Staff is amazing. There's a strong Latin influence which amazes and delights me because I love practicing Spanish. There is a sense of merriment and festivity at all levels. The facility is immaculate and the meals are you delicious. And it seems like anything you want you can get. Personally I want good and plenty with this candies but that's probably a bridge too far. I recommend these guys.

They don't answer their phone. We are desperate to find out what is happening with our mother. This is beyond unacceptable.

This place is a blessing, especially with their new administrator in place.

In January 2026, my 83-year-old mother underwent hip replacement surgery at Providence Little…read moreCompany of Mary. The procedure itself was a success. She was prescribed Norco and Gabapentin to manage post-surgical pain, which left her in a weakened state, and she was discharged to a rehabilitation facility of our choosing. After touring several facilities from Providence's recommended list, we selected Beachside Post Acute. We chose Beachside because we needed a facility that specializes in both physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT). It's a cozy, thoughtfully designed property in a breezy part of Torrance, conveniently located near both Walgreens and CVS. The building appears to have been a converted motor lodge, with a single-level layout that wraps around a central outdoor courtyard. This design allows each room to have either a window or sliding glass door, providing natural light and fresh air--something we found especially valuable. The PT staff have access to a dedicated room with specialized equipment, and both the main corridor and courtyard are used for assisted therapy sessions. There's also a recreation room and dining area where patients can enjoy meals outside their rooms, offering a welcome change of scenery. The kitchen serves nutritious, genuinely tasty meals--I can personally attest to that. What truly sets Beachside apart is the staff. They are compassionate, attentive, and clearly take pride in their work. To those who may read this--Susan, Marisol, Julius, Eva, Kimberly, Bryan, Alyssa, and everyone else--thank you. You made a difficult experience far more manageable, and we are deeply grateful.

This place is like an asylum, not a nursing home, the nurses are loud and obnoxious, they make fun…read moreof people in there language, the so called healthy food is the most disgusting food I've ever eaten, so I ended up buying protein shakes next door, that I lived on for a year, along with candy..I gained 30 pounds in this dump. I chose this nursing home because it was near my mom, I wish I had chosen differently, and as much as I appreciated the little stuff they did for me..it was all about the money..and my cliset door fell off twice, second time almost sliced off one of my toes, I had to get 9 stitches in my toe, so as much as they say they are about keeping people safe there, people still fall out of bed and out of their wheelchairs, so I still need them to compensate me for this injury, that bothers me now everytime I walk..and for my laundry I lost, for losing my hearing, etc... the nurse got mad at me occassionally and talk to me like I'm a idiot, and I'm a eduacated woman, this place can cause you to go insane, if you're already insane when you arrive, I had to guard my mind like my life depended on it. But many of the people brought in have severe dementia or alzheimers .I walked into my room once and the person next to me was wearing one of my shirts, they did take it off her immediately...but it means that the nurses went and took it out of my closet. I was there for about 14 months and two weeks before I left they finally put a mirror up in the bathroom for me. And they also said they would put a lock on my closet door, which they never did. And I think some of the nurses have sticky fingers..it was a nightmare trying to heal my body from surgery and broken bones in this dump...and one time the housekeepers sprayed some sort of bug spray or something in my room, I had to jump out of the room and I gasped in the hallway in my wheelchair for 4 hours...this place actually made me sicker then I already was..I don't know why they have a five star rating...
