I lived at the Estates for 2 years in a 1 bedroom apartment. Pros - Central location and within a 5 minute drive of Bart, grocery stores, parks, and restaurants - Open layout living room and hardwood is nice - Maintenance team is responsive and usually fix issues within a few days - Plenty of parking Cons - The shared outdoor community is dirty. There is mud, trash, and dog poop everywhere. I tend to leave for work in early morning and I would often come across aggressive Raccoons digging through the trash. - The community is loud and you will also often here loud party music, loud cars, and sirens late at night - The apartment is expensive for the amount of square footage you get. I was paying about $3250 a month for a 1 bedroom + the apartment water, trash, and sewage free. Equivalent 1 bedroom layouts could be found in many places less then $3K, which is why it seems overpriced. Overall 3/5, the apartment layout is good, is in a central location, and is always in working condition with the maintenance team. However, the unpleasant shared community and overprice rent leaves a lot to desire. I would not rent again here, but if you really like the apartment interior and you don't' mind the price then I would recommend you rent here. read more

This place seems to be going downhill with it's customer service for the Leasing Office staff. Most have been great so far but I just received a call from one member for the first time for the simplest of things. What could have been a, "Hey please go get your mail", which would have resulted in me apologizing and doing that, was instead delivered as a threat. Go do this or else this is going to happen. It's like we skipped right past an argument that never even happened. When I questioned this they just brushed me off like I'm wasting their time, no apology, no trying to smooth things out. It's a shame because it's another nice place that will follow the trend of being hated due to bad agents which we see so often in these reviews lately. I have been living here for the past three years and my experience has been pleasant. The staff at this apartment community is really professional and always ready to help you out. I specially had a really good experience working with Sonia from the leasing office who always attended my maintenance request and made sure that they are the top priority if they hinder my daily life. She is very hospitable and understands customer service and will bend over backwards to make sure you have been taken care of as a resident. Really great property. From location to the service. Getting set up with one of the managers Armin was a breeze. Someone I'd refer too directly to work with. Any questions I have or concerns he's always helped out. He's be excellent working with him. As per the maintenance they do a great job at accommodating routine maintenance and emergencies. One of the maintenance workers Anthony came and rescued us when we were out of heat during the New Year's Day. While they put their best feet forward, once the varnish comes off and you discover what is underneath, it's too late. You're already locked into a place that is far too expensive, but at least it's upper management is duplicitous, dishonest, and unwilling to resolve residential issues in a responsible and professional fashion. Once you're in you'll discover a community of people that is nice enough, and even some very cool employees who too often have their hands tied. The "heated pool" won't actually be heated all year round, as they first pitched it. The hard to find, pet friendly complex, not only allows pets, but also does nothing to detour dog owners from leaving dog poo everywhere. Their monthly billing is difficult to track so that it is hard to see errors that are made. But when you find them, it is even more challenging to have them corrected. The complex is less than a block away from where a murder took place in broad daylight, and a burgeoning tent city is developing to compete with Los Angeles' skid row. The veneer is thin, and right underneath it you find disappointment and grunge. Don't get stuck signing a lease here. Take you chances elsewhere. read more

So time to update this review with yet another incident. Yes. I'll make this short and sweet. MOLD in the walls we were living and breathing in. UNHEALTHY UNSANITARY & worst of all, how they handled it? $250 reimbursement. LOL!!! Lucky our lawyers weren't involved I don't want to waste my time nor energy any long on this "business". We come from hospitality industry ourselves and unforeseen circumstances ALWAYS arise it's how you handle it that makes or breaks you. Since new management took over it's gone downhill. It's sad because Cherrish is so kind and understanding anyone would be lucky to hire her! New manager arrived and at first she was really nice but then this happened and wasn't as understanding as we first thought. Even though we were living and breathing mold, they put a giant machine in our room that had dust everywhere for 6 DAYS! Didn't offer a hotel or another apartment nothing. I'm so so so sad and not to mention my allergies ( like an actual allergic reaction) the entire week was HORRIBLE! Nothing compensated. See attached for my suits and clothes that she said "just put them in the washer" LOL!!!! Mold. In a washer. Suits. In a washer. Not even offer dry cleaning? $5 of dry cleaning is going to ruin your business but better than ruining a guests stay and review of your business. Not to mention the washer and dryer BURNED our clothes (cotton on regular settings) and a neighbor saw them replace our dryer and washer AFTER we moved out. LOL!! What a joke!! Bye. read more

