidic- their drip. The scone I got is a chewy thing with no taste. Overblown prices! Not my cup of coffee!

The seasonal fig latte is a delicious combo of flavors and just the right amount of sweetness so it doesn't overpower the espresso! Fast service and a great open layout for enjoying your drink.

A gem in NW Portland with great menu items and a legit atmosphere. I absolutely love the days when it's nice enough for the garage door to come up and let the fresh air inside. As an americano lover, I like that they typically offer their standard espresso Spectrum as well as another single origin choice. You literally can't go wrong, either way. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but the coffee and the service are worth the extra effort. You'll be uplifted by the coffee, and invigorated by the hip ambiance.

WHEN: Sun @9am Came here just before it got really busy. I appreciate the lovely menu design of drinks, and what they have to offer. They also have a fridge of non-coffee beverages, and merch that is very well designed (hats, totes, tumblers, teas and coffee beans, etc.) From what it looks like, the pastries they serve here are from Nuvrei, a bakery I find quite fancy and delicious! SEATING: I love all the options of seating here: + Outside there is a long counter with stools where the trees will provide shading depending on the time of the day. + Inside towards the front are booth seatings. + Inside towards the back where the booth seatings help provide a bit of privacy from neighboring seats. RESTROOM: Because it's in a shared space with other businesses, the clean restroom is through the back door on the other side of the elevator/stairs. The code to get in is 9813. WI-FI: The wi-fi (Good Coffee Guest) here is not great so be prepared to hot-spot it! So here's what I had: PEAR CARDAMOM LATTE - $7 (16oz) Espresso, Milk, and a reduction made from fresh NW pear and cardamom. Garnished with a. Bergamot mist. It was only $1 more for double the size, which is why I went for the 16oz, haha. To be honest I don't taste the pear maybe because of the cardamom. Overall it's still a yummy drink and I really enjoyed it! CROISSANT - $6 Decent croissant. Pretty pricey though. I love the huge opening entrance since it's a garage door. But they do close it since they have the AC on, and it's getting warmer out. All in all, I love the vibe here, and how this cafe is decorated with plants. The layout is practical, with the huge open spaced with tall back rest of the booths, which as mentioned provided kind of a private separation from other customers. This spot has easily become a favorite to work out of.

If there weren't any seats inside, it seemed like there were overflow seats in the shared lobby area (that has outlets!). It does get pretty loud inside on weekends so keep that in mind if you want to get some work done. Coffee was great and not too sweet - they were busy but drinks came out fast. I love my niche coffee shops and seeing all the merch they have out.

We typically stick to our usual drinks, but this time we ventured out and tried their Cold Brew and Smoked Cardamom Assam Latte, which had been highly recommended. We're so glad we did. The Smoked Cardamom Assam Latte was a unique and delightful surprise, and we finished it quickly. It was not "too out there," and was actually quite refreshing and tasty. The flavoring was light. Their Cold Brew was outstanding, offering a clear and clean taste. This coffee shop easily ranks among the best we've tried in the area. I only wish they had a presence in Southern California too, so we could enjoy their exceptional offerings more often. If you're in Portland, don't miss the chance to visit this coffee shop. You won't be disappointed.

great coffee & pastries! would recommend for those aspects. i love the area outside the shop for sitting on the nice day and reading a book. not the greatest place to sit down to catch up with a friend. not a ton of indoor seating but enough to make do!

Lavender matcha w/ 2% and iced latte 2% milk ($5.50 each) my friend helped me with the pic!

I was craving coffee and found this place, with 20 more minutes before closing. Environment: spacious, lots of shapes and the colors are modern and stylish. They have lots of other merch around the side (their own ground coffee, cups, and chocolates). Staff: She was friendly and waited patiently for us as we decided what to eat. She also kindly answered our questions. Drink: I got an iced latte with 2% milk. It was not as strong as other brands but it was very refreshing, lighting, and smooth. I enjoyed it. The price was $5.50 which is a tad more than other coffee shops but that area seems fancier, too so I guess everything costs more there. Anyways, she let us stay until it was time for closing 4pm and thanked us before we left. It was a nice place to hang out and chill and you can also sit outside on a nice day!

    Horchata latte

I am a huge fan of their seasonal Horchata latte. It has been my summer favorite for the last few years. Good coffee is very aesthetic and consistent. Sometimes there is a line and the wait is a little long. The staff is very friendly and they are very well treated. It is very expensive at $7 for a latte with no modifications. I don't come often for this reason unless I have a very intense craving. There isn't a ton of street parking if you come after 8am fyi. The space is very clean and spacious with lots of light. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor.

It's a lovely summer day , they have great space to sit outside - the staff are very friendly and will painstakingly explain all their out of the ordinary lattes The cappuccino is exceptional From the moment I took my first sip, I was overwhelmed by the rich aroma and velvety smoothness of the drink A perfectly balanced combination of espresso, steamed milk, and frothy foam was a work of art in itself Ok I might gotten a little carried away but ya feel me

Phenomenal café! I loved the vast selections the café offers. Quiet place to study, and distress. Spent a few hours organizing my Spring and Summer schedule. I assure you will feel comfortable and content. Thank you

Walking into Kaleido, the first thing that caught my eye was the warm orange and green color…read morepalette, which is carried throughout their logo, seating, and interior. The space feels cozy, welcoming, and full of personality. I especially loved the little post-it wall where customers can leave behind anything they want a small detail that makes the café feel even more personal and community-driven. What I ordered: Soft Cream Matcha One of the creamiest matchas I've ever had! The soft cream was incredibly fluffy and smooth, while the matcha itself was bold enough to come through with every sip and also had a coconuty essence to it. It had just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. If you love a rich, creamy matcha, this is definitely one to try. Es-Yen A classic Thai-style iced coffee made with condensed milk. This was strong, sweet, and definitely had that much-needed wake-me-up effect! The condensed milk gave it a creamy sweetness while still allowing the bold coffee flavor to shine through. It was the perfect balance of sweet and strong exactly what I needed. Buttered & Sweetened Condensed Milk Toast I originally had my eye on the pandan toast, but it's clearly a popular choice because it was already sold out earlier in the day! So I went with the buttered and sweetened condensed milk toast instead, and I'm so glad I did. The toast was crispy on the outside, buttery, warm, and finished with that sweet condensed milk flavor. Every bite practically melted in my mouth. The pandan toast is definitely on my list for next time! My Portland experience was made even better by my stop at Kaleido Coffee. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, taking the time to give me recommendations and making sure everyone was taken care of even during a busy rush. Until next time, Portland!
