You can access it near the water. You cannot easily park at the resort to come over however, you can walk over from EPCOT or take the Skyliner from Studios. This location has both a quick service side with food and drinks to go as well as a full bar with seats and ability to also order food to go. If you are staying at the resorts and sitting by the pool, they also offer a server who walks around and takes your order. Their menu is pretty good, there are a lot of options for varying likes and dislikes. Their menu includes selections of sandwiches, a burger, seafood roll, chicken tenders, salads and loaded crab fries. I was actually impressed with the menu. They also offered one of the special tossed chicken tenders that Disney announced awhile ago. My wife and I stayed at the resort so we first ordered from the bar then ended up ordering from the server as we sat around the pool. To start we ordered the "Hanna's Bacon Angus Cheeseburger" which was a classic burger served on a Brioche Bun and came with French Fries. This was the classic Disney burger, if you have had one, then this was it. The bun was really nice being a brioche bun, the burger was cooked more well done but it was still really good and topped with cheese and bacon. It actually was great for sitting by the pool. It is by far not my favorite burger at Disney but by the pool, it was just right! We also ended up ordering the buffalo ranch chicken strips. These were also served with fries and were so crispy and really good. My wife and I are both buffalo fans and even though I am not a ranch person, the ratio was really good and it made these tender delicious. It was so much better than just a plain dry tender. I do hope Disney keeps these special coated chicken tenders around property! I stuck with beer while at the pool, I felt it fit better but wife did try a cocktail. She ordered the "Banana Cabana" which she has had at other pool bars in Disney. It has Cruzan Mango Rum, Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Bols Crème de Banana, Orange Juice and Pineapple Juice with a float of Grenadine. She enjoys it, it's a great summer/pool/beach cocktail. Overall this is a actually a really nice pool bar. I can see my wife and I coming here in the summer when we want to get away from the park for a quick lunch. Its so hot in the summer and the bar is covered, in the shade and has fans. This was a great spot. I would highly recommend checking them out. ACES!

My friend got the slushy premade margarita and she mentioned it was hard to drink. Tasty but the icee made it hard to drink. We sat on the dock side and heard and saw a back/side view of the band playing from across the way. We had a great view of the volcanos erupting from the restaurant across the way. It was great weather making it a great night for margaritas on the dock. The price came out around $20 per drink. I took a star off because the bartender wasn't friendly. When asked what's the most popular margaritas her answer was "they are all good" she seemed upset because we didn't know what wanted and had questions.

~ Skyliner Bar Crawl - Part 1 ~…read more For my wife's birthday in March, we decided to revamp our Skyliner Bar Crawl and it was a great success! In this series of reviews, I will review all the bars we visited on our crawl. I will provide my opinion of each of our stops and give tips for anyone who wants to build their own Skyliner Bar Crawl! The Skyliner is my favorite attraction at Disney and this is my ideal Disney day. Location: Technically there are two locations at the "start" of the Skyliner (Hourglass Lake). We recommend starting at either Petals Pool Bar or its Art of Animation sister, The Drop Off. It's up to you which you prefer, as they have identical menus. This time we chose to start at Petals. It's a standard pool bar with standard poolside drink options. The staff is friendly and it's close to the lobby of Pop Century in case you need to cool off in the A/C for a minute. Petals opens at 11am, but since some of the later stops on the crawl don't open until the evening we usually start between 1pm and 2pm. Drinks: Like I said, the drinks are pretty standard here. Basic tropical cocktails, wine, sangria, and beer are all available here. I can't get excited about most of these drinks, but if I were spending a day by the pool this would do just fine. Food: The food is the most lacking aspect of Petals for me. We deliberately chose bars that also have food for every stop of our crawl, but Petals doesn't have much to offer in this respect. They have basic sandwiches, soft pretzels, bags of chips, and ice cream. I would recommend skipping the food here and waiting for the next stop.