Been staying in estates for more than year , though the rates went high , Jessica ( Property Manager) was very helpful in terms waiving off move out charges to the new unit within the community as we wanted to stay within the same community. She's very welcoming and happy to help whenever I approached her with a maintenance issue or anything else with our stay in here. I hope Estate At Park Place management can really work through a better price for the existing residents, especially when the same units are posted for much lesser rate in the market for external customer. She's allowed me to tour multiple properties so that I could really get a good understanding and feel of how Estates is, given me lots of information like photos and videos and continuously answers all my questions through emails and phone calls. We're coming up on our 2nd year here at Estates and we really enjoyed living here. It's our first residence in CA since moving from Las Vegas. Leasing staff: marina and all the girls in there are awesome! Marina was one of the main reasons we chose this complex. She's very knowledgeable of the area The grounds amenities: great! Pool, gym, bbq Area, the grounds are always maintained and clean. Great job to the team who does the Maintenance and gardening Parking: never had a problem finding parking. There are a couple lots in the back that's enough for overflow Our apartment: we lucked out with a good unit in a well located building by the middle big green grass area. 3rd floor has high ceilings and I liked our floor plan and upgrades (stainless steel appliances, granite(?) countertops, white cabinets with new hardware, etc.). Cons -Noticed a few apartments that seem overcrowded, I swear the apartment below me has like 10 ppl -Rent increases: this is expected but sucks anyway hence why we are going to move -stairs and common walking areas of the buildings: get dirty and stained and should be cleaned more often (I think I've noticed maybe an annual clean... maybe make its quarterly?) Anyhoo, I hope our next apartments will be as great as Estates but a little more affordable for my family. I'm not looking forward to the hunt read more

This review is for the maintenance team. Any time we have a maintenance request they are on top of things. Anthony always hit's it out of the park when he comes to our unit and provides a fast and timely service. The last visit he was able to diagnose an issue we had with our stove and he got it fixed on the spot, we didn't even have to wait on parts or anything because he came prepared. On a different visit our microwave went bad and within minutes he came back with a brand new microwave. read more

