This place is tucked away maybe a minute from Highway 50 on Kingsbury grade. They have a plethora of breakfast and veggies options, with a good selection of bagels. They have matcha, seasonal latte options, different cream cheese flavors, and a decent selection of juice, sodas, and tea. I came in HUNGRY and tried the Goombah sando with added turkey. It was crispy, delicious, and HOT. Oh my. Basically, a glorified caprese salad on a bagel. It was oily, messy, and wonderful. I got help ordering from Shannon, and she was a great help! The seating area is a tad limited for the lunch time rush I was here for. They have a couple couches in the middle that are nice and cozy, and a mix of tables that can fit 2 up to 6 people. It seems to have a good flow, but I wonder if there's a different or better way to accommodate more people to dine in. It seemed like most to half the people that came in got their orders to go, and had there been room to accommodate them, if they would have stayed. Overall, a friendly and high energy place that makes bomb bagel sandos. I wish this was closer to my stomping grounds in Reno, so it makes a special trip worth it to the Tahoe Bagel Co!

Soooo delicious! Unfortunately the other bagel we got kinda missed what could have been amazing the added avocado was extremely hard and I just had to take it out. I was really bummed because the little bit of smashed avocado was great.! This spot is definitely a stop you need to make. The coffee also smelled amazing!

Not only was the food excellent, but the service is what put them over the top. This restaurant was minutes away from our hotel so location wise, Bruschetta is in prime location if you are staying in or around South Lake Tahoe. Parking was relatively easy And our meal while having a few honest mistakes was remedied by our waiter Sean which made the meal truly 5 stars. There were a few mishaps with our order but we enjoyed what came out regardless, and the fact Sean did his best to remedy the situation despite the kitchen being closed at that point caused me to rank Bruschetta a bonafide 5 star Italian restaurant. Ambiance is very classy and feels authentic to what an Italian restaurant should be. Here's what we ordered: Roasted Cherry and Plum Bruschetta, Fried Calamari, Brussel Sprouts, Shrimp Caldo, 20 Layer Lasagna, Spaghetti and meatballs, and spicy Linguini and clams. To drink: an old fashioned, Peach cocktail, blueberry cocktail, and glass of red wine. Somehow, maybe due to it being later in the evening, they forgot to bring us our Shrimp Caldo, Brussel Sprouts, and red wine. We may have been the last customers, but we realized our entire order was not brought out so we mentioned it to our waiter to which he sincerely apologized and made right the best he could. Instead of getting defensive or making excuses, our waiter Sean took action and quickly resolved any issues which speaks volumes not only for him as a person but for the restaurant as a whole. We ended up ordering dessert after: tiramisu And vanilla gelato. Both were excellent and tipped generously. Bruschetta is a solid 5 star Italian restaurant in Lake Tahoe And I give a hearty thanks to the ownership, chefs, and especially Sean for serving us a wonderful Italian feast!

Inside was very modern and flowy. Good natural lighting. The food was fantastic. One of the best bruschetta I had in my life. Definitely coming back for that alone next time I'm in Tahoe. We also order the 20 layered lasagna and it was delicious. We also ordered Chicken & waffles. The chicken & waffles were good but nothing to crazy about. Definitely the bruschetta and lasagna stole the show. Ended the meal with their tiramisu cake because you always have room for a sweet treat! Overall I give this restaurant a solid 4/5 star review. I'm glad I tried it and will definitely be coming back!

Fries are perfect if you love the skinny crispy type of fries like me. (10/10 For my son chicken tenders is his go too. The food was pretty solid overall. We ordered the Cajun shrimp salad, Tavern burger, buffalo cauliflower, and fish and chips. I'm giving 4 stars mainly because the buffalo cauliflower didn't actually taste like buffalo -- it leaned more toward a curry-style spice. It was still good, just not what we were expecting. The fish and chips came with deep-fried salmon, which unfortunately was a bit dry. On the bright side, the fries were SO good -- they tasted like they were fried in beef tallow and reminded us of McDonald's fries in the best way. Overall, a good spot with a nice atmosphere, and I'd definitely be open to trying other items on the menu next time!

There's seating for about 20, my sense is it's mostly carry out. I had two, a Hammer and a Beef. Both were excellent. They were served with 3 sauces of varying spiciness that added to the fun. Find a table and they will bring you the food. They offer soups and salads, some appetizers, and Sandwiches. But they specialize in Empanadas. You can choose your fillings of meat or veggies. One empanada was good enough for me for some you might want two (for a meal). I love the sauces they serve as well, my personal favorite was the Chimichurri (which consisted of Fresh Chopped Parsley, Olive Oil, White Vinegar, Lemon Juice, Garlic, and Lots of Spices). I loved it! Last but not least they are not stingy with the fillings of the Empanadas. I had the ground beef, it was so juicy and hot (temp wise). Oh, the Empanadas are so cute, they put the Eid own little stamp on it. And each one is labeled with the type of protein you ordered (see photos). In this cafe, you can play board games while you wait for your food. They even have books and toys and all kinds of things to entertain yourself with. I feel like this place is a good spot to hang out for families with kids. Note: did I mention the owners of the place were so nice and friendly? Thank you so much!!!
