The Swiss Cheese melted on top was fantastic. Decent portions of lobster and crab and it blended well with the spinach and tomato inside the omelette. Hash browns were tasty too. Was craving a mean breakfast burrito today so I decided to try out The Egg House. I usually try to always get steak burritos, but it wasn't an option on their menu. Whats really nice of them is that I asked them if I could get a steak burrito and that I'd be willing to pay extra. They luckily took my order, still to no extra charge, which was really nice of them :) the burrito was great! It was super tasty, good amount of cheese, and steak was all freshly cooked! I'm really happy with the breakfast burrito here, classic 'so simple, it's so good' kind of meals! The workers here were also all so nice to me and served us with a smile throughout the whole time. Came here after a Dr appointment and was very impressed with the spot. When I see chorizo and eggs I always try it from restaurants. I will say this out of all the breakfast spots that serve this dish I was giving this place the best taste for chorizo and eggs. It reminded me of my moms. We came early (8ish) on a Saturday morning with all 4 of our young kids. It wasn't too busy till we we're leaving around 9:30. We couldn't find kids menus but if you ask the waiter they'll tell you what the options are. We got pancakes with a side of fruit and when the waiter saw that the younger ones were having trouble sharing they brought out extra fruit, which I really appreciated. The food was very good and the portions are HUGE. I ordered an omelette and my husband ordered cinnamon roll French toast. My omelette came with potatoes and toast so I definitely couldn't finish everything. The kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes. Would definitely go back again. read more

This place is cute and what I thought were small town vibes, but I was highly disappointed with my food. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel and a fruit cup. I was given a Costco cinnamon raisin bagel and was charged around $6 for it. Which is crazy considering you can get 12 bagels for $8 at Costco literally right now. So I was not happy when Costcos product came out and there was simply nothing to it other than the smuckers jam containers that are left out on the tables.... The fruit? No problems but it's a tad expensive for me. My group enjoyed their meals nonetheless so I can't complain on that front. This place isn't bad, but changes need to be made. It was a nice time, but I'd rather frequent places like Eggs n Things or Beeps to name a couple. Thanks! Edit: Hey David, thanks for the response. It's a difference of opinion and that's okay. But yeah, it is a tough review for a bagel and fruit cup, because of how expensive it is. And also it's frustrating when businesses respond in this type of manner. I've tried this place two times now. First time I got an omelette with hash browns. Omelette was good but hash browns were soft, a little too much oil or grease not sure exactly. So I decided to try it again, I got the eggs Benedict, it did lack flavor and not much sauce on it, the bread that was on tasted so burnt, I don't like the taste of burnt bread so I just ate the egg and bacon that came with it. The hash browns however did come out better. I think I would try this place one more time to get another experience before I say I'll never go there again. read more

Did some searching around to see what my wife and I would like for our breakfast date and this place came up so we decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. First, they did a great job setting up the outside dining for us customers; it's cute, quaint, and nice and shady! Secondly, these people hustle and make sure the customers are taken care of. Their attention is just right, not too overly attentive where they big you every 2 minutes nor are they under attentive where they disappear until it's time to give you the check; just the right amount to fill up your offer and see if you need anything so you can enjoy your meal. Speaking of which, the food portions are HUGE, and all the flavors are amazing! My wife had the Monte Cristo with O'Brian potatoes and she mentioned it was phenomenal. I had the John Wayne and holy crap was this a monster of a dish! See the pic below. The only thing that I recommend is improved is the coffee. My wife and I like a nice robust flavor and the coffee is a bit weak and light for our taste, but all in all everything is fantastic. Highly recommend and we will be back! read more

Solid 4 star! We came here this past week really only because of the great reviews on Yelp so way to go Yelpers! I hope I am not offending the owners but I would consider this place a little bit of a whole in the wall location but really doesn't matter because they really delivered on everything else. Each person in our party got different items like pancakes and sausage, omelets, a scramble and Huevos Rancheros...each person absolutely loved their breakfast and based on the cleanliness of the plates afterwards I would say it was a success. My omelet had Italian sausage, mixed bell peppers and onions with cheese, side of sliced tomatoes instead of hash browns and sourdough toast. First not only was the omelette delicious but the sourdough bread might be one of the best I have ever tasted. It was so light and airy and tasted so fresh. Plus the freshness of the overall meal was truly outstanding. The service at times is as a little clunky but in the end they did a great job and everyone had a smile on their faces. There is nothing wrong with The Egg House. We did not have a bad experience in any way. We just eat out A LOT and compared to other meals we've had, it was Pretty Good across the board. We tried: Machaca, Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, New York Steak and Eggs and the Complimentary Coffee Cake. The only thing negative we had to say was that the breakfast potatos were Just Okay. Beyond that, the food was good but not memorable. If you are local to this restaurant, then it is probably a decent breakfast stop. We are not local though and there is nothing that would bring us back out here. read more

Came here with my best friend on Sept 23rd to enjoy a new (to us) breakfast spot only to have terrible service by an older blonde waitress with glasses who got snappy with any question I asked we also never got checked on until the end of our meal when we finally were done we got refills and straws.After we got our check we went to pay and she made awkward small talk where she told us she was feeling sick from food she ate the previous day ..... to my knowledge if you're sick or possibly have food poisoning you should not be working with food let alone serving people. read more

A great local place for breakfast or lunch. Worth the wait if they're busy on a weekend. They have amazing multigrain pancakes, eggs Benedict, and many other options. For lunch, the club sandwich is great and they make a great homemade ranch! The servers and other staff are friendly and attentive. The place is always clean and the owner is very kind as well. This review is more about management and lack of management at this place. The food is average I have eaten there before. Today when my food arrived I wanted to put a little Tabasco on my eggs. I made sure the lid was tight before I gave it a little shake. Lid was on secure . I give it a shake and the bottom of the glass jar fell off, spilling the hole contents of Tabasco all over me and all over my food. I flagged down the waiter for more napkins and he was very apologetic and brought me napkins and a wet towel. I turned the wet towel away because I was drenched in the stuff. I tried to eat my meal but it was so covered in Tabasco I couldn't. I decided it was time to go, we went to the front to pay our bill and when I told the gentleman we were paying separately he seemed annoyed. I felt like really Mr. Cashier you are annoyed ???? Have you looked at me???? So this is my major problem with this place. In a ordinary situation like this management should have approached me and showed some sort of appeasement, that is if the server can't do anything. So I paid $18+tip ( because I am not an asshole it wasn't the servers fault) to eat nothing and have my clothes ruined.