Lived here for 3 years. Don't waste your money. Pros: + Good location. + Beautiful grounds, well kept, maintained, and trimmed. Beautiful lawn to lounge and play on, as long as you don't mind that pets poop and pee on it. + Recently remodeled apartments. + Ample parking spaces for residents and guests. + Excellent maintenance staff who are quick to respond to requests and courteous and friendly. Cons: - Over-priced with rent raised every year, no exceptions. During pre-COVID times, they will try to raise rents 5-7% unless you argue them down. This is on top of rents that are already higher than other comparable properties in the area, by at least a few hundred dollars. During COVID times? They raised rents by 2-3%, at a time when many folks are struggling. They offer financial "assistance", but largely, if you cannot pay, you move out (and many folks have). If you are late by 1 day, you get a late fee, and they only give you 2 days grace period to pay rent. If your employer is late in paying you, you better dig into your savings. - Security deposit? Don't expect to see it back. They charged $110 for carpet cleaning for a tiny patch of grey carpet that was not in any of my move-out photos. They also wanted to charge $220 for apartment cleaning because of a few barely noticeable grease spots on the kitchen wall (I had to squint at their photos), BUGS in the LIGHT FIXTURES 9 feet into the ceiling (I kid you not), and leaves on the balcony. Their lease agreement stated the fees are charged only in excess of normal wear and tear, and their move-out email only asked you to "[t]ake out the trash, sweep the floors, vacuum the carpet, wipe down the bathroom / kitchen surfaces and thoroughly clean all appliances." So they claimed it was for damages to the apartment (1 scuff mark on the bathtub and 1 small "stain" on the kitchen counter). Then they offered to split the cost of the cleaning fee. Have I seen that refund? Nope. - Water bill shared among residents. This is regardless your own water usage. You will be charged the same as someone who lives there 24/7 and uses a lot of water. This comes out to roughly $70 per resident per month (so imagine the bill for a family of 4). - Horrible sound proofing. Neighbors' TV on in the other room? You'll hear it. Neighbors talking? Yup. Loud stereo in a car at night? You'll hear it on the third floor. Neighbors moaning (not even screaming) while having sex? Absolutely. The front doors are heavy and slam shut by themselves, so you'll hear that at all hours too. - Trash and broken glass. Residents essentially leave their trash in the hallways at all times for trash services, which attracts insects and wild animals. The management team only sends out a notice asking residents to stop, but they do not enforce. The maintenance staff also throws the trash from second and third floors to the bottom floor, meaning there are broken glass, nails, and other sharp objects in parts of the grounds, some buried into the dirt and can be easily stepped on. - Dog poop. Mushrooms. Fleas. I have found fleas on my dog on at least 4 separate occasions. Irresponsible pet owners also left dog poop all over the grounds, and management team issues warnings that are never enforced. I emailed the management team about mushrooms on the grounds and never heard back. Took care of the problem myself. - Wild animals. 4-5 tray cats. At least 1 skunk and a family of possums (seen both myself). - Random strangers and homeless people. The community is "gated". The gates are old and don't always close themselves. The codes are also only changed once a year. On several occasions, random people can be seen on the grounds. A resident had a homeless person inside their garage and got a few things stolen. And the mailboxes were broken into last year. - Smokers. They have moved from the parking lots to outside of the gates, but within 5-10 feet of a resident building. Marijuana smokers? That'll be indoors. read more

I recently went her for a friends daughter's birthday party which was held by the pool area. This space is pretty nice! It feels like you're actually in a house with a tv screen, couches, tables/chairs, a fireplace, pool table, and full use of the kitchen! They also have a mini movie theater to keep some of the kids quite but the adults love it too! I would definitely try to hold my daughter's birthday parties here if non-residents are able to! read more

Been living here since 2014 and am so incredibly disappointed with the lack of action from management and how filthy the property has become. What's the point in reporting things if nothing is going to be done? The are too many cons for me to give this place more than 1 star. CONS: - Very dark hallways and walkways, due to multiple broken lights that have never been replaced (many since before we moved in). - Tenants sneaking in over a dozen people to illegally live in their apartment. - Tenants and guests smoking in the apartments and balconies. We've had our unit filled with smoke twice already, it's ridiculous. - People parking in your carport repeatedly. They are unapologetic and don't give a crap that it's YOUR assigned carport. - There's almost never any parking available, because of the dozens of people illegally living in the other units. They have tons of cars that just sit on the property, while the rest of us actually go to work. - Hallways and walkways are always filthy with trash and other mystery liquids splashed everywhere. - The stairs are filthy and falling apart. You can actually see the huge chunks of pavement breaking off of the steps. - Security is almost never on site. Even if you call them directly, it takes them well over an hour to arrive. Sometimes they don't arrive at all. - I've seen my share of drug deals happen on the property, along with car and garage break ins. - Loud neighbors throwing parties on weeknights have had us up until 3am on almost a weekly basis. Even after I've seen security and police show up, they continue to be obnoxious and loud. - Some tenants feel the need to talk loudly on their phones outside until 1am and will even stand right outside your door to do it as well. - Guests of tenants have taken over the gym and broken some of the new machines that were just installed not so long ago. They hang out in there and even prop the door open for their other friends to get in. You need to be a resident to have a key in order to enter the gym, but clearly they find a way around it. - Complaints to management are almost always ignored. Or management somehow turns it around and blames you for even complaining. - There are silverfish bugs everywhere, it's disgusting! PROS: - Maintenance is nice and tries their best to fix issues in the apartments. - Megan and Jackie at the front desk are awesome. read more