It is outside and does have a few tables around the bar area but outside the pool area. If you are not staying you cannot sit by the pool. They also have seating at the bar. This was our second stop on our Skyliner Crawl. Their menu is not huge, they have a full bar with most liquors. They also have a very limited selection of food items, mostly snacks like pretzels, ice cream and a couple of sandwiches. They also have some specialty drinks. We chose the specialty drinks since we were doing the crawl. I went with the Hula Hoop which had coconut rum, melon and banana liqueurs, grenadine and pineapple juice. It was really good, I really enjoyed its. It was light, not too heavy alcohol taste and had a great sweetness to it. It was not heavily sweet, I felt it was a great drink for those that don't want to taste the alcohol. My husband ordered the bourbon breeze, which had cranberry, bourbon, lime, pomegranate juice and ginger beer. He really enjoyed it. It was definitely a stronger drink, but it was good. Our friends ordered very similar drinks as us and they enjoyed both of them as well. They also have beer and wine, but I feel a nice mixed drink on a hot day really hits the spot. We also ordered one of their giant pretzels with came with the classic Disney fake cheese. Who knows what it is actually made of but it was good and hit the spot. I will say pay attention, some of the drinks come with a glow cube and they will charge you $2 more for that drink. If you don't want the glow cube, it's the same price but you get a tad bit more of the drink. The bartenders were really great as well. They were fast, efficient, let us decide what we wanted and offered suggestions. It was really great cast member interaction and a great start. I would highly recommend the Skyliner crawl (hitting all bars attached to a resort on the Skyliner) and I think this is a great stop. Even if you wanted to go over to a resort to get away from the parks, this would be a great one. Jump on the Skyliner and head over. Grab a drink and enjoy the Florida weather. Pro Tip- go to the left of the bar and you can get cups of water and ice if you want. Fill up your cup when your drink is finished and get some water, walk to your next resort!

I know they need to cook for all tastes, but some seasoning would have been nice.

I checked the hours online before I walked over. It said it opened at 10 and I got there around 12, and it was closed. No signs, no employees, nothing. There was a courtesy phone on the wall, which nobody answered. I finally found an employee, who said she thinks they're opening late today because it's cold. It was a little frustrating because there was no sign or anything, and I only had a limited amount of time for lunch. When they finally did open, I got the southern crunch quesadilla, which sounded good because you don't see a quesadilla with fried chicken often. It was really good! You order at the counter and they give you a pager for when your food is ready. Overall I liked the food and you can't beat the atmosphere. I just wish it was more reliable.

Beaches adult menu options include: chicken Caesar salad, portobello mushroom sandwich, crab cake sandwich, lobster sliders, artisanal burgers, chicken nuggets, and chili cheese hot dogs. Their vibe is dark, nautical, it matches the resorts. Everything is navy blue, its pretty dark inside, but they do have a few TVs. My wife and I prefer to come here when we stay at the Yacht Club or the Beach club but we have visited a few times just to get away from the park. We also stop here when we like to do the Yacht and Beach crawl. If you are not staying here you will need to figure out a different way to access the resort. They offer a small selection of food, mostly which are appetizers, but there are a couple of items you could order as a meal. Last time we were here we did see a few people order food to go probably back to their room. Something my wife and I always have to order is the Parker House Rolls and Spreads which has three spreads and 5 rolls. The spreads include Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter. These are so good and actually one time we stayed we ordered these every single night, they are that good. The spreads are great on their own but even better when you mix them. I would prefer the rolls to be hot but they are still great. We also ordered the Truffle Fries served with with Roasted Shallot Mayo and the meatballs which has a porcini and parmesan cream sauce, pickled mushrooms, and chive oil. Both are really delicious and easy to share or even have both as your meal. The last thing we ordered was the flatbread. They have a seasonal flatbread which was French onion soup but we found out they also offer just a pepperoni flatbread which is not on the menu. This was a great flatbread, really cheesy, great flavor, not too heavy on the pepperoni but really good overall. For drinks I really prefer to get order off the menu and get either a dirty martini or a Manhattan. They have a full bar and can do most drinks. My wife loves their wine particularly the Dr. Loosen, Dr. L. Riesling which she finds around Disney. She also enjoys a good lemon drop martini. Overall this is a great stop, it is one of my favorite lounges. It is comfy, dark, not super loud, they have great food options and great drinks. I would say stop by when you can and check it out! ACES!

Great location in the Yacht Club lobby, we visit here on all of our YC stays…read more During our most recent visit, service was disappointing. We were seated for 10+ minutes with no greeting and when a waiter finally appeared he ignored us and went to a different table that was seated after us. We were trying to get a drink and app before our room was ready but thankfully after the miss in service, I got a text that our room was ready so we just left. Anyway, usually good place to get a drink but maybe next time we will just sit at the bar.