Darn you, Yelp. When are you gonna let us give negative stars? This place reminds me of a used car dealership because they try to sell you on superfluous extras (see Ralph C.'s review of said amenities) but then when you get back to the leasing office, they try to royally screw you over. After a tour of the complex as well as the minuscule apartment (less than 700 sq. ft!!!), I ended up in the leasing office and started asking about the rental rates that they advertised on that other free website that starts with a "C." The leasing rep seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. So when she brought it to the attention of leasing manager (who apparently posted the ads himself), I was surprised when they both came back and said, "Oh, well the rates that we advertised are old and the rent just went up yesterday." POPPYCOCK!!!! The rent that the leasing rep offered for the closet-sized apartment was nearly $200 more than what was advertised. The used car salesmen--er, leasing rep tried to assuage my disappointment by saying that I actually get one month free so it ends up being close to the rent that was advertised. What-EV. This place gets a whopping NEGATIVE 5 stars for blatant false advertising and for wasting my time. I have no idea how people get away with this kind of crap. Isn't this illegal?!? read more

We lived here for about 8 months, and it was one of the better renting experiences that we've had in the area. Pros: -property is presentable -all of the staff is friendly -trash pickup 3 days per week -my favorite part was maintenance. There was one man who mainly serviced our requests in building R - he was fantastic. If something wasn't working properly, he would first see if it was something he could repair. If that wasn't the case, it didn't take long to get a replacement. -Sheryl, the property manager, is awesome. She's very down to earth, and performs the same duties that her office staff performs. She's usually the one who answered the phone when I called, and she always rushed out of her office to help when she would hear someone enter (even though it seemed like there were staff members out there who weren't doing anything). -decent amount of parking available -business center with printing and faxing abilities Cons: -although the trash pickup was convenient, it was sloppy. There was always fallen trash all over the floor where they would throw the trash bags down to. I always had to make sure my dog wouldn't pick up someone's chicken bones or leftover food when we walked through the area. -the office staff is not responsive or dependable over phone or email. A lot of them (Personally, with Laura and Matthew), just stop replying to the emails. When we were moving out, Marina made the move-out inspection such a pain since she didn't pass along that the staff had permission to enter to compete the move-out inspection - on top of no one letting me know that they missed me and weren't going to make another attempt to come back. -Our apartment was by the pedestrian gate which constantly slammed at all hours of the day and night. We would've lived here longer, but left for a job opportunity in another area. I miss the setup of the apartment - the side-by-side washer and dryer, walk-in closets, and the cabinetry in the bathroom. I also miss the best maintenance man I've ever had. read more

I've lived here for seven years, and have slowly watched as the quality of life declines. When I first moved in, the lease was reviewed with us in great detail. Every minor rule was explained and they made sure we understood. Things from "don't hang your laundry on the balcony" to "respect the quiet hours" were gone over in great detail. It seems that even management and security now have no respect for the rules that many of us try so hard to follow. I was at the pool an hour before closing, and a group of college-aged kids came in and started drinking and smoking weed. I filed a complaint, but have no idea if it was received or addressed. When I attempted to rent a larger apartment at the end of my most recent leasing term, they gave away the new one I chose, despite the fact that I had been working with one of their employees for about a month on the switch. When I asked the leasing manager what she was going to do to remedy the situation, she laughed at me. Literally. I asked her how I can live here for seven years and not be treated like I matter, and she suggested that I hadn't done my part to get to know them... I figured paying my rent on time for seven years should be enough to be treated with respect, but apparently not. And now, I've returned from vacation to find that my sink is so clogged (I have no idea why; I've been gone for a week), that it's halfway full with brown, chemical-smelling water. I called in a maintenance request last Saturday. By Monday night, the problem still wasn't fixed. I talked to the office, and reiterated my request, emphasizing the fact that this is the only bathroom I have, it smells like chemicals, I don't want to go in there... And here I sit on Wednesday without the problem being addressed. The sad fact is that the lease terms prevent me from moving until spring, and the rents in the area have gotten so high that I feel trapped in this miserable place. read more

We've been residents at Park Place for a couple years now. In that time, things have been better, and things have been worse than they are now. The Good: Great pool area. Adequate gym. Nicely kept grounds. The end of the reserved uncovered parking system is a vast improvement. 3x weekly garbage pickup at your door is super convenient. The Bad: The water pressure isn't great and there seem to be frequent issues with the plumbing complex-wide. The management occasionally sends out "nasty-grams" chiding the residents for doing this or that - rather than addressing the direct culprits (do they not know?). Garbage is not always picked up on the day is it supposed to be. The Ugly: The rent has gone from expensive but worth it to over the top. Guess the market will tolerate as they still maintain a high occupancy rate... but really starting to feel like the cost does not match up to the value. read more

This review is based on an attempt to view and lease an apartment. They are a HOT MESS! I scheduled an appointment for 5:30pm to view a property that was being advertised on Craigslist for $2195. The woman who answered the phone was very accommodating and even sent me a confirmation email reserving my 5:30pm appointment. At 4:30pm, I received a call and voicemail from a rep at the Estates to confirm my 5:00pm appointment. I call the rep back around 4:45pm, while en route from Mountain View to Fremont to view the property. The rep lets me know that they do not show apartments after 5:00 pm for her safety and mine, and that she will inform the corporate call center immediately to spare other people in the future. Great, what does that do for me? I was pretty annoyed at this point, and asked her if I had left work for nothing. She told me that she could talk to her manager and see if there is something she could do. She never let me know if she was going to call me back or if I should call her back. She just said bye and hung up. I called my husband immediately to see if he could make it to the property ASAP to view the unit. He called the Estates back to let the rep know he was on his way, and she advised him that she would be happy to show the apartment at 5:30pm. Great, thanks for the heads up? He arrives for the appointment, and proceeds to tour the unit that was advertised on Craigslist. He immediately noticed that the unit he was viewing was not the same one advertised, and shows the rep the Craigslist ad. She again blames "corporate" for posting the inaccurate Craigslist ad and states that the apartment advertised is actually $2490, and $2195 is for an unremodeled, much smaller unit. She explains she will again contact corporate immediately to fix the ad. Great, so we rushed over and left work early for an appointment we never would have made if we knew about the real unit we were going to see. The rep advised my husband that she would follow up with some prices and layouts, we have yet to hear from her. I called corporate that same night, and was told that the property management would have to deal with all the miscommunication and false advertisement. Essentially, no one knows what's going on. I wish I checked Craigslist before we fell for their sad Bait and Switch scheme. read more

My wife and I lived here for 2 and a half years. The apartment was spacious, neighbors were friendly and the initial staff that we dealt with were extremely personable. After the first year that drastically changed! The grounds were still kept relatively clean but the service became the absolute worst. The phone doesn't get answered, they don't respond to service calls and when you get someone on the phone it seems as if you're wasting "their" time! If you are in a customer facing environment on would suggest that the employees posses some form of customer service. It seems that was forgotten when hiring the employees that currently work there. If you're spending your money, I wouldn't recommend The Estates to dead man. read more

We recently moved to Fremont and after a long survey of the apartments we found "The Estates at Park Place by Windsor Community" to be called in the real sense as "Home". The apartments are clean, well-lit with the natural light and cheaper comparatively to other apartments of the same caliber. We met Tamara Thomas from the Estates at Park Place Team , she is a very talented person. She recognizes the needs of others and reaches out to lend a helping hand. She displays a practical approach to solving problems. I observed her as a person who makes a strong effort to achieve greater experience and skills, she has all the potential for advancement in life. I'm not really sure what to say about this place... You get what you pay for.. I do love the garden tub in every apartment also the full size washer and dryer in it's own room. Also central heat/AC. All of these which are mandatory in my book. I wasn't too pleased in seeing my apartment for the first time. BAD BAD BAD BAD shaped the floor boards are black from all the traffic and wear and tear on them. Is it that hard to paint them? Our fridge didn't work and our ceiling fan wasn't screwed in all the way! Though they did have both fixed the same day. Thankfully. Shame on the leasing agent who gave us a covered parking space that was already taken!! So as of right now we don't have a parking spot and won't until someone moves out of our building NOT happy at all. The little things get to me. I have a service animal so I know how hard it is to clean up after them... IT'S NOT come on people pick up after your animals. You give pet owners a bad name if it's so hard to pick up after them don't have them. I dislike how nasty the halls get when people leave their garbage outside 2 days before it's suppose to get picked up.. Gross it smells take it out yourself lazy! Other than that. It's an okay place it's nicely located to everything. So I can't complain to much. read more

So here an update... Still have issues with management. Noisy neighbor issue problem was solved, finally... After multiple complaints. Water still takes a long time to get warm. We called about this issue many times and they have different stories. Staff told us there is a problem in our building regarding the water heater and that some parts will be changed "in a week or so." I called back about a month later and they said they don't remember having a water heater issue. Called them back a few weeks later and they said "There are a lot more other priorities on the property which needed to be handled first" - ISSUE NOT SOLVED. My biggest program is the SILVERFISH!! We have been seeing and killing silverfish since the day we got here. We complained and they said they will spray. We were not at home but was informed that the house has been sprayed for silverfish. Since the house has been sprayed we became to see MORE! Until last week when we saw plenty... On my clothing, my toothbrush, kitchen counters, walls, etc. I called them and they don't even apologize (they haven't many of the time we complained). I get its not in directly their fault but that's bad customer service. I told her the house has already been sprayed and we want to see what our other options are. She said she can have the house inspected. I was home all day that Friday and no one came. I called today and asked her if the house has been inspected. She said yes! I told her no one came, then she says "I was informed that they don't inspect units for silverfish." I don't like inconsistency. I told her the house was already sprayed, I need other options. She looked at our records and said the house was sprayed for SPIDERS. I told her we didn't have a major issue with spiders, it was the silverfish. Still no apology and she said the best they can do is put us on the list for the house to be sprayed for silverfish. I had to agree. Management is all over the place! Please note that this is a review of my apartment hunting experience only and not living here. Sonia Mirabrishami, Marketing Representative, was by far the best person I met with during my weeks of apartment hunting in the Bay area. She took her time and went over anything and everything about the complex. The tour was inclusive and the amenities lined up moreso with my lifestyle than other complexes. 24 hour gym (albeit small) and the reserve able club house for parties. Not sure if there was a fee or not. I can't remember. Anyway, I could have easily seen my apartment warming party there haha. I think we both used the saying that the place appears to be resort like. Big barbecue area too to use by tenants. The projection/movie theater area looked cool. I just wondered if people really used that room haha. We chatted a bit and she was very personable. She really got a feel of my situation despite it being so close to the end of the day. She even opened things back up because we went into off hours a bit, so I could see everything that the community had to offer. What impressed me the most from Sonia, was her follow up. She didn't follow up with me once but a couple of times, each time to keep me informed and up to date with what was going on availability wise. This was phenomenal. I figured once she reached out to me the first time and it wasn't what I was looking for, then she wouldn't contact me again. I guess I was wrong. Unfortunately, the unit that I liked was on the second or third floor, so I continued my apartment search because of the need for a ground unit or elevator. This was the place I was considering the most when I was in Fremont and primarily because of Sonia. Thanks again! read more

It has been over 20 years since I have lived in an apartment. (homeowner for years) I was so concerned about noise, creepy neighbors and the maintenance of the complex at any location. I looked at many east bay places before I discovered The Estates. I have been here for five months and I am so friggin happy I can't stand it. Let me explain. It is a given about the complex and property it's self. The amenities are kept up wonderfully and units are impeccable. My friends can't believe this is an apartment. My building and neighbors are so quiet that I forget that I live in an apartment. I never hear anyone and sometimes think that the units around me are vacant. Most of my happiness has to do with the staff: The day of my tour with Zuzana till the day I picked up my keys was not only a smooth transaction but fun. She has been my welcoming committee. She has always been open and available to discuss any concerns or tiny issues I might be having with my apartment or the complex. She answers my questions quickly and always has a resolution. She has always been honest and has set my expectations realistically. I am amazed by every single transaction and he speed she acts on it. Today she informed me that in less than 24 hours after I sent over suggested repair list of the Fitness center, a crew was there working on it. This is crazy! I ran into Doug one day in the office and was surprised that he was the property manager, why? Because he was so approachable and had impeccable listening skills. It is so important to any tenant that we are heard (btw I never yell). Most high level management would just pass you along to the "worker bees" and can't be bothered. This was not the case, Doug he listened to my reasonable requests and took the time to make sure that my needs were met. Nice to have management go that extra step. Since I have moved in I have found some tiny repair/fix it problems in my place. jorge has been wonderful. He always shows up on time, explains the issues and resolution. Has great communication skills and gets in/out timely manner. This is perfect for me as I work from home 80% of the time and having these service repairs done quickly doesn't interrupt my work flow at all. I guess after reading all the other Yelp reviews, I have been very fortunate but then I believe that you attract more bees with honey than vinegar. read more

I lived at the Estates at Park Place for 2 years and moved away. I am moving back to the Estates in a month. The mullet man Shane is gone, and he was snotty. I really like the new management. The apartments are beautiful and reasonably priced for what you get in the area. The neighbors, maintenance, and staff are all very friendly. The grounds are kept up very nicely and I love the trash service. I never hear my neighbors or their garage. The apartments DO NOT have paper thin walls. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. read more

The outside looks beautiful ....however, we found many problems when moved into the apartments 1) the stairs that lead towards the apartments are very dirty, with cobwebs for days. 2) The apartment is very over-priced for the amount of room they give in each apartment 3) there are no elevators, which makes it difficult to bring in heavy supplies and/or groceries 4) People have to come through your bedroom in order to use the restroom, a big NO NO. read more

I lived here (2003-2005) before buying a place with a lonnng commute attached to it. I returned here because of the good memories. Pros: The maintenance staff is excellent! They've arrived within 24 hrs to fix any clog that I've had. They even replaced a faulty/old washing machine with a new one. The grounds are well-kept. Aliah in the front office is a gem. She always has a smile and doesn't make tenants wait too long when they retrieve packages. Easy commute to work. Beautiful clubhouse and pool area. The apartment's walls are not too thin and its design is modern. Cons: Somewhat expensive. I wanted to move because of an issue with a neighbor's annoying dog that barked incessantly at odd hours (I work shift-work). After several complaints, to the neighbor and the front office, I decided it would be best to relocate while they were 'working out' what to do about the lonely (?) dog. However, the office declined to waive the termination fee and required a 2 months' notice to leave. So, I decided to stick it out for a while longer. I ended up purchasing a bark deterrent from the pet store ($85), which helps. As soon as I hear that crazed barking though, I know its time to change the battery, which is about monthly. To summarize, do your homework before moving anywhere. Once you move into a place, you sometimes have to get re-motivated to pack your things and move again. read more
